Detailed Reviews
Holding lifetime Titanium Elite status with Marriott's Bonvoy loyalty program, but needing to top up my points for a planned stay in Europe later this year, I decided to do the hotel equivalent of a "Points Run", with a one night stay at Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane on a Tuesday night, followed by a Friday night stay at The Westin Brisbane.
First, the room rate was all-but-unbelievable for a week night in Brisbane: AU$139 (@ US$95, inclusive of tax), including breakfast for two, valet parking (which usually costs $49 per night), and entry to The Westin pool (as there isn't one at Four Points).
Upon arrival, my wife & I were warmly welcomed by Joanna, who was very nice and friendly, thanked me for my loyalty as a Marriott Bonvoy member, and recognised my Titanium Elite status by giving us a room upgrade.
Service at the hotel was excellent throughout our stay.
The food on offer at the breakfast buffet was varied and of high quality, with plenty of healthy options. My wife & I ordered vegetarian omelettes, and they were cooked perfectly.
Thanks to the team at Four Points by Sheraton who made my wife's & my stay so nice and enjoyable! We'll definitely return for another "staycation".

We've stayed here before - about 2 years ago. It was great value back then, and great value this time around, our room rate included valet parking, breakfast and late checkout. Room was very clean and well set out. The brekky buffet was delicious and I asked for the recipe for the healthy peanut butter bars, which the chef gladly handed over. The Westin hotel next door is part of the same hotel chain, so we got to use their pool which was a lovely place to relax. This hotel is really in a great location. Accessible to Eagle St, the wharves, the Queen St Mall and also Southbank.
FInding a good hotel in Brisbane is easy, but by the time you add nightly car parking in, the price can skyrocket up by another $100. The parking was included in the room rate - what fabulous value!
We will definitely be back. Best value hotel in Brisbane, and to be honest, probably one of the nicest, too.

In general people would like booking hotel via third apps due to more convenient, discounts, or other benefits. The hotel should inform to other apps for the misunderstanding of swimming pool facility. There is no swimming pool inside the hotel, the guest should go to PUBLIC pool where it takes around 1.5km from the hotel. You don’t need to be the guest hotel if you wanna go there.
The location is very strategic, near to the city center, access to queen street mall, and other convenient restaurants or shops. The hotel was clean with friendly staffs.
The hotel provides a good view actually, but it is blocked by taller buildings surrounding the hotel.

Dear ridhonaf, Thanks for your feedback following your recent stay at the Four Points Brisbane and apologise for any confusion or miscommunication with regards to the swimming pool. Unfortunately, we don't have a pool however, our sister property The Westin Brisbane has a fabulous pool area which our guests are able to take advantage of by booking our special packages which include access. On a brighter note, I'm pleased that you enjoyed our central location and you found the team friendly and welcoming. Being a central CBD hotel, we are surrounded by both residential and office buildings. Your constructive comments are much appreciated and certainly taken on board. Kind regards Brad Mercer General Manager

Stayed a night at four points for our wedding anniversary. We booked a package and it included valet parking, buffet breakfast and the use of the westins pool and a free cocktail each aswell. We also got upgraded to a city view room.
Was a really nice stay, the staff were all nice and friendly.
Nice and central and could walk everywhere.
Comfy bed and overall great stay :)

Disgusting hotel. Staff were rude, refused even the most basic requirements such as cleaning items for the room. Room service food is disgusting. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Definitely will not be staying here again.

I was disappointed with this hotel, given it is marketed as a four star it fell way below my expectations. The room had everything I would expect and the bed was comfortable however the towels are small, there are limited toiletries, limited complimentary hot beverages and the fridge was empty save for a few milk pods. I landed late so ordered room service for dinner which came in a brown paper take out bag with the food in cardboard containers. The breakfast buffet was nice and the hotel staff friendly. Re rate this as a three star and it would fit expectations.

Dear Fiona T, Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback following your recent stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane. I was disappointed that we failed to meet your expectations. This is not what you would expect from a hotel of our calibre and obviously we fell short on a number of occasions which has impacted on your stay. This is not at all typical of what we strive to achieve here at the Four Points by Sheraton and indeed we must do better. Your feedback has been discussed with our Management team to ensure improvements follow and rest assured these are taken on board. Kind regards Brad Mercer General Manager

I often stay here during quarantine and every time I feel like I am in a worse place than prison. They claim to be "covid safe" but there are areas that haven't been cleaned forever.
Now about the food...prepare to have your worst experience. The food is absolutely terrible. You ask for your food through a QR code and most of the time the order gets lost in between. I am currently waiting for my dinner that I've asked for almost two hours ago. Even if you ask for uber eats brace yourself to wait half an hour to have your order brought from reception to your room.
There are no good days here. Some of the staff seem exhausted of complaints but things are only getting worse.
Windows don't open and the view is as claustrophobic as the room itself. The carpet is always full of dust and the bathroom always smells.
Every time I'm praying not to be allocated to this hole on earth that is this hotel. Treated worse than animals.
For one or two nights is average but 14 days? Hell no.

+1
I’m all about sunlight inside rooms, and while I do appreciate all the many windows to make the room cheery, the location of some of them were strange. I kept my shades drawn because of this, which made the room darker. First, there is a floor to ceiling window right next to the toilet, and you have a great view of the building next door. Second, when you lay in bed, there are floor to ceiling windows again with perfect views of the adjacent buildings. Living in New York we leave our windows open all the time, but these windows were too close to the building next door. It would nice to have drapes instead of blackout shades so the view can be somewhat distorted instead of blocked out completely.
Overall the customer service and location are great! Although the breakfast wasn’t worth it.

Dear BoysInNY, Firstly, thanks for choosing to stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane and pleased you found our level of customer service met your expectations and you also took advantage of our central location for exploring the city. I appreciate your comments in relation to the windows and coverings in the guestrooms and they are very valid and certainly taken on board as I can understand that black out blinds are not to everyone's liking. Thank you again and we do hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back again. Kind regards Brad Mercer Complex General Manager

We did not use the pool during our stay
Hi ECWWTP, we can certainly arrange this for you. Look forward to having you stay with us. Christian
I would take the municipal bus that gets you right to Lone Pine. I think it was $5 Aus per person round trip for the bus. You can get tickets to the park at the theatre in town ($42 Aus per person). The bus stop is a block away from there. We did it on our own and was really easy this way.
There are some cafes nearby to enjoy breakfast - if you are an Accor member there are several hotels where you get 50% off the breakfast buffet.
Sorry didn't hear any noise from construction when I stayed there so not sure about now
