Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The room we were in was a Very small room, but Clean
Very limited car parking (approx 10 parks)
Otherwise free on street parking between 7pm-7am. Then only upto 3 hours which has to be paid (ticket machine nearby)
Not for the disabled. All stairs.

This hotel is well situated being a 10 to 20 minute walk from Brisbane . The lady at reception was not only very nice but very efficient . PARKING is a MAJOR problem with this hotel as there are only 12 parking spaces which when we arrived were all full . We had to pay $17 for 3 hours across the road and found a small one in a narrow street not far overnight . The parking on Wickham terrace goes from 7am to 10pm Mon - Sun at $17 for 3 hours . You are forewarned.
The room itself was very outdated and there was rust on the door to the balcony . Credit where it’s due the shower was amazing but there was no extractor fan in the bathroom. It was one of the most secure hotels as well with keys required to enter the building before access to the rooms .
Unfortunately I would not stay here again due to the lack of parking .

A Small motel situated pretty much in in the Cbd of Brisbane it is close to Roma Street station but please be careful you have to follow the instructions of the GPS otherwise you may get lost the rooms are very small however I found them comfortable and relaxing.
It is a good hotel to spend one night or tonight if you’re in a hurry or you don’t want to get into the hassles of Brisbane rooms are very small however as I said for a couple of nights there a good state it is also close to the station which adds a lot of value and the receptionist lady was really good good. As I checked in the early she help me in accommodating by checking in early and she explained all the instructions nicely Wi-Fi quality was good but I have basic model who does the job for a couple of nights

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone or ever return, before we even checked in my son received instant discrimination and we were threatened to be kicked out if he made any noise or if he left the hotel room because he is disabled. It also states free wifi but there is not.
If I could give -5 starts I would.

Bad parking, small room. Front counter staff rude.
Wouldn’t check us in without seeing everyone’s license…. Shouldn’t it just be the person that made the booking?
Rooms not sound proof at all …. Would like to thank room 408 for the porn sounds echoing down the hallway.
No lifts
Shower mouldy
Items broken in room
Fridge unplugged so had to leave cold food out until fridge wasn’t at least hot.

This is no Hilton. But this is a very affordable stay within walking distance from the city centre, Roma street parklands and Roma street station. The lady at the front reception was friendly and informative. The room was clean and modern, but a little bit on the small side and the area is quiet in the evening. Will stay there again whenever I go up to Brisbane

Attempted to change my reservation after a flight was rescheduled. They didn’t have space to accommodate my new dates - fine - but they charged me full price and didn’t offer any type of credit, partial refund, nothing. I’m out $200. If your hotel is all booked up and in such high demand, surely you could’ve filled my room. I understand you have your policies but they couldn’t have given less of a sh*t about my situation. They were rude and short with me. Travel plans change all the time and I would much rather deal with people who have some level of understanding and flexibility in extenuating circumstances. This was just pure greed.

Firstly Ray and his Son could not be more accommodating and helpful , travelling from the UK Ray responded to all my emails quickly.

On arrival Ray gave us some top tips and helped find are way around the city, the hotel is literally 5 minute walk to the city centre.

The hotel is clean and very well kept , fantastic shower and the little balcony to sit outside with a coffee was amazing . Yes it’s winter in Brisbane but coming from the UK, it was like summer.

Stayed 4 night had a great time, would stay again if in Brisbane.

My friend and I had booked this place a few months ago when planning our trip to Australia this month.
On arrival after two very long flights from Ireland at 23:30 during an electrical storm, we found the reception shut! Horrified is an understatement. We phoned the emergency number to be met with the most unhelpful person, who told us reception would be open at 8am, she put the phone down on us.
We eventually found a hotel only to be met in the morning by an email saying as we were a “no show”!!! Our booking was cancelled!! We didn’t get chance to book in that day either,
Booking.com need to remove this hotel from their listings.
I would avoid this hotel at all costs. They are refusing to reimburse us!!!
