Needing an accessible stay in Brisbane’s west, we found this ideally located motel that met our needs. We found the room type by calling the motel directly. Accessible entry is via the ground floor rather than the flight of stairs . It is suitable if staying with an able bodied person (due to access) however the bathroom and access within the room is spacious enough.

Stayed here in June for Business. On check in you are provided with WIFI codes Firstly, the room was a Superior One Bedroom Apartment, room was massive own little kitchen area, lounge room area , bathroom and bedroom I was on ground level, other levels had balconies, but mine had little area with table chairs to sit outside room.
Secondly - They only do Breakfast Buffet, has all your breakfast requirements and can also ask the service person to do eggs for you the way you like them.
Thirdly there is no dinner on site - For dinner the hotel provides a shuttle bus to a local pub, local Thai food Place and another place. The shuttle bus leaves certain times and all this information is in the room. so you can have a few drinks and have the shuttle collect you from the local pub. Last Shuttle back to hotel is around 9.15pm. Also you are directly across the road from a massive shopping centre. Overall this was a good pick

I recently stayed for two nights on Family business. I only required a standard room. my room was located on the lower (below Ground level) and was nothing more than a grubby dungeon.
The floors were dirty and gritty, even after I had showered, I later had to wash my feet in the bath before getting into bed.
The TV was small and most of the Free to Air channels were not programmed in, next day I asked if that could be fixed (but never happened).
Back door opened onto a dead and dirty garden with tissues in the dry trees, fist I thought that they were flowers.
Screen door wouldn't lock, and the screen fad been torn back (looked like a previous unlawful entry).
On the first night I returned to the motel after going out for a meal only to find that someone else had parked in mt designated undercover car park.
Unit is old and requires a full over hall, very sad.
I won't be staying again.

My family and I spent 4 nights at the hotel as we were visiting Brisbane for my cousins wedding. Went out for the day and came back to find a plastic bag full of dirty clothes missing including the dress I wore for the first time to the wedding. Told the manager about it in the morning who was very pleasant but stated they were not liable for missing items. They went through the linen etc, brought the cleaner over to tell me she would surely have noticed it. Since the only people in the room that day were staff and I knew for certain the bag was there when I left (I don't usually carry my dirty laundry around with me during the day), I thought it was reasonable for the cost to be reimbursed- especially considering how overpriced the accommodation is. But no, not liable. Have tried to get onto someone from the Charlton Hotel chain but apparently the phone number they advertise doesn't exist anymore.
So overall a pretty disappointing stay.

Friendly, accommodating staff, comfortable air conditioned room in a quiet location was most welcome after a afternoon/evening wedding. Check in was 2pm but a request for a noon check in was given, allowing time to get ready. Sunday buffet breakfast, a good start to the day before the journey home.

I have been using the Mt Ommaney Hotel Apartments for the past six years, Initially the operation had a restaurant, unfortunately that has been closed for some time now however they did used to still offer breakfast. I was prepared to use this place as my previous experiences had been good even without a restaurant providing evening meals .The staff were friendly and helpful and there was sense of being welcome when you checked in.
Unfortunately that has changed, I recently stayed for one night and at the time of checking in the mature lady behind the counter was at best cold and disinterested. As I needed to leave early the next morning I asked whether I would be able to order a cold breakfast to take to my room as I would need to leave by 4:30 am. I was met with a very short no and was told that this was something they did not do, in an attempt to clarify I asked whether there was anything I could have and I was again told no. My booking had been made with a chargeback for breakfast so I was somewhat taken aback by this.
In my opinion the simple gesture of providing your customer with some dry breakfast food and some milk would have been sufficient but it seemed that this is not an option. Unfortunately I ended up having to find my way across the road to buy some muesli bars in the pouring rain and made do with a McDonald’s meal for dinner.
Although the rooms are provided with complimentary WIFI I was not offered this when checking in, once I arrived at my room there was no indication that I could find of what number to call reception to request the password. As there was a downpour outside and from my experience when pleading for breakfast I wasn’t really fond of the idea of returning in the rain to the reception desk cap in hand to ask for something else.
The condition of the Mt Ommaney Hotel Apartments is now quite dated and for the price there are better options. I have previously requested that the entity that books my accommodation in Brisbane book at the Mt Ommaney Hotel however I will no longer be doing this, and I will also be providing an outline of my experience to the corporate travel agency and requesting that for the wider circle of travellers this location is to be avoided.
I have stayed in a lot of different accommodation in Brisbane and in my experience they have been friendly and obliging and made me feel welcome. Unfortunately the Mt Ommaney Apartments have changed and no longer have the customer’s welfare or comfort in mind.

Stayed here for 1 night in a 2 bedroom apartment with three children. Whilst the apartment was a bit dated, it was spacious, clean and well presented. It was extremely good value for money and the location was great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend these apartments for families.

Stayed for 2 nights to attend a friend's party near by. Easy to get to by car. Handy location near Mount Ommaney shopping centre, about 5 minutes walk. Reasonably price. Found the room clean and comfortable, with all the necessary requirements. Staff were friendly. Had the buffet breakfast at $22 each, basic but quite delicious with friendly and helpful staff.
