Secondly - They only do Breakfast Buffet, has all your breakfast requirements and can also ask the service person to do eggs for you the way you like them.
Thirdly there is no dinner on site - For dinner the hotel provides a shuttle bus to a local pub, local Thai food Place and another place. The shuttle bus leaves certain times and all this information is in the room. so you can have a few drinks and have the shuttle collect you from the local pub. Last Shuttle back to hotel is around 9.15pm. Also you are directly across the road from a massive shopping centre. Overall this was a good pick

The floors were dirty and gritty, even after I had showered, I later had to wash my feet in the bath before getting into bed.
The TV was small and most of the Free to Air channels were not programmed in, next day I asked if that could be fixed (but never happened).
Back door opened onto a dead and dirty garden with tissues in the dry trees, fist I thought that they were flowers.
Screen door wouldn't lock, and the screen fad been torn back (looked like a previous unlawful entry).
On the first night I returned to the motel after going out for a meal only to find that someone else had parked in mt designated undercover car park.
Unit is old and requires a full over hall, very sad.
I won't be staying again.
So overall a pretty disappointing stay.
Unfortunately that has changed, I recently stayed for one night and at the time of checking in the mature lady behind the counter was at best cold and disinterested. As I needed to leave early the next morning I asked whether I would be able to order a cold breakfast to take to my room as I would need to leave by 4:30 am. I was met with a very short no and was told that this was something they did not do, in an attempt to clarify I asked whether there was anything I could have and I was again told no. My booking had been made with a chargeback for breakfast so I was somewhat taken aback by this.
In my opinion the simple gesture of providing your customer with some dry breakfast food and some milk would have been sufficient but it seemed that this is not an option. Unfortunately I ended up having to find my way across the road to buy some muesli bars in the pouring rain and made do with a McDonald’s meal for dinner.
Although the rooms are provided with complimentary WIFI I was not offered this when checking in, once I arrived at my room there was no indication that I could find of what number to call reception to request the password. As there was a downpour outside and from my experience when pleading for breakfast I wasn’t really fond of the idea of returning in the rain to the reception desk cap in hand to ask for something else.
The condition of the Mt Ommaney Hotel Apartments is now quite dated and for the price there are better options. I have previously requested that the entity that books my accommodation in Brisbane book at the Mt Ommaney Hotel however I will no longer be doing this, and I will also be providing an outline of my experience to the corporate travel agency and requesting that for the wider circle of travellers this location is to be avoided.
I have stayed in a lot of different accommodation in Brisbane and in my experience they have been friendly and obliging and made me feel welcome. Unfortunately the Mt Ommaney Apartments have changed and no longer have the customer’s welfare or comfort in mind.
"The rooms are very dated it might be better to do a price comparison with a nicer place"Read full review
