The Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane garners praise for its blend of historic charm and contemporary luxury, with many travelers finding the spacious rooms a comfortable retreat. However, some guests have called out cleanliness and maintenance as areas needing improvement. The service receives mixed reviews, ranging from criticism of staff attitudes to commendations for professionalism. While the hotel's atmosphere is occasionally marred by noise from nearby nightlife, its central location is consistently celebrated for convenience. Value is recognized by guests who cite the reasonable rates, though additional costs have raised concerns for some.

Our family of 4 stayed in the corner interconnecting suite with a 1 bedroom unit and a studio unit (each had separate doors but there's another door on the outside of the 2 rooms) The rooms were clean and tidy, very spacious and comfortable with kitchenette and refrigerator. The bath products were nice. The 1 bedroom unit had a washing machine (w/detergent packet) and dryer which was very helpful during our travels. The corner room was quiet. Location of hotel was central making it easy to walk to restaurants, grocery market, shopping, etc nearby. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend this hotel. The interconnecting suite is perfect for families.

Just a couple of negatives to be aware of (although the positives of the hotel still outweigh and I would stay again and recommend)
-Parking garage is very small so you won't be able to get a spot if you come back late from dinner. We couldn't find a spot one night and had to park in nearby garage and pay extra. The next night we took Uber to dinner. If you don't have a car, Adina is a great stay.
-One day after housekeeping made up the room, the outside door to our suite was wide open. the door stoppers were left on the inside doors as well, leaving our rooms wide open. Luckily nothing was taken, but housekeeping needs to be much more careful to lock that door to the suite.

We shared a two bedroom apartment with brilliant views over river to Southbank.
Rooms were very comfortable, clean with a modern look.
The two bathrooms were well appointed as was the kitchen area with all you needed to make basic meals. Dishwasher powder, liquid, laundry powder etc all provided.
The apartments are situated in a very good position for access to CBD, Southbank, restaurants and cafes and public transport.
The reception service was amateur. When I advised I had difficulty getting hot water in my shower, I was advised there was no one available for maintenance over the weekend. I asked him to confirm that I was expected to shower in lukewarm water until Monday which he did. Luckily? I returned later that day to be advised someone had checked and resolved the issue.
As two women travelling with a total of six pieces of luggage we were disappointed there was no one to help taking them to the apartment or again down to reception on checking out. This led to two trips with one of us taking four pieces to/from apartment whilst the other stayed with other four pieces and then going back for the other two pieces.

Dear geraldined985, Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback on your latest stay at Adina Brisbane. Firstly, I would like to acknowledge your great review of our beautiful hotel facilities and atmosphere. We appreciate your lovely comments. I am also happy to know our central location at the heart of Brisbane City was well-suited for your travel needs. On another note, I apologise that this was not reflected in your experience with our friendly reception team. Although I am glad to hear we were able to assist you in resolving the issue with the water in your room, I am sorry that this solution was not presented better in your communications with the team. Please take comfort in the knowledge that this will be addressed with them for further training so that we can best address the comfort of our valued guests moving forward. In regard to the lack of assistance in carrying your bags to the room, I am sorry if you felt there was not enough support given to you at the time of check-in. Our team does its best to assist our guests at all times. However, as we do not offer Portarage at Adina Brisbane, this service can be difficult to fulfill at certain times. Again, Geraldine, I am sorry for the gaps in the service provided to you, and hope you know this does not reflect the Adina Brisbane team, nor the value we aim to provide our guests during their stay. We hope to have the chance to rectify this should you choose to stay with us again in the future. Kind regards, Naly S. | Duty Manager

This is a conversion from government offices with a frontage to George Street which offers views across the river. Our room was at the rear overlooking an internal courtyard and was untroubled by external noise. The bed was comfortable.
There was a full range of cooking facilities and we made good use of the washing machine and tumble drier which were located in the bathroom.
Highly recommended.

This is a lovely hotel which was perfect for a family with lots of space and the benefit of two bedrooms although strangely the second bedroom which was for two children was made as a double bed and despite asking for it to be changed into twin beds, it never happened. Couple of minor points - lights in lounge area were so dim it felt too dark in the evening. Also, the lack of drawers in the bedroom was a pain. The bathrooms were lovely and the decor was beautiful including the reception areas. The swimming pool was freezing and is not heated, which made it unusable and explains why I never saw anybody in it and my children only lasted a couple of minutes before getting out. The housekeeping service was terrible whilst we were there, admittedly it was Easter and on check in we were advised a reduce service would take place and that towels wouldn’t be replaced. However, we are not paying less for the privilege of this reduced service, we had to repeatedly ask for basic items such as toilet paper, kitchen cloths, shower gel and on one day the beds to be made, which the housekeeper looked aghast at doing! This is not what you expect of a 5 star hotel - Easter or not! The kitchenette was really useful but was tiny with no workspace, not sure how this could be solved but it made it difficult to actually cook anything or make lunches as space as so limited and there was nowhere to store anything other than on the windowsill. Luggage storage was helpful but a fixed checkout of no later than 12pm otherwise you have to pay by the hour. Wi-Fi was good.

Dear Gibbon, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with constructive feedback. I am delighted to hear that you have enjoyed some aspects of your stay and that you find the character of the building as charming as we do. Whilst we are not a 5-star hotel, we are always striving to provide a high-quality experience to our guests and are continuously making efforts to better them. However, I apologise that we did not meet your expectations in regard to the layout and service provided to your room. We take this feedback onboard and hope to improve where we can. In regard to the pool, due to being located outdoors, it has difficulty maintaining heat, but we are happy to see that guests still enjoy it - especially on hot days! - and are sorry to hear this wasn't the case during your stay. Our Green Service, as advised on check-in, is our attempt to save water, reduce electricity and minimize chemical use to reduce our carbon footprint. Please take comfort in the knowledge that when these take place, you can still request a full-service from our friendly team. We hope to welcome you back in the future and that your experience can be rectified. Kind regards, Naly S. | Acting Duty Manager

The apartment was beautiful. The only disappointment pertained to the housekeeping. On one day only, the room was comprehensively serviced in all aspects but on the other four days there were always one or more items overlooked, such as - my bed was not made on one day (not even touched), on another day my waste bin was not carefully emptied resulting in waste being spilled onto the floor and left there, twice the laundry detergent was not replenished, and cups and plates were left in the sink on another day. Noisy neighbour disrupted my sleep several times.

The hotel is a perfect combination of old style meets modern amenities. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was spacious and very comfortable for our week long holiday. Fully equipped kitchen was a bonus and fresh milk was supplied along with coffee and tea. The hotel is perfectly located with the Queen street mall a short walk away and there are many options for food and drinks. The Victoria bridge is minutes away for an easy stroll into South Bank. Despite the central location the hotel room was very quiet with no street noise or disturbance from other guests or the lifts. We have already recommended the hotel to our friends and will stay here again when we are next in Brisbane.

The staff were friendly and informative. I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment on 2nd floor. The view was of the city and the windows are double glazed so minimal outside noise (and it is located across from a pub!) Very comfortable beds and décor is delightful. The full kitchen in the apartment is fantastic. The location is so great - right in the heart of Brisbane and close to everything, casino, southbank, Queen St Mall - it was a perfect stay.
The parking was $30 per day and there is a little cafe that does "Happy Hour" each night however the choice of drinks are limited.

The Adina George Street is a beautiful and very comfortable stay in the heart of the Brisbane CBD at a very reasonable price. From the aromatic foyer to the comfortable, clean and very spacious rooms, to the convenience to all Brisbane CBD has to offer, its a great choice for any trip. Taxi rank nearby and the Queen street bus exchange proximity make it a convenient choice for travelers.

The lady at the front desk was quite presumptive and rude. When I requested extra bed for my kids (they were not travelling with us when we booked around 2 months ago), she started by saying "I don't know what you were expecting but it will cost you extra". Of course it costs extra. There was no need to presume anything otherwise or be rude about it.

Hi Siobhan Adina put a hold of $100 (pending only) on my credit card when we checked in. $100 hold is released at check out. I agree with Brenda, you will need to check the status of Debit Card situation or holding of any cash if that were the case. The hotel staff at Adina in Brisbane are so helpful and welcoming. I am sure if your each out with your query they will assist you. It is a fabulous apartment hotel!
