I have been to so many hotels around the world but the Customer Service provided by Mr Ram was the best service experience I have ever received. Mr Ram made us feel relax as we just got off from our long flight. He took great care of us and gave us clear options the hotel provides and that is a great selling point where a customer gets great value for their stay. Dear Management team, please congratulate Mr Ram on his excellent service on our behalf. Highly recommended hotel to stay

As a general rule I try to avoid overnight stays when transiting however with family members in Brisbane it was decided a single night stop would allow us to catch up following our recent cruise on Royal Caribbean. Brisbanes ICT (International cruise terminal) is located on the east (Ocean) side of the airport so it was decided that a stay at a local airport hotel would be the best option, giving us transport access and a quick getaway the following morning.

The Novotel did not disappoint. Located next to a major shopping outlet the location was close to the ICT and BNE terminals with direct access to both a shopping mall and factory outlet for those who wanted a bit of retail therapy.

As is always the case the Novotel the rooms were well appointed and clean, and with a status upgrade given at reception, we enjoyed a larger room layout to accomodate three pax.

Room service is available on site however the shopping mall within 5 mins walk offered an amazing array of open air restaurants. Breakfast buffet was up to the usual high Accor standard (however wasn’t needed after eating too much on our recent cruise)

For those travelling out on a cruise the hotel gives you the option of preloading drinks and snacks (Which can be expensive once you board the boat) Travellers have direct access to a Woolworths giving them the ability to preload drink bottles ect before their cruise departure.

The only knock I would have on the facility is the lack of a free transport option to and from the hotel. Most airport hotels I recommend to my clients world wide have free shuttle options that run frequently. At $8.00 per pax for a short run we were advised by staff that Uber was a better option, making the in house transport almost redundant. This is something I would like to see improved as beside the Pullman which is onsite at airport the Novotel is the other hotel I would recommend to my corporate client base.

All in all an amazing stay and would highly recommend.
** Please be aware airlines often use the Pullman and Novotel to service delayed flights making last minute bookings more difficult. If planning a trip book early to ensure access.

Dear TravelbizzAU, Thank you for your wonderful review of the Novotel Brisbane Airport. Our location is absolutely ideal for those taking a cruise at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal. Our location next to the DFO shopping outlet and Golf Central makes us the ideal choice for our leisure guests. It is a pleasure to read that your room was clean and comfortable, as to be expected, for your stay. I am sorry of the challenges experienced with transport from the hotel to and from the airport terminals. We greatly appreciate your feedback and will ensure to continue to look into ways to develop our transport options. Thank you again for taking the time to review our hotel and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your clients in the future. Kind regards, Andy Nie General Manager

The staff have been absolutely amazing and we've been blessed to be assigned here for our 14 day quarantine. Everyone was more than accommodating to our needs, especially with a 2yo who had no clue why we were locked in a room for 14 days.
Best staff experience of any hotel we've stayed in! We want to especially thank Thersha, she has been our angel!

Rooms are good for a night's stay as they are likely intended to be built for but staying in a room that size for 14 days, no opening window and only get to the roof top once a day for exercise where the pool is out of order due to a leak. WIFI is terrible. I flew from Papua New Guinea where I work on a remote island and the internet there is far better then the hotel. Telstra phone signal is not much better so hotspot from the phone is useless unless you have an Optus service. This is a common topic of the frustrated guests on the tiny tiled rooftop

On arrival we received friendly service. Given room keys and were told concierge could bring bags later, however I wanted them. With a broken leg struggled with trolley.
The room Air Con didn't work and was given a fan. Needed to keep the door open for some air.
We received a voucher to purchase food. BONUS.
You couldn't see out the windows they where so dirty. Exhaust fan didn't work, shower drain was blocked.
To top it off we received room service 4 meals with one set of cutlery for 2 people.
Spoke to manager and he promised to send an email. NOTHING

Unprofessional hotel Management took over an hour to organise a refund after overcharging for meals at restaurant and turned a birthday meal into a complicated, messy ordeal. Hotel management and staff showed extreme lack of hospitality skill. Would not recommend this hotel other than convenience to the airport. Be well prepared for long lines and waits for staff to work out how to perform their jobs. Beds in rooms are on wheels and skates away from the walls so losing pillows all night. Rooms clean and neat. But until hotel management changes I wouldn’t recommend staying here over the city.

I had pre arranged to have an early check in after an overnight international flight. There had been no email confirmation about this so I rang the night before to make sure. But when we arrived it seemed as if it was only just being arranged then. While I waited I was offered to have breakfast which I decided to do. It was the worst breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. The food was disgusting- the sausages tasted like cat food, and everything else except the 1 pastry I had was not much better. The girl at the breakfast counter was rude and pushy for a room number we did not have. The room it's self was clean and comfortable, but I had to get help from the cleaner on how to get in because the door lock was faulty and required a special 'jiggle ' to get it open. My suggestion is train your staff better, do some basic maintenance on the building, and maybe try to eat the food yourself and see if you think it is something you would be happy with if you had to pay for it.

Apart from price, as I understand it can “fluctuate” we had a bad experience with a front desk receptionist Shannon. We have stayed at the hotel several times, usually every couple of months for approx the last 8yrs. Never have I been spoken to like this before. Shannon wanted to debate our breakfast inclusion over the desk. We had been travelling for 24hrs and were extremely tired, I explained to her I wasn’t going to debate this now and that I needs my room key so I could put the kids to bed.

Then next minute booking.com call me directly and tell me Shannon has been contacting them about the room rate and the inclusion of breakfast. The lady said it was up to the hotel and nothing to do with them. I asked if we could have a refund for the breakfast we had paid for but Shannon wouldn’t agree to this.

Sigh... bad customer experience does leave a terrible taste in your mouth. There’s plenty of other places to stay in Brisbane so safe to say we won’t be back.

Dear Lee, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your recent stay at Novotel Brisbane Airport. From the outset, please do understand that our room rates fluctuate due to many factors - how and when you book, whether you take advantage of pre-paid rates or pay on arrival. Whilst I sympathise with your frustration, I am very surprised to read your comment about Shannon, as she is definitely one of the most valued and respected colleagues here at the hotel. My apologies if you interpreted Shannon’s dealings with you in this way. With regards to breakfast inclusion, it was confirmed by booking.com that one breakfast was included as only one adult was noted on the booking confirmation letter, which I believe you had. Nevertheless, we extended the gesture of goodwill to you and your family, 2 adults and 2 children to have breakfast without any additional charge. Once again, we are sorry to hear that your impression of our hotel was negative. Regards, Andy Nie General Manager

This is the hotel of our choice near the airport. Stayed there twice this month. Checking in is a breeze, staff are so helpful and friendly. Across the road is the DFO, so if you have some hours to spare and like shopping it is fabulous.
The rooms have all the conveniences that you would expect. Beds are comfortable. The shower is not great and the room we had, the shower head kept falling down.
They can arrange a paid shuttle to the airport - $8pp or alternatively one can take the Skygate free service from the shopping center but be aware that it does not run on weekends or after 6pm weekdays.
All in all another wonderful stay at Novotel Brisbane airport. We will be back.

We booked on the same day and got a reasonable price. Car parking is $25 and I was apprehensive because some posts mentioned it’s very tight. They relate to the entry, inside the car park is regular sized. I parked near the elevator, no problem. The room was big and had 2 sinks, excellent for teenagers. Breakfast staff were pleasant and nothing seemed to be a problem. It was our second stay; wouldn’t hesitate to stay a third time.

As the travellers above have said, about the $30 ish Mark. Again ours was included in the room rate. A tip for you. Order a barista coffee as you enter the breakfast restaurant, much nicer than the filter stuff brewing away at the counter.

Hi there, We do have a shuttle service but it operates between 5am-9am and then again at 5pm-9pm. The best way to the hotel at that time of a night is by taxi which will only cost between $15-$20. We look forward to welcoming you to the hotel.
