Apartment was very good but our bedding configuration was altered the day before we arrived with an email, not very clear detail and on ringing the phone was went unanswered. The receptionist did not know hat to do when we complained re the layout and didn’t seem to understand what we were saying. She was not confident and hard to understand. All that said the apartment and furniture were excellent and would stay again.
Our 5 night stay in a 1 bed apartment with balcony on Level 14 was very enjoyable. Reception were friendly and there is on site car parking if required. The apartment was well kitted out, the bed comfortable and the balcony with full sliding doors made for an additional attractive space that had views out over Musgrave Park. Good quality free wifi plus foxtel tv. Sadly, didn't have time to experience the rooftop pool area. No noise issues, apart from a rooftop party in the neighbouring complex, but they finished up relatively early anyway. A few small negatives to report. Some minor maintenance needed to some room fittings, TV not full HD, rubbish shute was u/s on departure day and sofa had a small stain of some description. Overall however, we thought Opera was sensational value for money (booked through Agoda), for such a central and convenient location.…
We stayed in a 2-bed city view apartment and loved it - the apartment was clean and modern and stocked all we needed. The staff were amazing- super friendly, nothing was too hard - really made our stay!!
After reading the excellent reviews, I went ahead and booked 2 nights in a 2 bed, 2 bathroom apt. The location, view, pool area and parking included was great. The main complaint was the first impressions, as you leave the lift the carpet was quite tired and mats grotty. It should be noted that most of the block seems to be permanently rented. On arrival at Unit 808, the lounge and dining chairs were really tired and stained. The TV in lounge was quite small and no TV in bedroom. Kitchen had no fruit/ salad bowl just the minimum crockery and cutlery. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for, but moving from Novotel to Opera, I couldn’t help but feel disappointed. It didn’t help that the first few hours of our stay was spent with the receptionist (Abbey? Was very helpful) followed by technicians trying to get the wifi working. We went on to enjoy our stay, but Opera apartments (well apt 808) are definitely not as they look on the website, and not Novotel or Meriton standard! …
We stayed here for 5 nights over the new year. The apartments are very spacious and clean. We arrived after hours and it wasn’t very clear to get into the car park but we made it in the end! The very restricted reception hours made it quite difficult to get extra toiletries and towels etc as the rooms don’t get serviced but we always got more when we did ask. The rooftop pool and bbq area is lovely! We used the pool several days and used the bbq on a few evenings. The view is fab and is a great place to relax at night. Would certainly recommend these apartments and we would definitely stay again. They are in a great location we walked to the parklands, central Brisbane and even fortitude valley from here!
We stayed in a 2brm city view suite on the 14th floor with the most spectacular views and it lived up to everything that I thought it would be! Excellent customer service, large spacious apartments with the most beautiful luxurious toiletries and bedding, the towels were heavy cotton and really fluffy, the bathrooms were beautifully fitted with modern lighting and the Netflix was appreciated by my three kids! Really convenient location, walk to the markets, west end and eateries and the river along Southbank. Free secure parking and the rooftop pool area was fantastic. We would 100% come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for the most stay!
Everything was great from the view of the city on the large balcony to the spacious, clean apartment. The manager Shaun personally helped me sort out Internet issues I had connecting to work as I was stranded there from the Coronavirus pandemic. It’s a great place to be if you don’t want to be right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of downtown but still close to the river and nice restaurants and shops. Only suggestion I have is to add some more silverware to the apartment because we had to wash it very often by hand. Giving this a five and we didn’t even get to use the pool or rooftop terrace....
Stayed 2 nights at opera apartments for work related weekend. Very clean and quite and also close to loads of dinning areas in west end or Southbank. Asked for early check in and was impressed to get an upgrade as well. Rooms are quite large and also had a balcony. Parking was included in the room cost and is very easy to park even with a large vehicle. There’s a Gym across the road from the hotel that’s included also. The unit is Well appointed and fully self contained. Would highly recommend Opera Apartments for Business or Holiday accommodating in Brisbane.
Amazingly clean, nice furnitures and appliances, kind staff and beautiful pool & bbq area. It was nice and quiet even at night. Reasonable price considering parking is included. Location is good if you stay in south bank. I’d love to stay here again when i visit Brisbane next time
Stayed with my family of 5 (kids 12yr, 10 yr, and 7yr). Very helpful staff and nice and clean modern building. It includes even a secure park lot, dish washer, insuite laudary and dryer machines. Large kitchen two bathrooms.
