Our second stay at an Ovolo and as thoroughly enjoyable as the first. We were comfortable and we were looked after. The atmosphere is upbeat and the smiles genuine. The bats in the fig tree below our window were an unexpected bonus. fully recommended.
Its so easy to relax at this amazing boutique hotel, just around the corner from Darling Harbour. In all of the boutique hotels in the world, this one we can very definitely say is the best!. The hotel is a converted woollen mill, and the...More
My friends and I stayed here for 2 nights. We came to Sydney to see the Charlie and The Chocolate Factory Musical. The staff had selected that music to be playing in our rooms on our arrival, nice touch! All the staff and especially Michaela...More
Steeped in history, Ovolo 1888 Darling Harbour was tastefully restored and thoughtfully designed with shutter-happy Instagrammers in mind, providing photo opportunities around every corner so captivating that …Moreyou really need #nofilter. Originally constructed as a wool store and factory in 1888, the building still bears the original signage of its birth year, visible from the busy streets of Pyrmont. A heritage listed 90-bedroom boutique hotel as well as bar & event space, Ovolo 1888 Darling Harbour brings together Sydney's old world charm and contemporary design with Ovolo's service culture to offer a truly mind-blowing experience in modern hospitality. The collection of rooms each boast 3-metre high ceilings, exposed brick walls, original ironbark beams, concealed uplighting, huge sound proofed period windows, recycled timber work stations, bespoke furniture and feature walls in each room flaunting the colourfully commissioned pieces by celebrated local artist, Jasper Knight. Ovolo 1888 Darling Harbour is located in Sydney's inner-city suburb of Pyrmont, neighbouring Darling Harbour, Sydney CBD, Sydney Fish Market, Sydney Exhibition & Convention Centre, The Star, a wide selection of must-go bars & dining options, and the very best boutique shopping this side of the Southern Hemisphere. Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

Hey there! We certainly do have lifts up to our floors but one floor has stairs. Please let us know what name you are staying under so that we can ensure that you are not allocated on this floor. Also suggest that you don't reserve a loft room as they have narrow stairs up to the bedroom. I hope this helps!
