With an eye for modern design whilst reflective of past, the 200 guest suites that make up the QT Sydney hotel have been carefully crafted within the historic Gowings and State theatre buildings. This boutique Sydney accommodation retains many of the buildings most distinctive features, such as the blend of gothic, art deco, and Italian architecture that form the dazzling exterior of the building. With a contemporary and, at times, quirky design, all guestrooms feature creature comforts such as luxurious bedding, high-speed internet, walk-in showers and most guest suites also offer an indulgent oversized soaking tub. The lower levels of this truly designer Sydney Hotel will retain a historical allure but be the home of Sydney’s hottest new bar Gilt Lounge and Gowings Bar & Grill. FEATURES: 200 designer guest rooms. Gowings Bar & Grill, Gilt Lounge, Parlour Lane Roasters, spaQ – luxurious day spa, also open to the public, Private dining and events, 24-hour room service

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

Service was poor from pretty much poor all around. Concierge, reception, gowings bar and breakfast. All the staff thought they were too cool for school. The worst was the room. They need an upgrade. Dirty, gloomy, and not well maintained. Poor all around

An experience from the minute you walk in. Be taken into a funky world of fun, with exceptional service and amazing facilities. The rooms are well styled on both sides of the building, with high attention to detail. Never leave the building with a great Spa, sophisticated bar

Totally funky space, great bath, super comfy beds. Room service response time good. Bookings staff not particularly responsive-a few issues. We were in a junior suite and whilst we only stayed one night, we would be comfortable in this space for a week. Too location for

If we don’t want to valet, what is the best address to park? Thanks Dianne
The best place to park is QVB, as it is just around the corner from the Hotel. However I’d check the timings and prices for overnight etc. It can be pretty $$$ in Sydney, so sometimes it worth paying for valet.

If I recall it’s a very short walk to Pitt street mall

hi! are the tvs in the rooms enabled for hdmi, screen mirroring, or usb? thank you
I’m not sure because I didn’t needed it. But I believe they might do considering it is a modern contemporary hotel.

Not sure, wouldn't fit one in the room we had. The kids weren't on our mind!
