The location, rooms and staff are all perfection. We travelled with our one year old and felt so safe and walked everywhere - we never felt the location was ‘dodge’ at all. The train station is a short pleasant walk away giving easy access to the city and always felt busy and safe.
The rooms are absolutely spotless, beds very comfortable and furnishings all in great condition. The cleaning staff do a wonderful job.
The staff are the biggest stand out. Every single staff member was so accommodating and friendly. Any requests we had (eg extra towels or clothes hoist) were actioned immediately and enthusiastically by staff. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Australia and never received such outstanding service.
Terracotta is also very convenient with great breakfast options and great coffee. The staff here were also very lovely!
I’m generally quite picky with accommodation and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we visit Sydney.

We used this hotel at the very last minute after dramas with our previously booked accommodation. Even though we only gave them about 30mins notice the room was still personalized and the staff were incredibly gracious and willing to meet our needs. The location was fantastic and the room and grounds were nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. A really charming place to stay. The price was the only down side (Taylor Swift weekend) but would be a good deal at the regular price from what I saw.

What a beautiful well maintained hotel. The minute you step inside you are hit with the most delightful smell. As you walk through you find friendly staff that are there to assist you with helpful suggestions for dinning and activities . Beautiful court yards and gorgeous rooms. The room I stayed in was spotless, the décor was perfectly maintained and age appropriate (there were pictures on the walls of the area when it was younger) . The bed was so lush, the pillows were like clouds and I did not want to get up.
The hotel gives off a family vibe , it is apparent that they have spent a lot of time finding the right staff to fit their hotel. Every staff member I came across gave me a friendly greeting and asked if they could assist me with anything.
I'd particularly like to give a mention to Pat for his great smile and helpful directions and Juliana for the time they spent talking with me about the history of the hotel. You guys should be extremely proud of the little bit of homely paradise you have created in the middle of a bustling city.

This is the second time we have stayed at Adina Chippendale but the first time since their renovations. We loved the pool (perfect after a 5 hour bike tour around Sydney) and courtyard area with music, beanbags and outdoor games.It felt like we were in an exclusive getaway, an oasis from the bustle of Sydney. We stayed midweek and were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment. Thankyou, and the beds were so comfortable! There was even a personalised message of welcome on the TVs and the daily servicing of our rooms including tea and coffee top up and fresh towels. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to the Redfern Train Staion - even with our luggage; and the Seymour Centre is only 2 minutes away (renown for its reasonably priced and innovative shows).

We absolutely loved our stay, every request was accommodated, the staff were so friendly and always available. Our 2 bedroom apartment luckily faced the city so we had amazing views day and night. Everything was so clean and homely, we really made the room our home away from home. The pool and gym we're easily accessible and always tidy. The location of the apartments to Redfern station was only a short walk - downhill from and uphill to. It's only 1 stop from Central so you're there in no time. There is so many eating options nearby, the area is very vegetarian and vegan friendly with a shopping centre only a 10 minute stroll away. There is carparking available on site for a fee.

The location is nearby the uni and student accommodation that our child attends which was important. Additionally, it is within walking distance to a couple of malls, public transportations including the Redfern train station, and many dining spots from affordable to a more premium option. The room was clean, well-lit with interior design that appealed to us. Another thing that we appreciated was that the room came with a washer & dryer which was great for our extended stay.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights on a stopover in Sydney before flying to New Zealand. From the time we arrived to the time we were left it was faultless. We arrived earlier than the stated check in time but the guy on reception was so welcoming he advised us that our room wasn’t quite ready but did all the paperwork and told us he would text or call when it was. The reception was clean, smelt lovely and they had fresh fruit infused water. He took our luggage and sorted everything. He called us as promised and when we returned he advised he had already taken our luggage up to the apartment for us. The apartment itself was everything we needed. Spacious but cosy and perfect for two people. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need and had a lovely coffee machine. The bathroom was fully stocked with the loveliest toiletries including shampoo and conditioner. The attention to detail was just amazing, from a mini sowing kit, the shower caps, flannels. We didn’t need for anything. The water was hot but lacked a little pressure for our preference but it was still great for a girl with thick hair to wash. The location was perfect for us, a 10 minute walk to Redfern train station. We also caught an Uber to darling harbour which was 10 minutes in the car. The place is just fantastic and I couldn’t say any more great things about this place. An added bonus is the coffee shop and cafe right door, the food is delicious and opens at 7am so perfect for an early start! Overall it was perfect 10/10

My stay at the Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Chippendale was fantastic. I was welcomed with open arms as soon as I got there. I was delighted to be given a complimentary upgrade, and when I was shown my suite besides the pool, I was astounded by how exquisite and lovely the accommodations and amenities were. I no longer felt as though I was in Sydney on a work trip; instead, I felt as though I was on a tropical vacation. The atmosphere was both cosy and soothing.
The staff provided fantastic customer service and were very friendly. I also ordered breakfast room service, and the server was very courteous, timely, and careful with the food.
Overall, wonderful experience and I intent to stay here in the future.

My wife and I travel to Sydney very regularly. We are currently doing a design job in Chippendale and recently decided to not return to the Old Clare after a bad experience. Having stayed at Adina previously and having enjoyed the A by Adina in the city, we decided to give this one a go. The reviews on there are glorious and that gave us confidence. However, the location, the online photos and the overall experience were disappointing. The location is more Redfern than Chippendale and the area is a bit dodge. The photos online are very flattering but the place look very dull in reality. The hotel although according to the staff is only 3 years old, it has aged badly and the furniture is already shabby. The pool is TINY (there are bigger bath tubs than that) the service was average but at mid 200’s dollars, I guess you get what you pay for. The quality of this motel is not reflective of the reviews. We won’t be returning again.

The room was spacious, clean and modern. It was very quiet and I easily accessed my streaming services. Service was friendly and helpful. The location was close to restaurants and cafes but not on a main road so there was no traffic noise. Highly recommend.
