Sydney Park Hyatt is a hotel in a class all of its own. From the moment you pull up to the moment you leave, you feel important, cared for, valued. The staff are always ready to assist with answers to even the most basic of questions. They address adolescents as people and not as ornaments to the parents. My teenager had a very lengthy and productive conversation with a staff member about shopping routes and clothing stores that fit her needs. I was impressed by the attention and respect he gave her. It represents the Park Hyatt's ability to hire and train their staff to meet the needs of their customers.
The facilities at the Park Hyatt are incredible. Our room overlooked the Opera House and was well stocked and sparkling clean. The bed was impeccably made and remade each day we were there and the room tidied to the ninth degree. Even the smudge prints on the mirrored closet were wiped clean daily. Now that's attention to detail.
The breakfast buffet is spectacular!! Again, the staff are eager to fulfill your desire wish with a smile and a 'can do' attitude. Our daughter is GF/DF and they went way beyond to make her dishes specifically for her dietary allergies without making her feel bad about asking for something special. And because it is for in house guests only, you never feel rushed. It is by far the best breakfast I have eaten at a hotel venue in Australia.
Finally, although the Park Hyatt can be more expensive than other hotels, the quality of the service, rooms, beds, dining and location justifies its price point. You will not regret staying at the Park Hyatt Sydney; you will, however, regret when it's time to leave :)

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a three night staycation. Everything was perfect. Our room (318) had a lovely view of view of Circular Quay and the balcony was a nice spot to relax. Our room was large, comfortable and had a good sized dining table and lounges
Breakfast every morning offered a fabulous selection of delicious foods with great coffee and an amazing view
We got room service a couple of times which was very good and was great value
We enjoyed the spa on the rooftop and even had a brush with fame when we ran into two very famous actors
Service was exceptional and everyone we met was friendly and professional
The location of the hotel is great and we enjoyed exploring our beautiful city. We hope to return very soon

The best hotel in Sydney! Amazing location - great views but still nice and quiet. Room was spacious and luxurious. In room breakfast each day was delicious
On the downside it is very expensive. And due to covid19 most on-site facilities were closed: pool, spa, restaurant etc

Rooms at the Park Hyatt are very expensive but we all know you are paying for the excellent Opera House views and service. I booked the Opera House View Deluxe for my wife's 60th birthday but the room I got was at the end of the hall with the bed facing the street not the Opera House and a huge tree was in front of the 2nd window. Not the view you see when you book the room!

Both days there was a huge cruise ship docked in front that blocked partial view of the Opera House and they don't tell you that when booking or check-in.

Service was not up to par for a 5 Star hotel. We returned to room at 3:30pm and room had not yet been cleaned. When they cleaned the room they left the breakfast room service so I had to call again to have somebody else remove the dishes. Plus other examples of service not up to par for a 5 Star property at these prices.

The Park Hyatt in Sydney was a “bucket list” item for me, but after my first stay there, it’s become my “go to” hotel in Sydney when the budget allows. I have stayed there on a yearly basis since that first visit, and it never disappoints.

My most recent visit was in March this year, just as the pandemic was taking hold of the country. This time around, I was traveling with a group of five (three of whom were staying at the Intercontinental) We arrived at the Park Hyatt immediately upon arriving in Australia, and we were thrilled that our room was available before 10am, so that we could all take a shower before heading out for the day to do some sightseeing.

This visit was just a one-night stay, but the hotel didn’t disappoint. We had a Harbor view room, and could see the Opera House from the balcony (on previous visits, I’ve been fortunate to have an Opera View deluxe room with the two balconies.

Thanks, Marc and staff for your welcoming hospitality - I’m looking forward to coming back, and I think I’ll need a new bucket list item - staying in one of your 4th floor suites is on the list now!

Unfortunately we stayed during covid 19, so the hotel was not able to operate at full capacity so there was a really empty lonely feeling in the hotel as few guests were
allowed. However we booked a room with a view of the Opera House which was
lovely even though there is noise coming from the ferries coming into Circular Quay.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from ferries, trains, buses and light rail and
more to the Opera House. The food was disappointing, but I make allowances as
it was covid time. The hotel on the other side of the water, the Pullman Quay Grand
is better value as they provide full apartments, closer to everything, only 2 mins
from Opera House and not as expensive. I would advise checking into the
Quay Grand for better value with more benefits, i.e. a full apartment with laundry,
kitchen, lounge, bedroom overlooking the gorgeous Botanical Gardens for a
quiet experience.

We only had one night at Park Hyatt and wish we had more. First of all the location is spectacular with views of the opera house and harbor bridge. Check in was seamless though I thought it was a bit odd that they made a big deal that our room was ready when we arrived at 4:30 PM and check in time was much earlier. The room and beds were very comfortable and tasteful and invoked a peacefulness. Our baggage arrived easily. The toilet seat was heated though there was a dead mosquito on the toilet cover. All and all a lovely hotel with great location and service!

We thoroughly enjoyed our summer staycation for two nights in the beautiful harbour front location. All the staff were so welcoming, friendly and professional and always smiling. The rooms, facilities and dining areas were very well maintained and we enjoyed the rooftop pool and wonderful hosting by Titus to ensure we all had ice cold water and refreshments on a very hot summer day. Opera view rooms and the outdoor balcony are fantastic to sit for hours watching the world go by day and night. Sunrise behind the opera house is well worth the early wake up. Hoping to visit again soon as this was just the perfect relaxing long weekend we needed!

We moved here after a disastrous stay in another hotel. The staff are fantastic, helping, friendly. The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and fully equipped, and are kept clean and tidy while you are out. During dinner the maid tidies your room changes any towels used. Leaves water etc.

The evening menu is limited but the quality is first rate. There is also a lounge for meals less formal but the service is very friendly. Also they can accommodate some orders not on the menu. I asked for a pina collada which was not on their list of cocktails and they made one for me.

You can book tours from their concierge, we went to the Blue Mountains.

Breakfast is good but they give you a small amount of butter, so ask for more !

It’s an expensive hotel, but you get what you pay for, this is the best hotel in Sydney

Probably the only Sydney Harbour 5-star hotel where every room has a balcony overlooking either the Opera House or city and harbour. It is a lot more expensive than other 5-star hotels in Sydney 'with a view', but in my view worth it for the once in a lifetime experience or a special occasion. It is best to book directly with the hotel, and there are discounts for Hyatt members (it is worth while joining), seniors etc.
The hotel has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and great service.
Just sitting on the balcony after a busy day sightseeing, and watching the boats and ships and ferries go by is an unforgettable experience.

You could see the fireworks no problem around the back of the hotel is green space. However you’ll be sharing it with a million people. Best you go to the hotel pool the view would be wonderful there and fewer crowds.
