My husband and I stayed at this hotel on a Friday night after work, We were warmly welcomed on arrival although check-in via a kiosk was also an option. The room was very cleverly designed to maximise comfort within a small space and it had everything (including a hand held steamer) that was needed for an enjoyable stay. The bathroom was also very nice and I loved the fragrance of the shower gel/shampoo/conditioner. Breakfast the next morning had a lovely atmosphere and although not extensive, the menu offered something for everyone. I would not hesitate to stay again.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel on recent trip. We selected this hotel as it is close to the the venues for thearte and muscical performances we had booked and within walking distance of the CBD (15 - 20 minutes)

Check in was smooth and efficient and there is a self serve reservation desk if reception is unattended. Decor is modern and clean throughout public areas. The room we booked was small but well equiped and inexpensive. We tend to book cheaper rooms as we don't spend a lot of time in them. The shower had good water pressure and hot water and hand wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner supplied, which were avialable for purchase.

The sleeping area had a wall mounted TV facing the bed, a telephone and clock on a small bedside table and a nook for the bar fridge and tea/cofffee facilities. Storage was adequate with some hanging space and two draws, one containg a personal safe. Beneath the TV was a small ledge which we used to store small items but we used the window sills for larger objects like kobo readers, tablets and head phones.

There are no chairs in this type of room but the hotel provides to comfortable lounges in reception.

There is a breakfast/dinner area on the ground floor along with a bar and coffee shop which provides breakfast from 6am onwards and coffee and bar service until 10am. At 10 the front doors are locked and access is via the room key.

I highly recommend this hotel if staying in Darling Harbour. There are resturants of various standards close by, a Coles supermarket and bottle shop within a block and across the Pyrmont bridge a range of tourist attractions suitable for a family.

If you want to relax in your room, travelling with children or staying longer I suggest booking a larger room than the one we booked (standard double)

What a great location. Easy access to Darling Harbour precinct and Barangaroo. We had an event at the ICC theatre and the walk was quick and easy. All the staff were friendly and happy to help. The room is smallish but well designed with great seating area under window. Dyson hairdryers in the room were a big treat, spring and still water stations on each floor was handy on such a hot weekend. Breakfast downstairs had a good range on menu. The granola and yoghurt bowl was really good. Would definitely stay again.

Centrally located right near Star City casino and Pyrmont bridge walkway over to Cockle Bay and Barangaroo, this delightful boutique hotel has everything you need. Although the rooms are quite compact, ours was comfortable and very well laid out. We stayed in an ‘easy access’ room which had a larger bathroom for those requiring disability access.
The staff at the Aiden really made our stay enjoyable. There was nothing they couldn’t organise. A special thanks to Suzuka and Samuel.
Breakfast (which was included in our package) was huge and delicious! Even if you have to purchase breakfast it is well worth it.
Parking is right across the road and there is a 50% discount offered by the hotel. Make sure you organise at hotel desk. Light rail is a few minutes walk away.
Thanks Aiden Hotel, we will definitely be back.

This was a quick overnight trip. The hotel was in a central local with walking distance to darling harbour dining and the city. Check in was quite easy with 2 kiosk where you can check self check in and it even gives you the room key.

I stayed in a mural view room. It is really small but that was ok for me as it an overnight trip. The bathroom was a good size and modern. The room had a pod coffee machine with different pod strength coffee to choose from.

One thing I found convenient was that on every level there is a free flowing sparkling and a still water tap. So it is included and you can refill whenever you want. I found this better than a bottle in the mini fridge because once you run out of that you have to either refill it in the tap or go to reception. So having something just outside your room to refill from is very helpful.

My booking included breakfast. Be aware that if you get included breakfast it is not a buffet, instead is table service and you get to choose 1 meal and 1 drink. This happens right in the lobby where there are some table.s There is no restaurant per se. Otherwise if you don’t have breakfast included you can just choose from a menu like you would in any restaurant. The menu options were good including anything from eggs on toast to eggs Benedict and avocado toast. I believe you can see prices online.

Overall It was a good stay and I would recommend it. Just be aware of the length of your stay and the room size you pick + the included breakfast being 1 meal and 1 drink rather than a buffet as it is at most other hotels. I think for Aiden this may be more due to not having the physical space to run a Buffett breakfast.

Excellent place to stay. Close to all transport. We purchased Opal seniors passes /card and it only cost us a total of $15.00 each on all the public transport for the 9 days. Went for Vivid Syney and drove from Melbourne but did not use the car once. Most places were in walking distance even for us oldies. Staff were always happy and obliging. City view room was small but was OK for the 2 of us for 9 days. Enough room to store our cases etc. We were on floor 3 and had a view of the city exactly as picured on the web site. Not sure about the lower rooms view as there was a big tree at the front of the building. A small work area and lounge located adjacent to the breakfast / dining area was useful if you needed to do some work. Breakfast menu was not extensive but adequate for most people with both hot and cold available and reasonably priced. Snacks were available all day. The coffee was good. Room was clean with tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was a good size and I give it 9/10 for cleanliness. We thought this place was a bit of a hidden gem and would definitely stay again. We would have liked to hire bikes as there are numerous bike trails and the electric bike hire is easy but most of the bikes had no helemts. We recommend taking your own helmet if you wish to casual hire a bike.

We had booked the two balcony rooms on the 6th floor which were lovely. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of room for all our luggage. The breakfast was also very nice.
However, we did have a cockroach problem which the staff didn’t seem to take seriously. We spotted some while having an evening drink on our balcony. On heading down to report it to reception we found a dead cockroach by the lift. One of the receptionists came back up to have a look and said she would bring some spray back with her. Two hours later she still hadn’t returned so we went back to reception to be given a can of spray to DIY! Part of the issue was getting the receptionist to understand what we were asking for. Language was definitely an issue during our stay although the staff were very pleasant. Having emailed the manager on our return he has assured me that there had been a misunderstanding and that the problem would be addressed with the staff concerned. We appreciate that these creatures are a part of Australian life but just feel that action should have been taken immediately.
That said, I would still recommend the hotel situated very close to beautiful Darling Harbour.

This boutique-style hotel is ideally located in the tourist-friendly heart of Darling Harbour. The staff are lovely and have a great sense of humour. The breakfast has a good range of vegan options and the bar has plenty of wines, beers and spirits to choose from. The hotel is very reasonably priced, considering the location. Main downside is that the rooms, whilst looking great and having one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, are very small and not really suitable for stays of more than a few days at a time. The toilet roll and coffee pods are rarely replenished, but reception will help you with that when asked. WiFi is temperamental in the lobby but good in the rooms.

Travelling with an elderly disabled father it was essential that we needed an accessible bathroom for wheelchair access. This was the main reason for choosing Aiden. The rooms are very compact with the majority of rooms having the bed pushed up by a wall which is difficult for a couple. However rooms 406 and 506 are designed the same and thankfully had just enough room for the bed to be moved away from the wall to allow my elderly mum to get out of bed easily. The accessible bathroom was superb and did not disappoint at all. I had a room opposite my parents and it was perfect for a lone traveller as the room was compact. The strength of this hotel is the team that work here. Nothing was too much trouble, they even sometimes helped get my father into taxis. Their customer service skills were superb. We had breakfast every morning and the quality was always excellent. If we return to Sydney this will definitely be where we will stay again. With Darling Harbour just across the road we were able yo catch a Ferry from Pymont Bay to Circular Quay with great ease with wheelchair access. Thank you to everyone at Aiden you all helped make our stay such a special one.

The space is beautiful. I treated myself to their most premium room for my bday. Overall the stay was wonderful. The views are spectacular and unmatchable of the darling harbour. The little nuances and detailing in the room makes it feel very personal. The mural on the wall, the fixtures in the room. The Dysom products and beautifully aromatic toiletries. However on the down side. I get we are living in a post covid world, so minimal interactions are best. However the front staff whenever around, weren’t the most courteous. Another big flaw was while the breakfast was nice, the option were severely limited. So if you are staying longer, opt for option with no breakfast. But the biggest drawback has to be that there was a power failure in the city in parts where the hotel is located. I’m used to having some light when sleeping, and woke up to complete darkness at 3am! The hotel had no basic power back up for a single light inside the room. And the room got stuff really soon. Due to the hotel having no front desk staff post 10pm, there was an emergency number listed and when contacted it went unanswered. So not really a dependable option there too.
