Was an okay place to stay, very close to the hub of Potts Point and walkable into the CBD; quiet enough, staff were friendly and there was a small kitchenette for some basic cooking. Washing and drying facilities too. There was a rooftop terrace, but smokers seemed to hang out up there, which is not our thing. Our main gripe is having gotten back home and checked our bank account, found a $40 charge for parking. We hired a car for one day and beforehand, merely had a conversation with a gentleman on reception, but found free parking in nearby streets, so never pursued. They never asked us either, so nothing was signed, no key card was issued. Nada. Yet they took this extra payment on check-out with our card on the system and didn't provide us with any check-out paperwork. On challenging them and providing photos of where we actually parked, they still won't refund us.

A nice welcome at reception on arrival. Reception is bright and modern and there the loveliness of the hotel stops! Our room. Ground floor room 110 2 adults 6 nights Jan 2023 to see the sights of Sydney on a 3 month tour of Oz and Nz What a tiny room & even a smaller bathroom, getting into the bathroom and closing the door is difficult, I've never actually seen such a small bathroom. We could just get our luggage in to room and couldn't unpack much as, no storage, only 4 hangers!😱🤷♀️ No drawers for clothes at all. TV in a stupid place, way too high on wall. Only 1 bedside table & lamp. Such a limited space between bed, I don't know how many times I banged my feet on something, the main culprit was the shower base, bruised and cut 2 toes impossible to get in and out of bathroom without a lot of difficulty put a towel on floor over sharp shower base edge in the end. Actually opening the fridge is difficult due to space. Mirrors, don't make it look bigger and are annoying looking at yourself all the time. Definitely did not look this small on photos before booking it's advertised as studio, but the comfy bed & cleanliness are the only good things about it. Housekeeping: supposed to be daily, except Sunday, it wasn't, they came in twice in our 6 night stay, tea etc not topped up. Had to ask for more milk. We had our own tea bags. Bin was overflowing when finally emptied twice. Asked for sink plug to be fixed on first morning as it wouldn't come up to empty water, it was pulled up then wouldn't go down again, so could not fill sink with water to wash or shave, water wasted having to leave it running to wash/shave. We stayed because we couldn't afford to loose the money already paid but we were very disappointed 😞 it's like tiny student accommodation at universities or a caravan, and the price does not reflect this, NOT worth the price paid. Would not recommend this hotel, you can do better, search around more wish I had 🤔🙄 On check out, there were 4 guests in reception, telling the receptionists how nice their room was and how they loved the hotel. OMG wish we had their room. So disappointed 😞

Stayed for four nights and the hotel was in a good location. Not overly clean Our biggest problem is the lack of customer service After staying we noted that they had double charged us. On phoning we were asked to send an email with proof of the over $2000 charge This was not followed up in their end. On phoning them again I was basically told I was wrong and they had no record…. Another email was sent to the manager who also didn’t respond. Several calls have been made and asked for a return call. Still waiting. Our only option it seems is consumer affairs What a disappointment Don’t use this hotel unless you want to run the risk of being overcharged and no liability on their part!

We recently booked two rooms for a family holiday at Sydney Potts Point Central Apartment Hotel. The booking arrangements were completed using QANTAS Hotels on their own Web Site in December 2023. A deposit was charged to my preferred Credit Card for both rooms.
We then extended our stay by an extra day and my Wife made this booking for two rooms on her Credit Card.
In October 2024, QANTAS sent confirmation and a paid in full invoice to our e-mail advising the full account had been settled. During our stay, the credit card used for the booking and a drivers licence details were placed on record. There were no issues at the time.
On the day of departure, we observed that my Wife's Credit Card had been charged for the same accommodation that we had paid for in full via QANTAS.
Six phone calls and three e-mail attempts later, we are still being given the run-around by Sydney Potts Point Central Apartment Hotel. They are refusing to have their Manager call to remedy this issue.
Our Bank has been made aware and we are about to work through Fair Trade NSW.
Use this hotel at your peril.

We only required a nice clean room for a one night stay in a location close to where we needed to be,and this hotel fit the bill entirely. The room was very clean and neat, very well appointed, quiet, warm, and the bed very confortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The parking is off site however very close by under another hotel, and the $30.00 parking fee totally acceptable for the convenience.

Sadly enough, when undoing our booking Sydney Potts Point Central Apartment Hotel do not wanna comply to the cancellation fee that we have received with the booking confirmation. So now we have to involve Booking.com. How sad, that was is already unfortunate becomes a nightmare. And further, when cancelling the wrote back to me, that I was being rude.... Well, that's certainly a different style of customer service.

100% not what was advertised. Bathroom s are soooo tiny had to switch rooms. Carpets dirty and when asked receptionist she said “it’s not a full service hotel and we don’t vacuum I guess ever. Another guest at reception asked the same thing. Just terrible for the $175 I was paying.
Also safe didnt work and when asked about that the receptionist said “ oh they are selling the building so not fixing anything “
Yeah seriously don’t bother staying at this joint at least until they fix everything oh an my room has a tiny 20 inch Tele Oh and view is a crack house next door… David r from Singapore

Didnt get room i booked which meant i couldnt sleep with my 3 children in same room and considering the trip was organised to have a family night away after the loss of the kids mum it was crushing. Was advised can have adjoining rooms until we reached the rooms that were not next to each other but down the hall.. Not offered any kind of softener just accept it and move on! Apparently parking deal with hotel down the street to park there but hotel declining guests from Central hotel due to not enough spots?? Samsung tv in room had no channels no volume.. in summary tv just didnt function.. Windows only had 3 inches open space with no screens meaning the little distance they actually opened allowed mosquitos and flies to enter the room.. Great location is all!

Location is super convenient, only 5 minute walk to King Cross station. Only bad thing was you get what you pay for. Small room, mould in the shower, filter in air con was filthy and a stain on the sheet . Also was an odd smell in the room that I couldn’t get rid of.

Room was tiny with poor design features and not enough space for two to move about the place and no space around the kettle and fridge, very claustrophobic. Noisy and strong smell from room. Housekeeping not as advertised, dismissed when queried front desk. Girl on reception tried to be helpful, however.
