On arrival, dealing with the front desk was professional and supportive. Our room was quite small, the beds were comfy and it felt like the walls were quite thin for the noise we had overnight. We had an air conditioner that made a lot of funny noises through the night. We also realised that there were no towels which I thought that Hotels had. There were signs on the wall saying about towels
The place is ok , parking is tight and limited, staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are ok could do with upgrade , apart from staff who I would give a 4/5 the whole hotel just needs a lock of paint and touch ups
Friendly helpful staff, clean hotel and rooms. Everything that was needed to have an enjoyable stay. Even with the downpour, I was able to get to the pool side bar dry. Thank you for your help and assistance.
Based on how this hotel advertises itself on its website, I was expecting a high class hotel & conference centre where I would feel safe and satisfied as a young woman staying on her own. What I was met with, was anything but. I’m not sure how this hotel is advertised as a hotel, it’s a 2 story motel at best. Upon arrival I was checked in by a lovely lady on the reception desk and couldn’t fault her helpful customer service. Though the establishment itself hadn’t lived up to what I expected, she was 1 of 2 staff members throughout the duration of my stay that were lovely. I found my way to the room I was allocated and was greeted by a great, clean little room for my stay. What took me by surprise however, was the amount of people who seemed to be permanently occupying most of the rooms. While I understand that there is a massive housing issue, & this certainly didn’t bother me, what did bother me was those residents total lack of consideration for the hotel itself and all other paying customers, guests and residents. They left their room doors open to the corridor which was already very echoey and were very noisey- my first night this lasted all night to the point where I actually had to turn a white noise sound on my phone to drown them out so I could sleep. Something I’ve never done before. Awful smells would also woft out from these rooms into the hallway. My second night was better however I was surprised when a woman who seemed to be hanging around outside waiting at the 24 hour door for an opportunity to get into the building as she had no key card to get in was so easily let in by other residents after I’d refused to open the door with my key card for her. I found that to be quite a major safety issue that needs to be addressed. On my final morning I was awoken before 7am by a male in the parking lot aggressively verbally abusing a young woman holding a baby whom I presumed to be his partner and were both staying as permanent residents. It was absolutely disgusting behaviour and should not be tolerated by the premises. Due to the fact that NO ONE came to her rescue nor staff members came to address the scene, it must be a regular occurrence. It’s not good enough. Overall the only positive was a male housekeeper who helped me open my door after my key card stopped working before my check out time and the staff member as mentioned in the beginning. Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, Infact I would advise against it.…
This was our second visit within a few weeks and we were fortunate to have the same room. Staff have been friendly and helpful. The room is clean and tidy, carpet is worn in a few places but bed is super comfy, Hotel was obviously busy but all was quiet shortly after 10 and we had a great night's sleep. Brilliant choice for friendly service and great facilities.
