The Blue Sea Beach Resort garners applause for its pristine, spacious rooms that boast stunning sea views, although noise and cleanliness can occasionally be a concern. Guests laud the service, citing the staff's warmth and the engaging animation team. While the food and beverage options fail to impress many visitors, the hotel's array of amenities, including multiple pools and a private beach, are often celebrated, despite the challenge of securing a sun lounger.
The cleanliness is generally upheld throughout the resort, but some inconsistencies are pointed out. The atmosphere and location receive a mixed response, though the proximity to attractions and the beach is widely appreciated.

Me and my girlfriend spent 11 nights in this hotel from the end of July to the beginning of August. As a couple in our mid 20’s we found the hotel overall really nice and had a positive stay.
Firstly, as we arrived at the hotel from a late flight into Rhodes we were greeted by the night shift receptionist and he was very helpful and informative when explaining the ins and outs of the hotel. We found that all of the staff were friendly and pleasant throughout our stay which created a very friendly atmosphere.
Our room was a standard room located in the main block of the hotel. The room was very spacious including the balcony, the bathroom was very modern and there was adequate storage available within the room for personal belongings including a free safe for valuables. The room was also very well kept with housekeeping occurring everyday (unless you didn’t want it) this included fresh towels, free bottles of water, beds made etc.
The food included in the buffet was okay, a lot of choice every day however not a lot of differentiation from each previous day. The buffet was also like feeding time at the zoo with no real order to it and people just walking around everywhere. The breakfast buffet in a morning was okay however the cooked breakfast aspect was rather poor. Dinner time and evening meals again a lot of choice but found we were eating the same meals everyday due to lack of differentiation. The Greek À la carte restaurant was amazing and we had a lovely evening. The beach snack bar is also one of the highlights of the food in the hotel with freshly made Gyros, burgers, salads etc.
The all inclusive drinks were quite average too. The local spirits were okay but cocktails were pre mixed and not very flavoursome/strong. The local beer was zythos I think (not mythos) and wasn’t great either.
The hotel is in a great location as it is only a 20/30 minute walk into Faliraki, there are plenty of bus stops for those who can’t/ don’t want to walk that far. It is also quite easy to get to Rhodes town from the hotel whether it be a bus or taxi, we chose taxi which only ended up costing us around €18 for around a 20 minute drive.
Finally, there are two main pools and of course the private beach to choose from. The pools do get quite busy in peak times of the day and can become quite crowded. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool areas however I was waking up around 8am everyday for breakfast and most were “reserved” and by that I mean that the 6am sunbed culture definitely exists in the hotel but we managed.
All in all we would definitely return to the hotel and enjoyed our holiday, just a few small gripes but nothing serious. The area is lovely and recommend seeing as much as the island as you can! Lindos and Antony Quinn bay as well as the old town in Rhodes.

We stayed at Bluesea Beach resort Rhodes for 10 nights all inclusive after having had good experiences staying at other Blusea hotels and we found this to be the best one yet for our needs. The staff in all departments were friendly and obliging, couldn't do enough for us. the food and beverages were good, varied and readily available all day from several different locations with the option to book the very good ala carte restaurant and burger bar once during our stay. The room was spacious, clean and contemporary with free safe, fridge, kettle, tea, coffee and bottled water. It was cleaned and beds were made every day and clean towels supplied every other day or when requested from the cleaners. The private beach deserves its blue flag status and is two minutes walk from the accomodations with ample sun beds and parasols and a fantastic beach bar where there is adequate entertainment every night and beach towels are supplied at no charge. Water sport activities and boat trips can be booked from the adjacent beach. The two swimming pools are clean and well maintained with plenty of sun beds available. There is a shop on site selling all essentials. The location is ideal with stops right outside where you can catch buses to Rhodes old town 30 mins, Falaraki centre 10 mins and Lindos 90 mins. There is also a shopping centre in easy walking distance, a water park a short bus ride away and a small road train which tours around several different areas. We have spent a long time looking for somewhere that we can return to every year and we have finally found it, in fact we have already booked to return this October and again in May next year.

Overall we had a good family holiday. I will try & summaries the holiday we had. Room – we were slightly disappointed when entering the room for the first time. It was very plain, didn’t have much storage, bathroom was very small & no bottles of water given. The actual room was a good size, large king size bed & 2 single beds for the children. Only storage was a wardrobe (only 2 hangers) with 2 drawers & then a couple a storage cubes next to the bed, certainly not enough for a family of 4 staying 2 weeks. Very small corner shower (anyone above average size will struggle). Our room was clean, but not spotless & wasn’t really cleaned proper the whole time we were there (our balcony wasn’t clean on arrival & was never cleaned) Towels refreshed every couple of days & bedding changed frequently. We leant to like our room mainly because of its size & location as was on the ground floor near to main lobby bar & pools. Food – usual AI offering, always found something to eat. The restaurant does get very busy at peak times, & is then very hot. In the evening we started to go down after 8 as it was just too busy before then. Snack bar is good during the day offering a small but good selection of foods. Greek restaurant nice & burger house (which is at the snack bar) nice but not a lot of choice. Drinks – all ok, but nothing to shout about! Fab location with it being on the beach, loved being able to go down to the sea anytime. 30 mins walk into Falaraki or bus stop outside (1.50 for adults 80c for kids) each way. The hotel & grounds are kept very clean. Pool areas good but need to be up early to get shade around the pools. There are plenty of sunbeds stacked up for you to place around. Entertainment the usual games during the day, would be nice for them to do some kids only games as water polo games do get controlled by adults (actually witnessed someone getting a nose bleed during one game!) Didn’t bother with much of the night time entertainment as its held in the amphitheatre with is away slightly from the main hotel, so not near the bar, you sit on concrete so not very comfy & tend to get a sewage small down there. Booked a shower room for the end of our stay, but you actually use the showers in the spa. We were not prepared for this as its split into mens & ladies & had all our clothing etc in one small case. They let us use one of the treatment rooms in the end as this had a shower in (on ideal as low mood lighting) but we managed & then I just used the female area to dry my hair.

We stayed at this property for a week in early July with an 8-year-old girl. Hotel well maintained with excellent maintenance and clean both in the rooms and in the common areas.large pools and various estate bene.disponbilità many free sunbeds both at sea and in piscina.essendo a tourist place for Germans and Poles life begins early in the morning and at 22.45 turn off the music. Rooms with good soundproofing and quiet area, comfortable beds, all newly renovated, spacious shower and bedroom, daily cleaning and towel change. Possibility to have cocktails and children's menus in all buffets and bar.food very varied and good, large presence of onion, plenty of choice for vegan / gluten free. You can not recharge the bottles but they give water in the room every day. Cocktail with local spirits and house wine included in the price but not of high quality.play area on the sand very nice.pool play area with slides for children under 10 years. mini disco at 8.30 pm before the show every night at 9.30 pm. Beautiful entertainment shows in the pool even during the day with artists outside the animation team. possibility to make the main excursions in the island departing by boat directly from the beach. Paid games at sea can be played as early as 8 years. They no longer have kayaks and do not kite and surf in this part of the island because of unfavorable wind. The beach in front of the hotel is the sandy spot with a few pebbles at the entrance to the sea. In front of the other hotels there are boulders and rocks. To find sandy beaches you have to go to other areas between Faliraki and Lindos in beaches where there are no resorts and umbrella costs 20€ per day. Beach towels available with change every 3 days. Great kindness and helpfulness of all staff. In particular thanks to the animation team, they involved both adults and children in all the games, thanks to Francesco, Ivan, Top and the head of animation.

So we just come back from our one week family vacation. Hotel location is perfect, not far from small villages and Rhodes city. Sea is clear and sandy, with little small rocks. Hotel is not too big, but divided to different sections, so for some rooms the elevators are far too away and had to use stairs all the time. And some rooms are below restaurant so all the time was noise form moving chairs. Rooms are small, and doors are thins so all noise comes through. If you have neighbour that smokes, you cannot leave balcony door open. The cleaned room daily, and made the bed, but the floor was still sandy. And only one day I had shower with hot water, all other days it was chilly. Breakfast was always the same, lunch I do not know, as we made for lunch break only once, dinner food varies, but meat was kind of dry all the time. Lots of fruits. There was gluten free food and vegetables. Kids loved pizza. There was many choice of them. Staff was friendly, for exception of one morning, when one chef told me that I cannot take slice of pie without plate?! Really? There was vary of cocktails made from local alcohol. But the alcohol content wasn’t 40. It was about half of it, as they made cocktails half rum or gin and half coke or tonic. The coke and tonic were made of syrup, all the juices as well. So there was no real juice even for Mimosa cocktail. Aperol was also local, so it tasted little bit different. And they did not shake cocktails after pouring them, so there ingredients were in layers. Kind of weird that I had to mix them myself. And what bothers me that one barman put the glasses in front of himself, but not in front of my, so I had to reach them over the bar counter. But over all it was great vacation, sea was warm and very near. There was always sunbeds, although we were annoyed that we are not allowed to move more than two sunbeds to one umbrella, for lifeguard reasons. But there was no lifeguard at all. Pool was freezing cold. And about cleaning, they cleaned public areas only once per day, so when in the evening there was vomit in one place, then the vomit was still there in the morning, that was very much unpleasant to see!

Dear Valued Guest, We are delighted to hear that you have generally enjoyed that you had a great time and you have generally enjoyed your stay in our location. Kindly note, that the rooms under the restaurant are considered for the most quiet ones as they are located in our garden. All buildings have a lift available. Furthermore, there is always a lifeguard on duty and a beach boy that makes sure that everyone has a sunbed no matter what time it is. Concerning our cocktails, whiskey has 30% content, rum, gin and vodka has up to 38% and liqueur 15-22%. Concerning the house keeping there is a cleaning lady at all times visiting the toilets and all hotel premises. However, your useful remarks help us began better and we looking forward to welcoming you again in our Hotel. Best Regards, Blue Sea Team

Checking in barely took 5 minutes, while paying the tourist tax we were quickly given an A4 sheet of paper and some plans with which we had to make do. "Your room is outside on the right, with the elevator to the first floor...." . Soft drinks come out of the syringe, don't be surprised if your cola still tastes like tonic, cocktails vary enormously depending on who makes them. You cannot get a packed lunch during excursions, but during busy periods the plastic cups (in the beach bar) simply go through the sink under running water for reuse. Towel change is only provided every three days (your room number is noted in a notebook... hilarious). The storage space for clothes is limited and the shelf hadn't seen a dust rag in a while. Unfortunately, there is also a sun lounger rush here, both at the pool and on the beach. However, posters clearly stating that this is not permitted are not very efficient without checks. Hotel guests are requested to wear a wristband to be recognizable to the staff for the All-In formula, but there appeared to be several "guests" on the beach who had no connection with the hotel. Only during the last days of our stay was this checked and responded to. At the end of the Award Winning Beach there will be a sewer. Not a bad word about the breakfast, sufficient and plenty of choice. For lunch you had a choice of the main restaurant (many recurring dishes) and the beach bar with wraps and a selection of what was served upstairs in the restaurant. For dinner you had a choice of fish and meat, again often recurring dishes (or a variant or combination thereof) in the same week. We have repeatedly supported the local catering industry to get some variety on our plates. The restaurant manager gave a customer-unfriendly impression by being busy and noisy towards the employees, while looking sullen. The hairdresser is not physically present in the hotel but can come on request (cutting only...). Late check-out is possible, upon initial inquiry it turned out that we could keep the room provided we paid €50. Our request was written in a book (!). The next day there appeared to be no trace of it, uninterested and without further inspection (by another employee) it was reported that it was not possible and that we had to leave the room before 12 noon. On the day itself (early in the morning) we asked the next employee again whether a solution had been found in the meantime: with a loud sigh, a vacant look and without any form of research we received a negative answer. After we had packed the suitcases at check-out and handed over the card, this clerk (the manager was present...) came with the idea that we could get another room... for the next 4 hours... something that it made no sense at all anymore.

A very busy hotel indeed. My opinion is that it's definitely aimed at German tourist, who i found to be be very ignonart, pushy, no manners and selfish. If theres a queue for food, drinks or at reception they just barge right to the front. If you like german sausage or salad on the breakfast menu then this is the place for you The food aint half bad to be fair, unlike the alcoholic drinks which are absolutely terrible with hardly any alcohol content. If you want a sun lounger round the pool prepare to get up around 5.30 - 6am to stake your claim because if you don't then you'll miss out. The entertainment is pretty bog standard with no rush in getting it started. The dinning room/kitchen staff as well as the cleaning team work extremely hard going above and beyond. The staff on reception seem to do a good job more so if you speak to rosa and your German she'll deal with you before anyone else as i found out. First at reception desk yet 2 German people turned up after me and got spoke to and sorted first. Then there's a very odd woman who was on guest relations who i found to be very arrogant and blunt. Getting to either Rhodes town or Faliraki is easy as theres bus stops right outside the hotel. All in all a good hotel with plenty to offer, just a few things spoilt it for my Wife and Myself. My advice is if your English try elsewhere

Concerning our breakfast there is a variety of 22 warm dishes, pancakes, fresh made omelets and a pastry corner. We are sorry that you have felt aside. All guests are valuable to us and it is the first time we hear that an British guest has been discriminated. This could have happened because there is only one German speaking receptionist on each shift and that was Rosa. We booked last year through on the beach ⛱️, the holiday was a part of our sons 21st celebrations. First time to Rhodes and won't be our last, the hotel is situated right on the road between Faliraki and Rhodes, public transport on the door step, we user the buses €1.50 to falaraki and €2.50 to roads old town, no issues on either and regular service ( worth noting on the way back from rhodes it's a ticket kiosk at the termamist). The hotel is situated right on its own part of the beach, we went all inclusive so enjoyed the beach bar for lunch and drinks, Gyros, burgers, hot dogs and other warm choices from 10.30, entertainment was on at the beach bar nightly and all inc till 23.30, paid bar after that. Their was a cooler wind at the front at night, this time of the season they could have had a few outside heaters, this woukd have made the experience more enjoyable. The complex is large, has 4 pool areas, three bars, the infinity was our preference as its smaller and heats up quicker, no pools were heated. There are three resteraunts, main buffet, an ala cart and burger house, always something to eat but the main resteraunt did get busy, staff were very efficient to clear and clean tables. The main pool bar does crepes and have beer, prosecco, cocktails and soft drinks all day, with only one side all inc it did get busy. No sports shown on the tvs at the hotel so we ventured into bar street in falaraki twice for the Celtic games, Jamaica bar has a great selection of tvs and had all the sport on (football colours welcome), guy asks who's your team and will guide you to the best seats 👍, drinks were reasonable draft and cocktails. We also eat out twice once at desert rose and the other Cavo, food was lovely and fresh, setting was really nice as well (Greece is a little more expensive than spain). The old town in rhodes, down to the port and up through Hippocrates square is worth the trip, lots of shade on the walk up and plenty of places to stop, watch out for the ones with no prices on the menu, we stopped off for refreshments at one, large beer, 2 smoothies and a cocktail £48... others were getting charged alot more, from the cruise ships 🚢 Would we go back, absolutely 💯

Very good hotel with fantastic service. Lots of food and a great idea with a well-stocked beach bar, thanks to which we only returned to the room for dinner. The class of the hotel is the fact that after arriving early in the morning, we were provided with wristbands, allowing us to use the facility immediately, and not only after receiving the room, which was supposed to happen around 2 p.m. The same was true with departure. Way to go! Lots of entertainment - animations and dancing by the beach every day, which for us, apart from food, is a priority when choosing each offer, because we like to dance. We will come back one day when we find a satisfactory price for this offer.

After our first very good stay last year October this year is even better ! The check in was super fast and arriving at our sea view room we were surprised by a welcome gift containing a nice bottle of wine ,plated sweets on a local plate and a local gift of honey with sweets ready to take home as it had a souvenir wrapping. There are many positives about this hotel but a big difference is that they have employed this year a guest relations manager ! Her name is Nathalie and you can find her desk in the entrance hall . She is super friendly and approachable besides speaking 6 languages she deals with any query hotel-guest may have in a professional way . I had a very small complaint and it was solved and seen to immediately! Further more her knowledge about Rhodes is excellent. Another thing this year what was different is that I tried the spa. Elena the manager sold me a package what was absolutely well worth the money . Annie who gave me the yoga facial and back and neck and shoulder massage did this above expectations very efficient and professional. The spa is very big and clean with many treatments available . Use of sauna ,Turkish bath and big heated indoor pool is free of use . The rooms are spotless and towels and bed linen are changed daily . The ladies who cleaned our room very extremely friendly and skilfull and thorough in their job . The restaurant has two parts where you sit outside , pure bliss eating outside every day ! Plenty of choice and we thought the desserts buffet was extended from last year . There are plenty of sun beds available around pools and on the beach ! The atmosphere in the hotel is a friendly and relaxed one . There is entertainment but you can do as little or much as you want . The crepe’s available and tailored made for you are outstanding and made by a patience friendly man . He won’t serve you half baked crepes but a well a la France made crepe . The sea is clean and very view rocks ,and the hotel grounds are very clean and green ! We have 3 days left and will enjoy them fully . Bus to Rhodes is in front of hotel and takes you air conditioned in 30 minutes to Rhodes town . In addition you can order with nathalie or reception theLindos express bus for 16 pound return ticket ,travel time 45 minutes only and time in lindos 3 hours !
