Our family stay at dusitD2 Naseem Resort was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The entire family fell in love with the resort, especially the adventure park, which kept the kids entertained for hours. The swimming pool was perfect for cooling off, and cycling around the resort was a delightful way to explore the beautiful surroundings.
Breakfast each morning was a treat with so many options—everyone found something they loved, and it made our mornings a joy. A big shoutout to the entire staff, especially [mention a specific staff member if you remember], who made our stay even more enjoyable with their friendliness and attentiveness.
The two-bedroom unit we stayed in was spacious, well-equipped, and the kitchen was a lifesaver for quick family meals. We also appreciated the little details, like how housekeeping kept our room immaculate and ready for us after a long day of fun.
One of our favorite moments was having a family picnic in the resort’s gardens—the scenery was simply breathtaking. The resort is surrounded by nature, making it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Amazing resort, all the staff were very friendly and good service. Food is brilliant and it is a beautiful and relaxing place. Rajashekar, Basanta, and Miraj provided a great service by regularly cleaning the room and were always very polite and attentive.

A surprisingly vast resort in the Omani mountains: ample rooms, beautiful swimming pool area (even if the pool is very shallow! Just 1,25 m) for sunbathing , a fantastic adventure park with ziplines , tibetan bridges et al , suitable for any kind of clients, from kids or inexpert ones to the most daring ones , as there are 3 levels of paths at different heights. Excellent variety of food at the restaurant both for breakfast and dinner, kindest staff! Thanks to Nadini and Waleed who assisted us for any need. Furthermore, the resort is suitable even for handicapped or clients with limited mobility: rooms especially designed for wheelchair clients, a service of electric navettes to go throughout the resort (it expands throughout the landscape, some rooms are somewhat far from lobby, and if it is very cold it is nice to be accompanied to the restaurant by car!). The location is a bit isolated but it offers good views.

While dusitD2 Naseem Resort may not be able to match its more illustrious competitors at Jabal Akhtar in terms of amenities and location/view, it can be competitive by trying to match their service standards. That’s where there is great room for improvement.
Take our experience. We arrived at 3pm to check-in, and got our rooms only at 6pm, with our bags arriving a further hour later. We requested to have a word with the manager, but he was apparently “too busy”, and we said we’ll wait. We had to wait a little over 24 hours for him to get back to us (perhaps prompted by what I’d shared on social media). We were offered free dinner, but by then we had had our fill.
One thing the Dusit team needs to realize is the importance of a good first impression in hospitality. If you make a good first impression with a bit of politeness and a few thoughtful gestures that cost nothing, the guests are likely to overlook a few hiccups that come later. However, if you upset the guests at the start, every little stumble you make is amplified.
It’s hard to buy the excuse that it was a busy day and the hotel had high occupancy. It isn’t like the guests turned up out of the blue. Based on the number of reservations made, the hotel should have been prepared with more staff on duty and getting extra help if needed. Please do not expect any empathy from people who’ve driven for hours with children to get there wait till evening to get their room.
It wasn’t all bad though. The breakfast buffet was good, the pool was quite nice, little kids seemed to be having fun at the adventure park and if you get a room on the outer periphery to the east you have an unhindered view of the sunrise over the mountains. The staff and chefs at Veranda were most helpful and a special shout out to Irfan who cheerfully dealt with all our random requests. The young gentleman (from Cuttack, Orissa) at the pool bar was also very generous with helpful advice.
Personally, I felt a bit let down since I had pushed for this hotel over other ones my friends had wanted to go to. I hope the Dusit team is aware that if guests have a disappointing experience at one Dusit property, they are not likely choose another Dusit at a different location ever again.
Hope the Dusit management will take this criticism in the right spirit and work towards realizing the full potential of the place.

Stayed here mutiple times and they never cease to Amaze you with their true Hospitality! Housekeeping team Rajshekhar ,Jamal - What a brilliant job team is doing , it should be recognized by the organization for their continuous effort to make guest feel comfortable. Cleaned rooms perfectly done. We also like to include Restaurant team for making us feel special and welcome for Dinner & breakfast. April and Roshni went the extra mile to feed us with scrumptious desserts, pizza & soups. These small efforts makes difference in entire stay .We love coming back to Dusit . I stayed at the hotel for work for a week. I have been here before in December. Miss Wan at the Spa is AMAZING! I have tried the scrub and the massages and all experiences were great. Each time I left the spa extremely relaxed and pampered. The hotel itself has large and clean rooms, the food is fresh and some of it even grows on site.

I had the most amazing stay with Dusit! I cannot say enough good things, all members of staff were very kind and accommodating. So much personalized service, I cannot recommend staying here enough. The grounds are beautiful,extremely well kept, and scenic. All food comes straight from the resort so it's very fresh. The chefs were absolutely amazing, and accommodating all dietary restrictions with no problem. The rooms were amazing, and extremely comfortable. I do not have a single complaint, I recommend everyone come check out Dusit D2 Resort and Jabal Akthar. There is so much beauty and rich culture in Jabal Akthar, we felt like time has stood still. Great way to experience how people used to live and maintain the land. All staff is very knowledgeable about the area and provided great recommendations.

It was a pleasure staying at the DusitD2. The experience exceeded my expectations. I was amazed at the price. It was easy to walk to great restaurants. It was exciting for everyone to explore the adventure area, and the kids club was also equipped with so many fun activities. This is definitely a place I would return to.
The layout of the villa and rooms was designed in environmental design, quiet and fully privacy.
Furthermore, everything downtown is within walking distance. Rooms were beautiful, clean, and the hotel dining room had a wonderful ambiance! This will not be the last time we visit. It is evident from the commitment and behavior of the staff that Mr Getard Stuts the GM is making a difference.
Also, I would like to thank and appreciate amazing team ( Hasna, Muaied, Zeyad, Muhannad,Muktar,Ameenah, Saud, Yousif, Amjad, Abdulrahman, Ahmed, Mazin, Hamood, and Hatem).
They attempted to offer a unique service and had a bright personality.I loved their efforts, adaptability, honesty and integrity, willingness to learn and improve skills, and confidence.

Below expectations 1. We waited almost one hour for the check in and the rooms were not ready however they have told us that the rooms are ready and clean when we go to the rooms they were dirty and we had to wait until 5.30 PM and the check in was at 12 PM. 2. The restaurant did not accept order through menu only buffet which costs 20 riyals per person. 3. The outdoor activity is fun and amazing the kids loved it. 4. I still don’t understand why the hotel charges 10 rials for the bicycle rides. 5. The manager was really helpful and he allowed us to check out at 5 PM the next day.
