Lucas Didim Resort is celebrated for its stunning pools, beachfront location, and diverse dining options, making it a hit with those seeking sun, sand, and variety. While most guests commend the resort's immaculate cleanliness and the vibrant atmosphere bolstered by music and shows, opinions on the value and all-inclusive packages are split. Service quality has received mixed feedback due to instances of rudeness and inconsistency, and while rooms are generally appreciated for their cleanliness and design, some report discomfort and maintenance concerns.

There is so much that is great about the hotel. It’s ultra pretty in a campus Roman Villa style with 3 decent swimming pools and a private beach which has a nice breeze. It’s immaculate and rooms get cleaned every day. All inclusive there is a huge amount of food to choose from predominantly Turkish and a lot of things made fresh to order - omelettes, waffles etc. It has a nice cafe which does pastries and Turkish coffee. There is also lots of fridges stacked with water where you can help yourself. The bars are well stocked and waiters are friendly. One tip is to go to the snack bars in the Veranda in the afternoon it has lot of individual concessions made to order / jacket potato’s, pizzas, burgers , kebabs, waffles, Turkish filo pancakes , fried chicken and chips.
Oh, and all the food and drinks are free no extra charges for brand names.

But we did have some issues with our room and reported them both 5 times. In the end we stopped because we realised they didn’t care.
Our mini bar was not working but it was overheating really badly and so hot was a fire risk as it was plumbed in a wooden clothing unit so much so that everything in there felt like it was ironed. I spoke to 2 duty managers ( and 3 reception staff) and one was Bihter I asked her to please either fix it or disconnect it as it was unsafe. Also it make a odd sound thru the night so we never got a good nights sleep. Someone did come shook head and said not good when he tested it and never came back! The other time was the TV it did not work it didn’t connect to the remote properly I changed batteries, brought remote to reception and they agreed it was faulty and we would get a new one in our room the next day - never happened. Then i spoke to her Duty manager with a blue shirt he shook my hands and assured me face to face it would be fixed same day and wrote my room no down - nothing happened we just got lied too . They didn’t seem to care.

On non room things reception were very good , friendly with taxi bookings etc but the quality of service and the issue with the room was unpleasant.

Entertainment we did attend every night and it was fun but please bear in mind most of if is for a Turkish audience as most of the customers seem to be from there. My daughter enjoyed it especially the dancers later on . It did seem to be the same show every night to the point we could exactly predict the order of the playlist.

This was our first abroad family holiday for over 6 years so I felt a lot of pressure to try and find the right hotel……well I shouldn’t have worried. The Lucas Didim was just fantastic!

Every member of staff worked so hard and were very friendly and kind. Communication in English was a little difficult at times but nothing a translating app couldn’t fix. We had an issue with our fridge in the room which was quickly sorted so was very pleased with that.

Food was plentiful and a good varied choice that catered for all nationalities. We loved going to the veranda snack area for our lunches especially for the fried chicken and freshly made pizza. We didn’t try any of the speciality restaurants as you have to choose what you want to eat when you book and that wasn’t for us. The alcohol isn’t the best either and some of the cocktails were not great but my husband and myself aren’t big drinkers anyway so it didn’t affect us. We loved the iced coffees though!

I have to make a special mention to all the entertainment team of Ata, Emri, Barbie, Melody, Aysa, Zhannel, Woody and Eddie as they all made time to come and talk to us as a family and really made our girls holiday. So much so there were lots of tears when we had to leave. They worked tirelessly throughout the whole day and night to keep guests entertained with different activities.

The pools were kept clean and tidy. We never had any issues getting a sun bed. You get a towel card on arrival and can collect fresh towels each day from the spa. The slides are open for a couple of hours in the morning and afternoon which was plenty enough for our girls.

The only slight frustration I did have was that in the 11 nights we stayed at the hotel our room was only cleaned twice. I had to ask for towels and toilet paper on a couple of occasions. There seemed to be no system as to what room was cleaned when.

I would also say that the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have EVER stayed in! So unless you like laying on a brick wall be prepared for some sleepless nights!

Overall this hotel is great for a lovely relaxing holiday and I would not hesitate to book here again despite the uncomfortable beds!

We were one of the first guests to arrive at the hotel. So we had the privilege seeing it before anyone else really was there. There was no one by the pool, it was great 😂 but from the moment we got there we noticed how clean everything was, even after a lot of guests arrived. Real coca-cola on tap, and Coke Zero. Massively selection of drinks. I don’t drink alcohol so I can’t really speak for the alcohol selection but my husband enjoyed the beer.

As for the room, the room was always clean and cleaned daily with fresh sheets. When we arrived there was plenty of cans of drinks in our mini fridge and also some crisps when we arrived. The rooms were lovely and cool. And the air conditioning was great.

The food was lovely and I’m a fussy eater. I do have a peanut allergy so I did stay away from deserts just incase but my husband loved them. Plenty of choice. The chicken kebab was my favourite. There are plenty of places to eat from and there’s also a waffle section!
What I noticed most is how clean the hotel and eating areas are. The buffet is immaculate.

The pools at the hotel are lovely, and not too cold! The sunbed were great and comfortable. But when it got busy you do need to try and get up early the claim one before they go. Lucky the first 2 days this was not an issue. We had an entire pool to ourselves! Lucky!

I’ve seen some reviews that made me a little nervous about going but honestly it was above and beyond what we expected. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Another thing I liked is there are loads of fridges filled with bottled water to just help yourself.

Overall we had a fantastic stay and would 100% recommend. We also found a lovely taxi driver who gave us really fair prices and was extremely helpful to us. If you’re thinking about going to didim I would say go for it here!

I don’t normally write reviews, however I thought this may help others when choosing where to stay if coming to Didim.
This hotel is not 5 star by a long stretch, we booked this hotel for 9 nights for my birthday & anniversary plus it’s our baby moon. On arrival we travelled all night from 10pm, got to the hotel at 8am the next morning and was told we would have to wait untill 2pm for our room being pregnant and travelling all night this was a nightmare. so we had to sleep in reception untill our room was ready.
Once we finally got our room 582, I will honestly say it’s a lovely room with a lovely view. Cleaning however is a different story, even after tipping the cleaners, beds are not changed daily, just made. So they are dirty, so we had to take sheets off the trolly to change our own bed. we got home from the beach all day on 2 days and had no clean towels, had to wait 2 hours for fresh ones before we could shower and one of them days they didn’t even bother so we showered with hand towel each. Staff at reception hardly speak English so it’s hard to communicate.

Food wise, you can always find somthing to eat however they don’t cater for english, only English thing for breakfast is a omelette unless your after chips, we havnt really eaten in the evening much as the food isn’t great and not labelled very well for English as I can’t eat certain food at the moment so we have been going out. Al a cart restaurant don’t bother it’s awful. I will say lunch throughout the day by the beach is good & drinks are great too.
In regards to the resort, it’s a lovely resort and has so much potential, however beach is dirty so have not bothered even tho I love a nice beach and it’s mainly what I come for, other side of Didim have lovely beaches.
I Believe a holiday is what you make it but
Overall I will say if your English don’t bother, hardly any English and people seem so rude here.
I spoke to another English couple here and they had the exact same view, they couldn’t wait to go home.
Other hotels in the area seem to cater a lot better for English especially other side of Didim.

Where do I begin...
The resort/hotel is nice and the pools and slides are very good, the beach is okay not great but handy to have it as part of your hotel. All Inclusive is terrible, the worse I've experienced and the food and drinks are awful. They run out of food and certain drinks so gotta make do with what they have. The entertainment is terrible, our room was pleasant but not great, minor things found in our room such as no shower gel (we had to buy our own), found previous guests hair stuck to a empty shower gel bottle, chairs on our balcony are extremely uncomfortable. Also when trying to eat we was being watched by stray cats and dogs and followed by them, also witnessed 3 dogs fight aggressively outside of the main restaurant, the only decent food you will have here is the lunch at the snack bar. The staff are miserable and rude and seem to favour certain guests, if you're English I wouldn't recommend staying here. If you want good food and good drinks and entertainment better off going into the town Altinkum. Also of the evening when having a drink at dinner or by the pool bar you was made to drink from a plastic cup like a child not from a glass, better off going to reception for a better drink in a glass, all in all it is a nice hotel/resort on the outside but on the inside you couldn't pay me to stay back here, simply awful.

EVERYTHING WAS AWFUL!
Don’t get me wrong the positive is that the pool, watersides and resort itself was nice however that’s where it ends.
The food is awful… stone cold and limited variety. The people that are saying there’s lots of choice are lying. Nothing was ever replenished. Breakfast was twice as bad, we asked the staff if there was anymore and he said no finished, there was still an hour and a half left of breakfast to go… we are out the majority of our week in Altinkum.
The resort is crawling with cats and dogs and they follow you everywhere including back to your room if you are walking around with food. It’s disgusting.
The drinks are terrible, watered down and not made correctly. Every drink was served in a plastic cup like you’re a child.
The sun beds are broken, the surrounds is covered in litter, there were broke furniture left all over.
Lastly the staff are rude, don’t bother going if you’re British, they don’t treat you the same as the locals or other nationalities. There was 2 nice bar staff who were really pleasant and made jokes with us but apart from that no one else was happy at all.
In all honesty I would never go back even if someone paid me…

The resort is extremely beautiful, with green gardens, very well taken care of, a lot of flowers and peaceful atmosphere. The accommodation is in small villas which makes the resort completely special. The room we stayed in had a sea view and was newly renovated and furnished. All the main interest areas are very close to each other, another important aspect - not to travel a lot in the resort: pools (very clean, with slides for children if you want to), restaurants, beach, caffe house - all together, so you can easily jump from one to other. The food is very good, you find a lot of options, so you have what to choose even if you are a picky person. Pleasant and welcoming staff. The animation team is completely different from other resorts, very friendly with a close approach for the guests. All the members did an extraordinary job from morning till late at night in order to entertain and take care of the children and adults too. It was very nice to meet them around the resort and have a chat with them. Bodrum is very close if you want to have some party nights or to go for some walks. You can also swim with the dolphins nearby Bodrum. This year we will go again to Lucas Didim resort. We made the choice not to look for something new because this resort meets all our needs.

What a wonderful hotel in a relaxing beautiful picturesque beach front setting .We were warmly welcomed by the lovely staff throughout the hotel
Sometimes a lack of communication with some who don’t speak English .. but a smile speaks a million words .and there were plenty of them.
The food here is amazing .The main restaurant had a diverse selection of freshly cooked food every mealtime here was a pleasure . We enjoyed so many delicious meals
The fantastic FB manager Ercan is on hand to supervise his team of chefs and serving staff and we received the best service from him than any other hotel we have ever stayed at thank you Ercan it meant a lot ❤️
There are 4a la carte to visit 1 per stay
We were lucky enough to enjoy both the Turkish and the Italian again here the food was top notch quality and the service from Sadik and his team was professional but friendly.
There is also a food court from 11am til 4pm where fresh baked potato pizza crispy chicken burgers chips etc this was fantastic and we enjoyed snacks here
The animation team Wow what a fantastic hard working bunch of guys n gals the team led by ATA worked tirelessly to make sure everyone was having a good time Melody n Barbie were amazing Thankyou all for your hard work 🥰
The bar staff kept the drinks flowing but drinks were a little limited for our taste
We were lucky enough to meet the lovely Lucas family who own the hotel such wonderful friendly down to earth people who genuinely care about their guests
We are looking to return later this summer we are hooked on the beautiful people the location and can’t wait to return to our little bit of paradise❤️

We’re on our last day at Lucas Didim and we’ve had a great time, the grounds are lovely, clean and well maintained.
The food is the standard all inclusive and there was plenty of choice.
Getting a sun lounger was almost impossible, although we’ve seen more being delivered today.
The animations team were great and I have to give a special mention to Smaylo who was very friendly and made us laugh.
The only downside was that we paid for a sea view room but this only had a double bed which was not suitable for my son and I, so we were moved to a triple room with no sea view.

Okay I’m here at the moment and I want to say how amazing this hotel is. The scenery is so picturesque and so many photo opportunities. The entertainment team are incredible and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Melody is so fantastic at her job and I just think she is such an asset to this hotel. Ata is so amazing at the commentary and makes being around the pool like a beautiful experience. The music around the pool is always lively and all ranges for all ages. Love Emir, DJ Sam, Regan is hysterical- I love them all!!!
The food is simply stunning freshly cooked for you and the cleanliness is incredible.I can’t possibly find enough words to describe how wonderful this hotel is. Book book book you will not be disappointed. I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don't think Im going to help much- probably best contacting the hotel yourself. The kids club is open twice a day - 2 or 3 hours per session. Ive seen people dropping their children there and no contact info was taken from the parents so I assume you can potentially do whatever you want, just in the time frame

In turkey they use the standard European sockets/ plugs - so most likely you'd need one of those
