Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not a lot of choice out this way. Room was basic but clean and comfortable and good value, considering the location. Pretty quiet as it's well back from the highway. Good for an overnight stay travelling across the Nullabor. Decent roadhouse food. Undercover parking beside the room.

It was very clean, bed very comfortable. For its location thought it quite good. Staff were courteous. They close at 7pm so if needing a meal, would need to go to shop by latest 6.30pm. Fuel very pricey.

Wasn’t expecting much after the reviews but pleasantly surprised. VERY clean, revamped huge ensuite, friendly staff and tasty meal at the Tavern. Husband had steak burger, I had vege burger and the large wedges to share were generous. It was $150 for the motel and $44 in total for the meal, a welcome reprieve from the camper van!

Clean room. Shower for us didn't work properly as it went cold . Pricey but expected as no other choices due to location in the middle of Australia. Meals were price well and large servings and value for money.

Not a lot of choice in the middle of nowhere. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Quiet location as the trucks park up quite early. Shower took forever to get hot which isn't great when they are on limited water supplies. Not bad for an overnight stay during your travels across the Nullabor. Roadhouse food. Undercover parking (for a small vehicle) outside the room.

We stayed in four roadhouses, and this was the worst. The room had been cleaned, but the windowsills had clearly never been dusted, and there were stains on the bedding. The staff were rude, and the shepherd's pie I ordered at the restaurant was inedible - most of it still cold from the fridge (it felt like it had had maybe 30 seconds in the microwave), and big chunks of gristle. We couldn't find anyone to serve us a drink at the bar, despite it being 6pm. Stay at Nullarbor Roadhouse for the remote vibes, Eucla for the comfy rooms, or Balladonia for the best restaurant and great museum. But I'd recommend giving this one a miss.

Booked a room 3 weeks before travel. After driving 800kms, on arrival was told they were fully booked and not one for us. The lady before me was told the same thing. The guy said we must have ring Mundrabilla...I was furious I said don't you think I would know the difference between the 2 names.. he said that it had happened a few times recently. Good excuse. Luckily I rang Balladonia and we got the last room... the other lady had to drive to Madura to get a room. Some one obviously forgot to write us in.

Nice clean and well maintained room for a decent price.. was pleasantly suprised as I have driven past many a time. Tip: let the shower water run for a minute before you hassle the staff about no hot water.

Thanks so much for having us our Motel Room was perfect. Hot shower and a comfy bed what more could you ask for. Everyone works so hard and like everyone are so busy but we couldn't fault them. The food at the restaurant was amazing home cooked meals, I highly recommend the Rissoles & Veg if they're on the menu. Breakfast was the best trip starter as we continued our journey. We'll definitely be back xx
