Newly opened in May this is top tier eco tent glamping, complete with ensuite, Aircon, super comfy king size bed and a lovely front deck to sit. The landscaping is so fitting for this Tropical style retreat and in time will offer more shade to the tents , as my main criticism was with the layout of the north facing tents that have the full on blazing sun across the front of the deck area making it too hot to sit out until the sun starts to set. My pick of best orientation tent sites would be from No. 1 to 10...with No. 8 having more shade than others. Definitely the less shaded tents were No. 11 - 15.

So how to fill your days as sitting in a tent is not what you come to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm for. The infinity pool is the most amazing reviver squeezed into the smallest of spaces available on the ochre hillside perched high overlooking the Bay, butted up next to the Restaurant balcony. What a perfect spot to cool down and then find a shaded table amongst the trees to enjoy a cool drink.

Plenty of tours are on offer and I thoroughly recommend the Pearl Farm Tour as it covers all aspects of the history of the indigenous Saltwater People the Bardi Jawi, through to the times of the earliest pearling through the 3 generations of the current owners. The other tour I can recommend is the Waterfall Reef which needs the high receding tide times to be seen so early morning starts are required for this but the high speed Zodiac with twin 250 HP motors is a thrill in itself.

So lastly the accommodation package included a cooked breakfast; so with a 3 day stay the cooked breakfast was something special on day one, less enticing on day two and by day three I was completely over it, and the only other choice was pancakes. I was so expecting something fresh and tropical to be on the menu and understand this remote location makes it difficult.

If you are staying in the tents there is no option to self cater although I was told a campers kitchen is planned and should be operational within months. So we had no choice but to dine nightly in the restaurant, which similarly makes your choices more limited to try something different the longer you stay. All meals were adequate, some better than others depending on your wallet as mains from $32 - $42. Some shared plates were a cheaper option.
But top marks to the staff who were always very helpful, smiling and accommodating.
Coffee was good ☺️ and barista coffee but not included in the breakfast package.
Yes I would highly recommend staying at the new Pearlers
Eco tents...but 2 night's is enough and make sure you choose the shaded deck tents, and check the tidal dates for the reef tour

Thank you for your review. We are glad your enjoyed the glamping tent and tours. We are hoping that as the greenery around the tents grow it will provide more shade for the north facing tents. We will definitely take your feedback about breakfast onboard to ensure that there are more fresh options on the menu. Our camp kitchen is now fully operational which gives people in the Pearlers Village the opportunity to self cater if wanted. Hope to see you back at Cygnet Bay in the future.

We stayed in a waterfront luxury safari tent - not the air conditioned ones in some recent reviews that are in a bare field near the central facilities but at a beautiful bushland setting a couple of kilometres away. The safari tent was great with enough power to charge device batteries (most don’t) and access to a nearby camp kitchen. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced given the location - the pearl meat ceviche was a real treat. We did the pearl farm tour that was very well presented and informative - they even passed around a huge pearl worth tens of thousands of dollars!!! No wifi in the central facilities though which is something they should have these days. The infinity swimming pool next to the restaurant is also a big plus!!

Thank you for your review. We are sorry your were disappointed about having no wifi. As a regional farm, it is harder to get internet signal here than most places. We are hoping to rectify this issue and are in the planning stages of building a Telstra tower on the farm, so hopefully in the future we can provide our guests with wifi access.

Special stay at the Master Pearlers House for special birthday trip with friends. Incredible secluded location and views approx 10-15 min drive from reception, restaurant and pool - but definitely need 4WD for access track. Authentic tropical house with bedrooms in separate wing and external bathrooms/laundry. Service from all staff was brilliant, especially given these trying COVID times. Restaurant dinners were delicious and highlights were Terry's Borrgoron coast to creek tour (best oysters we've ever had), the waterfall reef boat tour and Lunar Bar for Staircase to the Moon. Prices reflect the remote location (this is the Kimberley!) Thankyou Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm!

We stayed at the glamping safari tent, it was quite nice 4wd access along a dirt road about 1km from the reception. The rooms themselves were equipped with a small bar fridge and easy access to a camp kitchen. The beds were comfortable enough but the views was nice. The only problem we had at tent. 2 was the hot water was not working. We had cold showers, reception were quick to help but the problem persisted even after being rectified by maintenance for our stay. We also booked a waterfall reef tour tour which is a must do. Food at the restaurant was ok, choice of barramundi and meat dishes, breakfast was part of the booking as consisted of the basic breakfast choices.

What a great time we have all had! We are a family group of 15 ranging in age from seven months to 70 years young and cant think of a better place to celebrate grandad’s 70th. Accommodation is basic and excellent using both the Pearlers and Skippers houses and a couple of the glamping tents replete with showers and toilets. We are very impressed with the restaurant especially the very high quality coffee! The range of tours available from the Pearl farm catered to all interests and were easy to organise for such a large group. A week long stay has flown by on a relaxed and happy family holiday.

We had some days spare in Broome recently so made the trip out to Cape Leveque. We were just in time to get a tour with the fantastic Teressa as our guide. It was a great morning taking in the business of pearl farming as well as the pristine environment.
You're invited to bring your swimmers and pop in the pool to cool down too next to the cafe. What a great vibe.
We didn't stay here so can't comment on the accomodation etc

Although most of the staff were lovely, we had a pretty poor experience overall. We stayed in one of the shacks which was fine, clean (hard to find down the 4wd tracks at night).
We were told we weren't able to swim for long in the pool, that they didn't have towels at the time and not very helpful or kind.
The restaurant had a nice view and entree was lovely, but went downhill from there. For $37 we got average meals, some of the food not cooked properly and the staff member didn't seem to be interested.
We didn't know at the time but the place is owned by the Brown family who don't seem to employ any locals from nearby communities.
For over $300/night expected a bit more, glad we only stayed one night.

Our family (two adults, two kids) stayed in the Stone House this weekend and we had a great time! It was our first trip to the Cape and we will definitely be back to explore more!
The Stone House is very rustic and some might call it basic but it has everything you need. The living area and kitchen are not air conditioned but the breezes coming through the flyscreen windows were enough to cool us down, even in February. The two bedrooms are air conditioned - we didn’t realise the rooms were all separately accessed off the patio area which would be fine for adults or older children but for anyone with very young children (like our family), you may need to plan to split up with one parent in each room with one child. Just a heads up.
The bathroom is awesome - the kids loved looking at the tree frogs!
A great little house and a unique experience - maybe not suited for people who only stay in five star resorts or who don’t like camping or the outdoors. I read a review from someone complaining about there being ‘critters’ around the house. Oh for goodness sake, some people should just stay home!
The restaurant was awesome, the food was amazing, the service was fast and friendly, all of the staff there were helpful and very polite and the infinity pool has a lovely view!
We had a great time and will definitely be back! Thank you!

We had a lovely two nights here for my partners special birthday. The accommodation in the Skippers Cottage was quaint/basic depending on your put of view. We had two issues there: 1) the fuse for the lights kept blowing, and 2) the smoke detector started tweeting. Both issues were expeditiously addressed by friendly staff. AND, the hotel gave us complimentary wine and breakfast for the inconvenience. We were most impressed.
The bistro food was truely excellent - we had two dinners and a breakfast with the former both being delicious and memorable.
We did the Islands 2 hour tour and this again was excelent,
All of the staff we came in contact with were happy, friendly and chatty.
A great two day break from our home in Broome.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in the Pealers Stone Cottage. Whilst the accommodation was rustic (note that the bedrooms are not connected) we loved all the staff and tours on offer. The two hour island explorer with Callum was fantastic and worth doing. As was the one hour Pearl Farm tour and Terry’s cultural tour. All the staff were really friendly and made you feel at home. An amazing part of the coast to explore!
