What a view. Lovely place. People are friendly. Rooms are small but adequate. This was the place for my wife and I first date. 51 years later nice to return. Close to the town of Bakewell which is always worth a visit.

We so enjoyed our stay here: hiking down into scenic Lathkil Dale, a small but comfortable room, the beautiful view out our window (sheep!), and the delicious meals in the restaurant including delicious Banoffee pie.

Set times, but not worth it during those times. Use the cafe on the road up from the river

Have checked the current2017 good pub guide and dogs are allowed in bedrooms and in the bar area only!
