Detailed Reviews
My stay at Kimeret Place was absolutely perfect. The room was beautiful, very comfortable, exceptionally clean and the bathroom magnificent. There were so many lovely touches:
chocolates on the bed at night, Maori stories, fresh cakes in the room, and so many different designs for the lavatory paper one hardly wanted to use it.Gill was a fund of information ensuring that one got the most of the visit and she was exceptionally kind to me with regard to the computer! The breakfasts were delicious and I have never seen such enormous croissants. It was lovely too to have the company of the beautiful Emma, Gills' Golden Retriever and I enjoyed our walk together.I wished I had been able to stay longer

We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay at Kimeret Place. The accomodations were attractive, clean and comfortable, the hosts, Clare and Peter Jones were very gracious and knowledgeable, and the breakfast was excellent. The location near Mapua is also central to the Nelson area and Abel Tasman Park.

Stunning views, spacious rooms, truly wonderful host. This is a gem of a B and B, we are definitely returning (sorry Jo!) we stayed for 6 nights and had to tear ourselves away, it’s a perfect spot for trips to Abel Tasman, rabbit island and Nelson. Jo was so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We absolutely loved it!

This is a stunning quirky Bed & Breakfast which is situated just by some local wineries on the out skirts of Nelson heading towards Mapua. Great place to stay if you are going to explore the Abel Tasman National Park. All rooms seem to be very well presented and Jo is a very helpful host if you need any information or guidance of the best places to eat. There is a swimming pool on site and the views are stunning from the gardens and if you have a room in the main house. Breakfast is served just in a dinning area across the garden. Loved this place an will look forward to returning there again.

We stayed here for 2 nights, wished we had booked longer. Jo is a delightful and very helpful host. The room and terrace was great with additional guest sitting room and pool. Breakfast is excellent and plenty of choice, hot breakfast available. Jo was happy to help with bookings and advice 're travel arrangements. The accommodation, views and peaceful location make this a special place to stay. I recommend this bb.

Situated in Bronte a few kilometres from Nelson. But a lovely place to explore the Abel Tasman National Park. A lovely suite with a nice bedroom and bathroom. Nice breakfast but not much choice. A small swimming pool but nice to relax in after a days travelling.

We chose this accommodation on account of its proximity to the Abel Tasman National Park. The accommodation is excellent with stunning views. Jo gave us a warm welcome and she provided us with an excellent breakfast to send us on our way. We would recommend Kimeret Place as a place to stay.

We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our trip to New Zealand - Jo was very welcoming and provided the most amazing home cooked breakfasts we have ever had on holiday! We stayed in the one bedroomed apartment which was very comfortable and had wonderful views down towards the estuary. Jo was very helpful booking us a kayaking trip in the beautiful Abel Tasman national park. The swimming pool was a great place to unwind too. The views from the main house are simply stunning and we loved the decor in the breakfast room which was very much to our taste. Would love to go back, it's a great base for this part of South Island.

We rented the cottage for four nights. The cottage overlooks a tidal estuary, and is both comfortable and attractively furnished. Jo is a remarkable hostess, concerned about every aspect of Kimeret Place. The breakfast is extraordinary with cold fruit and yoghurt, plus a splendid breakfast prepared by Jo, a Cordon Bleu trained chef. Internet worked perfectly and the cottage offered seating outside on a terrace. The cottage is ideal for either a short or long visit. Jo provides a special snack in the late afternoon; a pleasant surprise after day or touring.

Jo greeted us as we pulled up and made us very welcome. The setting is delightful , overlooking the Waimea Inlet. Jo was very helpful in discussing options to discover the local area and once we had chosen what we wanted to do , Jo made the bookings. The bedroom was large and well equipped with a jacuzzi bath. Jo is a trained chef so the breakfast was delicious and as she cooks it while you are there you can ask her for variations on her plans .
