Villas Waiheke are stunning, privately located in the middle of the Island very close to the airport/runway - which is still pretty quiet with ocassional fixed wing planes landing. I'd recommend a car, to make life easier to get around, unless you plan to unwind and stay put. Each villa is superbly appointed with full kitchen, including dishwasher & Nespresso machine (no washer/dryer). Lovely furnishings and comfortable beds. Each villa is located for maximum privacy, so you can sit on the deck and enjoy a drink or listen to birdsong. Pool (heated in winter), hot tub and gym were what sealed the deal for us, they were perfect. The communication & service from the team were great, we had one hiccup with no gas/hot water which was quickly rectified. I'd highly recommend for somewhere special to stay.

We stayed at Villas Waiheke for 4 nights and loved every minute. Hawks soaring in the sunset and Pheasants strolling the lawns in the morning, the peace and quiet was amazing and very welcome. Having previously stayed beachside on Waiheke, VW gave us a whole different experience of Waiheke Island. The Villa was very stylish, clean and comfortable with a great outlook across Waiheke, the Gulf Islands and Rangitoto to the city. Quality linen, robes, bath towels and toiletries completed the luxury feel. You definitely need your own transport due to the location, but with this sorted, VW's central location made getting around easy. Great walks, amazing vineyards and shops are all within easy reach. And after a day out, the pool and hot tub were welcome refreshers. The evenings were so spellbinding that we didn't go out any evening - preferring instead to watch the sun set from our deck with a glass of wine and some snacks. Highly recommended. We will be back.

My Fiance and I took a trip to Waiheke in lieu of our Covid postponed Rarotongan Wedding. We couldn't have wished for a more relaxed place to stay than Villas Waiheke. A rental car is a must as it is off the beaten track. On almost the highest point on the Island the Villa offered great views and extreme sunsets. The noise of the native birds in the surrounding bush added to the relaxed environment. Everything in the Villa was well appointed with luxurious bathroom and spacious living areas. The pool area is great and offers an additional place to unwind. It is also within walking distance of the Bach and Peacock Skies Wineries and the Eco-Zip. Nothing was a problem for our host Karla who offered great unobtrusive service and great advice on things to do and see. A place we will definitely return to again.

We stayed here for two nights in September and were very pleased with our decision to book this accommodation.

These are beautifully designed, comfortable villas. There’s everything you need to make yourself at home. They’re so comfortable we sometimes couldn’t be bothered going out to sightsee.

The property sits on a ridge with views over the island facing west - perfect for sunsets either from the lounge or out on your deck. The villas are joined together but built in a way that you get privacy and don’t notice any other guests.

Lots of nice touches. Bed linen and towels are good quality. Well equiped kitchen - we stayed in one evening and cooked a meal.

The bathroom had a heated floor and nice toiletries.

It is a little off the beaten track so you will need a car but nothing’s very far away.

I can highly recommend Villas Waiheke and would stay here again.

We had a large group and rented all 5 villas. What a fantastic experience. First of all the villas are gorgeous, well appointed with everything you need and views to die for, and we haven’t even got to the pool, hot tub, and gym. The staff seemed to get there everyday and set things up, without us even noticing.location is unbelievable, we hiked to the beach walked to wineries and had walking access to the zip line. We sat on the villa decks and had the best seat in the house for the Auckland fireworks on January 1. We had a magical three days there. We had 4 different families in town for a wedding and all said there time at the villas was the highlight of the three weeks in New Zealand.

A wonderful experience.
Four superbly appointed villas snugly tucked away at one of the highest points of the island and adjacent to the Waiheke aerodrome.
The height provides wonderful 180 degree views easward-northward.
The villas offer an excellen sized heated swimming pool plus spa and well appointed gym.
The service provided by Carla and attention to guests needs first class.
An extraordinarily relaxing and comfortable stay at a location in a central part of the island.

Simply fantastic. The villas are beautifully appointed (great design and attention to detail) and have an awesome outlook towards the sea. Quiet but still central (and fantastic if you were to come in by plane as we did - walked from the grass airstrip straight into the villas!). Karla is lovely and the place is really well looked after - the spa and heated pool were great treats after a hard day (?) at the wineries! Alternatively a glass of wine from your private deck as you watch the sun go down over Auckland city in the distance was very memorable. The villas were not serviced during our 4 night stay, but we had friends staying there who asked for more coffee pods etc, so they would I am sure top things up where needed.
This place is really highly recommended. We don't often do testimonials but this place deserved it. We will definitely come back next time we are over there. Oh, and really comfortable bed!

Thanks for turning on the weather for first time visitors to Waiheke.
Staying at Waiheke Villas made our stay relaxing away from the hustle and bustle.
Its only a 10 minute drive to other villages.
Our Villa was very clean, warm and comfortable.
We settled in for 4 days.....exploring by car, restaurants and Vineyards.
We made the novice mistake thinking Easter and Vineyards would be open, limited but it was still ok.
We rented car at Auckland Airport and took the car ferry across, very easy and fast traveling.
Once again we rate Vicky high for her service above and beyond. Thx

We spent four nights here, and will certainly return. The villas, were clean, comfortable and very well-equipped. Even my idiosyncratic request for a teapot was granted. We love peace and this spot is away from the crowd, yet close to everything beautiful Waiheke has to offer.

What an amazing place. Beautiful units, peaceful setting, stunning views and amazing sunsets. Bart made us feel at home and was a great host. The pool area was great. We had a fantastic weekend with a family group.
