The best couples resort! Everyone at the resort always goes above and beyond for the guests. As soon as you enter the doors you will be greeted by the smiling face of Mariana. The entertainment is top notch. The Playmakers always make sure everyone is included in the activities and having a good time. Ilse, Kevin, Babi, Stephanie and Pina keep the energy going at all times. The bar staff make sure no one’s glass is empty. We especially loved Eduardo, Manuel, Emir and Africa. The pool staff always ensure your beach bed or lounge chair is ready with fresh towels. Iker is amazing. The food is delicious with a variety of choices to pick from. Eunice, hostess at Arrecife, is always so welcoming and cheerful. It doesn’t matter how busy the restaurant may seem, she is always so professional and efficient. The Butlers are very attentive, making sure you never need anything while visiting the resort. Jorge was outstanding. He made reservations for us at one of the new restaurants and we enjoyed the food and wine very much. Highly recommend this resort!

We are returning guests of Desire Riviera Maya and this was our first time returning after new section Eden has been opened. We were assigned a spectacular spacious room with a pool that we enjoyed each night for our private experience. The new lobby bar area has amazing acoustics so music sounds incredible and that elevated the whole evening entertainment experience.
The staff was incredible as usual: Manuel and Africa constantly running around the pool checking on each and everyone to ensure no one is missing anything. The bartenders Jonathan, Ivan, Luis and Jorge (makes AMAZING Old Fashions) made sure my tequila shots were chilled and pineapple slices freshly cut! Guadalupe, Elena Jasmin and Eunese always greeting with heartwarming smiles and welcoming. Managers Alessio, Miguel, Daniel, Andres are seen on property throughout the day ensuring everything is running smooth.
The original side of the resort is now more quiet but we loved going there for breakfast, lunch and dinner, still dipped in a pool that is considered a “quiet pool” now but will always be in my heart as the most fun pool ever! All the memories of great times reflected back as we walked through and it warmed my heart that I get to experience it.
Special THANK YOU to Ana from Premier and Marta from guest services! Vacation would not be the same without “Welcome Home” and beautiful greeting smile of Ana. She always greets us with our favorite drinks and Marta ensured we get our VIP room upgrade. Thank you, ladies!

We had such an incredible stay at Desire RM. From the moment we checked in, Esteban took great care of us. We checked in later than most, around 8:30pm, and he had us checked in and on our way to our room in record time. It was our first time at the resort since the changes. We love them, for the record! The new pool area is absolutely gorgeous! Africa, as always, was on point with our our drinks. Her service is by far the best we've ever experienced in any resort! We wouldn't even have to ask for another round, she would deliver it just as we finished our current drink :). Daniel and Cesar at the pool concierge, were both exceptional! They were so polite and welcoming and always found us the perfect place to drop our stuff before heading into the pool. Speaking of the pool, the DJ (Hector) at the pool was awesome...he kept the energy and vibe happening all day! The play makers worked so hard at helping people engage with each other and with them. The activities were so fun to take part in. If you are in the pool, join the activities....you'll definitely have more fun! The play makers who made our trip extra special were Shirley, Babi, Kevin, George, Ilse and Pina.
Our room was made up every day, at least once, if not twice a day by the lovely Aurora. She left us beautiful towel art on our bed with little chocolates each night. The one day we couldn't leave our room, she made sure we had everything we needed, new towels, new bedding, and extra water. She was wonderful!
The serving staff at DRM, as always, were exceptional. Let me just name a few who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
Domy (buffet dinner), Jonathan Medina, Samary (buffet dinner), Jussif from the Eros Restaurant, Joshua from the buffet, and then Jonny the bartender.
I can't say enough wonderful things about this resort. I can not wait until we can return!

My husband and I booked a vacation to the beautiful Desire Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We booked the trip to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.
We splurged on the room booking the Seductive Gaeden- View Jacuzzi Suite. Upon check in we were greeted very nicely with two glasses ofchampagne. We were given bracelets/to keys and a forced sales pitch. Itfelt aggressive in nature because we wanted no part of their “stay and play” club.
When we got to the room amenities that were promised on their website were not at our disposal. At the end of night one upon arrival back to our room we found a reminder yet again of an attempt of the sales pitch.
Day two we were hounded yet again for the timeshare sales pitch. We were eating breakfast and the young gentleman sought us out. After we were done eating we went to the lobby and met with another person. I told her upfront that we were not interested in the sales pitch, the resort credit or the 15 minute massage. She then called for a third agent to come down and bombard us with something we want no part of.
We were supposed to get champagne every day, chocolate covered strawberries, fruit plates in room, a Continental breakfast every day, never happened. We were also given a Butler, that was impossible to try to track down,
if you run a resort and you promise a Garden view room at least let the people look at a garden. We got a view room and I got to look at a hotel property next-door that was dilapidated and abandoned.
There were amazing staffers at the pool Africa was unbelievable, Manuel was phenonimal. The restaurants were phenomenal, Guadalupe and Mario are the absolute shinning stars of the property. At the bar Augostino knew exactly what you wanted and had it ready for you.
The daytime at the pool the music was loud and obnoxious.
Food that you wanted to order from room service they ran out of beer that you wanted at the pool they ran out of every turn. There was some kind of a sales pitch at every turn. As you got to know the other couples vacationing you found similar stories. When I complained Via survey about my room etc not one manager tried to remedy the situation.
$4,000 plus dollars is a lot of money to be pissed off spending just to be underwhelmed. Not sure if the good outweighs all the issues.
Fun shouldn't cause a headache.

This was our second trip to Desire RM and they continue to impress. The grounds are spotless, but every single staff member provides 5 star service, every time under every circumstance. It is truly remarkable how friendly and helpful ALL the staff is, we had especially good service from Dani and George, and Enrique as well as Elizabeth and Daniel S.
But everyone there just goes above and beyond.

It was a great spot. Only one time at 3pm was there loud music but it didn't stop our siesta at all.
10/10 experience all around.

We went to Desire for the first time and stayed 2 weeks. We had a room in the old section with a balcony with a wonderful view which overlooked the "quiet pool" and the shore. The nighttime lighting is magical. We had a great time. The resort is beautiful, the food is excellent no matter where or what you ate! The staff are absolutely amazing, so attentive and friendly. The entertainment group is fun and they each are wonderful. I especially liked Bella and Mango.
We enjoyed the different atmospheres around the spicy pool, the quiet pool and the beach side.
Some downsides are:
1 - the sales emphasis and the 2 different classes of guests, where premium guests get first choice of everything and often reserved seats go empty while others stand.
2- the hot tub is too cold at night to be enjoyable. This was actually a big disappointment for us as we have a before bed not tub daily at home or on holiday. It is heated nicely for the 4:40 to 5 pm window, but seems not to be heated again when people want to use it later (11:30 to 2 am).
3- the gift shop prices can only be described as "a rip off"! Don't buy anything here if you can avoid it!
We enjoyed our visit and may visit again, but it will only be occasional.

I was visit the hotel desire at the dates of 18-25/august l like the only adults type of vibe this hotel 100% adults only the cleanest, the entertainer the food everything that's I around it’s just looks amazing plus the pool area with the funnn 24/7! this hotel it's perfect bartender, pool bars areas and everything special shout out for Martha one of the chief cleaners of the resort to always working hard with they team and to making sure that everything it's stunning and nice! As well shout for captain of restaurants and pool bars and the biggest one for the entertainment team of course I will be back soon!

My wife and I just came back from a six-day stay at The Eden Desire Resort (from September 27–30) part II, What an amazing way to celebrate my big four-zero birthday. When we were there two years ago, the Eden project was still under construction and it sat on a huge area at one of St. Austell hills; so I was excited to see how much progress has been made… suffice is to say that just like walking through gulliver´s eyes (!!), very nearly exceeded all my dreams!
The Beloved Jacuzzi room, which we stayed in —— and love this room! It is roomy, has a lot of luxury features and looks great. This time around, we never used the Jacuzzi in our room but it is a good thing to have as an option especially for days that are rainy or relaxing nights by yourself. It had just suffered a hurricane tearing through it the week before so we lucked out. That is, until we got cooled off in the party pool and savoring special dinners at different eating places all around the resort.
The service was outstanding. Josette our concierge was able to take care of every detail and LeFranc,our butler,made everything runs smoothly while being very accommodating The one highlight that stood out was the meal we had at Sahlo and Eros. Jose was our waiter on both days/nights. He was affable and personable, a fellow who also put up with our Spanish attempts and they made dinner even more enjoyable. Thank you, Jose!
The nightly Disco show was an amazing experience that we all looked forward to, along with a continuation of dancing out in the Discos Room. Our amazing Disco hostess/server Fabiola! She definitely added a lot of vibes to it and that made overall experience really fun(in one case very entertaining). We would also, after dancing with our guests and working out in the stinking disco downstairs, join other friends at a nightcap served by one of Lankir's clowning bartenders just outside the Jacuzzi tub where we all sat each evening to end another perfect day.

This is our first trip to Desire RM and a resort of this type. As first timers, there is plenty of apprehension of the unknown and unexpected. We are non LS but just love to be in a sexy environment and find alike folks to be the funnest around. First, the environment by the pool during the day and theme nights in the evening are AWESOME. You will not find this much fun at any other resort. Lead by the playmakers (Babi is our favorite!) you are bound to have an awesome time. As a first timer we didnt know what to expect but quickly the guards went down and more fun was had. Tip, bring something you swear you would never wear for theme nights because you will wear it! The service around the pool is fantastic, in particular Africa who was always ready with a new drink! We can not speak highly enough about the overall vibe.
For food we found lunch to be great and had all the basics you need. Pizza was fine, quesadillas, wraps and sandwiches were all good. Dinners left a little to be desired. While I am sure you are not coming here for the food, for the cost I would expect it to be better. We didn't go hungry by any means but if the food was as good as some of the other resorts in the area, we would never go anywhere else again. With that said, the staff truly is exceptional and will do whatever they can to ensure you are happy
(hector and Manual are amazing). Our favorite dinner was Eros where we got shrimp and pizza which both were good. Kahlo, which is their mexican restaurant, didn't actually seem to have a mexican menu. Suki we did hibachi and it was ok but there was an excessive amount of butter in everything. Also if you want a lobster or a steak, it comes with a cost of $150. We have been staying at "the excellence" resorts which or similar price points (if not less expensive) and lobster and filet is all part of the normal dining menu so we were a little surprised at a resort like this they would be nickel and diming you but no big deal there.
Also, Ingrid take through in the clutch to get us a massage on the last day. Everyone we talked to said as first timers we had to try the "erotic massage". Ingrid came through last minute getting us set up and booked and our therapists Naye and Arey were great! Do your research but my wife left saying "this was f****** amazing". The whole spa staff including the front desk at check in with Rosy and Ana made it a wonderful experience.
If you haven't gone, you should. You will never feel closer to your partner and there is no environment like it. We will be back.

We are members but even if we weren’t we would still book the low level rooms as we do! We are only in our rooms to sleep change and well other things but as long as your not a mess they are plenty big to entertain!
