Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great location and facilities. Clean, no road noise (despite being on A61) and great value. Shower over bath is at a height for small people but lots of hot water. We had a good nights sleep ready for the next leg of our journey. Great shop selling local produce and great restaurant at location.

This hotel is situated directly on A61 highway, in one of the rest areas, and it is also very close to Canal du Midi. The ratio price-quality has been excelent and for a 2* hotel, it certainly exceeded the expectations. The room was spatious enough (e..g., more spatious than Ibis and Campanille rooms) and it has a nice design on the wall. The Internet was working OK on some devices, even if it was not securely configured to work with all browsers. The parking was just in front of the hotel and the dinner restaurant was at 100 m walking distance, by crossing Canal du Midi. The best surprise was the availability of a relaxing and nice swimming pool.

Having walked about 14 miles along the Canal du Midi that day, this newish hotel was the proverbial sight for sore eyes when I arrived that evening. The desk clerk even carried by large bag (which had been delivered earlier that day) to my room. The room itself was small, but for one person comfortable. My favorite feature was the full-wall silk-screen print of boats, bathed in beautiful light, docked along the canal. From my window I could see the canal and the marina that is Port Lauragais. Very nice clean and modern bathroom, with plenty of hot water for a long shower (which I really needed). Good internet. Dinner is available a short walk away in a waterfront restaurant. Good selection of food, considering that it is really a convenient stopping place for truckers and other business travelers on the nearby Autoroute. Breakfast buffet at the hotel probably would have been better if I had not slept until almost the last minute.

Services are adequate for the prices asked. The presentation on the website is above reality. Sound isolation in the building is poor. The restaurant menue is not designed for children (not unusual for France).

Perfect to rest and eat. Beside the Canal du Midi, and near beautiful villages like Agnonet du Laurageais et Castelnaudary it's a very recomanded etape. The building is so open and has beatuful views trough their glass walls.

If the hotel had air conditioning it would be a nice place to stay overnight. In summer it is almost impossible to sleep (35 degrees). In winter it is worth the money but not in summer under a heatwave.

Very interesting and attractive location on an 'aneurysm' of land sticking out in a meander of th Canal d Midi, which we were cycling on our route across France. This hotel offered no evening meal (June 21, 2017) so we used a nearby service centre, about 5mins walk away. The self service food on offer was pricey and turned out to be poor quality and so poor value. We were exhausted after cycling all in temperatures hitting 36C and were horrified to find that the aircon had been turned off late afternoon, and despite my request to be turned in for a cooler bedroom, stayed off (hotel policy). As a cooler night's sleep was one of the reasons for overnighting in an hotel, rather than camping, this was disappointing and frankly unacceptable. Otherwise the bedrooms are comfortable and the breakfast had a good range of food.

Budget hotel that is a good on route stop off. Rooms were very clean and adequate for the night. Normally we use campanile but chose this as it was a quick stop off and cheaper. That was until you realise that there is no tea and coffee in the room. Lukewarm coffee and chocolate in the reception at €2.50 is not worth the money.

We were relieved to find this hotel after travelling several hours on the motorway in some very heavy traffic near Toulouse. It is set in a park near the canal du midi and despite being just off the motorway very quiet. It is also very picturesque. The rooms are basic but comfortable, the service friendly and the price reasonable - 72 euros for a double room and breakfast for two.
