Visited this lovely pub a few weeks ago, highly recommended food and drinks, Rachael and Matt couldn’t be more welcoming. Lovely atmosphere, all staff are lovely. Tucked away in a lovely little village.
Walked in on spec for a meal and were welcomed even though we had our 4 legged friend with us . Proper pub with a selection of beers and a decent menu to order off , we had steak pie and a fish and chips both were excellent with portion sizes that Desperate Dan and Captain Ahab would be proud of , good food good beer and friendly welcoming staff nothing else is needed.
Absolutely fantastic village pub in Nateby. We were stopped from exploring the local area due to the torrential rain, so we made for the bar after we had checked in to our room. The staff were really friendly and very chatty, and the service was superb with the drinks being very reasonably priced. We ate here and the food was of a very high quality and very tasty. It’s always a good sign when every table in the restaurant is reserved. Breakfast was also delicious, with choices of different juices etc,. Definitely one to visit if you’re in the area
Stayed here due to a wedding nearby. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom had been newly removed and the shower was good. There’s only a few rooms so it’s small and quiet. My only criticism was the size of the room coupled with the large furniture. Getting ready for a wedding without much space wasn’t that easy but not the end of the work. We ate here one evening too so definitely book a table the food was lovely! Breakfast was good, a proper full English, plenty of juice, tea/coffee and also cereal on offer. Service was speedy and friendly. Properly little pub B&B just what you’d expect.
Stayed here overnight on our way to the highlands. Lovely well equipped room, with comfy bed. Food was delicious, and a lively breakfast. There is a good dog walk a few minutes drive on the old viaduct where they can turn off lead after a long drive
