Visited with my wife, 4 young children and my in laws. Booked a table via Facebook. Quick response to my queries. Fantastic food, dog friendly. Lovely setting in the village. Great staff and large portions. Other people eating were friendly and it was a great experience.

Firstly I have to say this is one of the best b&b I have stayed in. After just returning home I almost feel inclined not to report such a beautiful little gem in the sales so as not to let the secret out to everyone, however, it would be unfair not to report on the wonderful staff that seem like one big happy family, would love to name them all as they are all amazing but Matt looked after us so well. They are all a credit to this beautiful little pub. Cleanliness is spot on, service is spot on and food is amazing!! Best Sunday roast I have ever eaten out!! It’s a quaint little quirky pub/restaurant where everyone locally seems to meet up and eat together. It has the most delightful back garden area where you can peacefully enjoy a drink whilst viewing the dales covered in

We booked for a meal here On Sunday evening while staying at the local caravan park. 10/10 from us. We were dubious in the current situation of corona however the service from start to finish was fantastic. We were made to feel safe, ample of space, the staff were like whippets cleaning everything soon as customers left including there hands often. The staff working were efficient, super friendly and nothing was to much trouble, later on in the evening we found out they were mother and son not something you see often especially when they worked so well together! What a credit that young boy is to his mum and the pub. Well done everyone. The food was second to none beautifully presented and quite clearly all homemade. We will certainly be back.

Room was cosy and inviting. Staff were warm and welcoming and could not have been more accommodating. My family were in town for a funeral and the warm welcome and pleasant stay made the whole experience that much more bearable.
