This hotel was booked by my Agent as part of a cruise package. A small boutique type place. My room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The location near Darling Harbour is good for exploring central Sydney. The food I ate in the hotel was good.

This hotel is in a superb position to explore Sydney and the waterfront. Very close to Darling Harbour. The room was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food I ate in the Hotel was good. I don't know how much I was charged because my stay was part of a package arranged by my Agent.

The hotel is unique with an interesting history. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Front desk personnel were friendly and very helpful. The service in the restaurant was very good. Although the menu is limited, the food was well prepared. Special mention to Gabriella who was extremely pleasant, personable and helpful. Sydney's restaurants are all expensive, (especially wine) but we were very surprised to be charged extra for about a tablespoon of jam for our toast. Best thing about the hotel is the location, near a rail stop and not far from Darling Harbor ferry. There is also an IGA store a block away.

The rooms are close to darling harbour and such value for money. They are no doubt a more “intimate” setting in terms of size. Every room has such a funky / arty uniqueness to them that is so different to the larger scale hotels which makes it an experience and enjoyment to walk into. I would give a great review for the hotel on its location and rooms but the reason for my 5 star review is absolutely due to the staff! All the staff i interacted with were fantastic but I give a special mention to Moksha! She is was an absolute pleasure to interact with. She made us feel like we were her invited guests rather than her paying customers.

This is a lovely hotel, of excellent value and superbly situated to be in place to experience the wonders of Sydney. The rooms and decide were very nice, the only comment I would have is that the inside is quite dark/gloomy. Staff were very kind and we enjoyed it for a brief city break

Hey Dr_Research_300! Thanks a bunch for checking in with us! We're thrilled to hear you loved our spot in Sydney and felt the value was on point! Our rooms and services are designed with lots of love, but we're sorry to hear you found the interior a bit gloomy. We'll definitely shed some light on that (pun intended)! Our staff are all about spreading kindness and we're stoked you had a blast on your city break with us! We can't wait to welcome you back for more Sydney wonders!

Great boutique hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance to Pyrmont, Darling Harbour and general CBD etc.. I visited for a few days and used the restaurant and lobby area in between work meetings which was really convenient with great coffee, attentive staff and quiet surroundings. Room had everything I needed for a work trip and will come back for personal also.. The bonus was access to the snap fitness/gym less than 5 mins away from the hotel with all the gear and friendly staff also..

We had booked at another hotel and fortunately their pipe burst before we checked in. That hotel recommended this hotel. We were so impressed when we walked in. The atmosphere is classic and authentic from the time period with exposed wood, bricks and beams. They have a nice desk for you to sit at when you check in. The hotel is updated with Glass Elevators and a very nice Restaurant and Bar. They also have a free Candy Bar area which is great for families and tempting for couples like us! The room was beautifully appointed. The bed ( a King size) was super comfortable! There was no noises from the outside at night. We slept very well. The staff was super helpful. They helped us find a room that would could check into early which was much appreciated after our 17.5 hour flight. Darling Harbour is a short walk to the end of the street and over the bridge! When I come back to Sydney I will stay here again. I believe it was excellent value for all that we received. The staff even helped me with a shave kit since I forgot mine. I strongly recommend this hotel.

First of all, this was the most comfortable bed we slept in, in two months of travel. Fabulous. Secondly, we arrived after a red eye flight and were very happy to be accommodated with an early checkin. So appreciated. The location was great for walking all over Sydney, the staff was friendly and helpful, the decor was funky, and there was even a free candy bar in the lobby … I considered it healthy energy medicine.

Hi Loren, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! It's always a pleasure to know that our beds have the magical power to make even the most seasoned travelers feel like they're sleeping on clouds. As for your early check-in, we're all about turning frowns into smiles, especially after those dreaded red-eye flights. My team works tirelessly to ensure that your experience is nothing short of amazing, and I'm delighted to hear they hit the mark. Ah, yes, the funky decor and the lolly bar—our way of adding a little sugar rush to your stay! Who needs regular medicine when you've got candy, right? It's all about balance, after all. Thanks for such a glowing review! We'll be here with open arms (and fluffy pillows) whenever you need us. Cheers Gitta Margaretha Acting General Manager

What a great quirking hotel. A short walk to Darling Harbor, great entrance area & rooms. Little things they do, a few waters & soda's free in room. In the entrance area is reception, bar & eatery, They have about 8 jars of lollies, free for customers enjoyment. The Staff are very friendly & helpful. Parking is available across the road under the Novotel for 24hrs at a cost of $60 with a parking ticket validated at reception. The only disappointment was the breakfast if include. No self serve items, you can pick one main item from a selection of about 8, unique items & a tea or coffee, I asked for a large capp but got a reg. I had the claypot fried eggs in tomato's (Shakshuka) with Lebanese bread, the eggs are actually poached but the bread dry & tough. They really need to add a few self serve item, A couple of juice. Toaster with a few varieties of bread, butter & jams etc Even yoghurt & fruit. This would dramatically improve their offer.
