I was here for a conference (which I have attended at this hotel before). The hotel has recently changed hands and it is a great shame. Previously it was pleasantly quirky with good food. This time the food was really poor, the bar area had no seating and the staff were not

The only good thing about this hotel is the view! The food was terrible, the bed was hard as stone and the service was moody! The hotel is in very bad shape, and is in need of a modernization. It has no charm. I can’t recommend the place.

Nice view at Lago Maggiore if you have a room with lake view. This is very noisy. If you book a room on the backside of the hotel, it looks like you are in the forest, very peacefull. Room was recently reniewd but bathroom still very old with fungus. For a 4* hotel, this is

I cannot remember in all my trips a hotel that did not meet any of my needs. From stuffy old decorated rooms without functioning air conditioning (staff finally able to fix the second day), to mold throughout the bathroom. It was impossible to shower without completely soaking

Great Location - the rest terrible. Reservations would not allow modifications. Registration could not find room key. Dirty. Staff walks in elevator in front of guests. Dirty. Maid knocks on door at 9.15. Dirty. Old and Dirty. Bad manners. Breakfast horrible. NEVER again, NEVER

Hi I’m sorry but I’m not much help. We flew into Milan Malposa airport and caught the Alibus that went from the terminal and dropped us at the hotel. It was very convenient. The alibus needs to be pre booked as they use a different size bus depending on how many people have booked Regards

Buongiorno Deborah, we are planning to close our pool mid september, following in any case weather situation at that time. Kind regards A. Rigo GM

Left there yesterday. We had room 265. It was refurbished and ok. We had a balcony overlooking the lake. Yes there is a busy road outside but it is not very busy late at night. The bathroom could have done with modernising and the seal around the bath was mouldy but the shower was actually fine. The bed really comfy. Plenty of wardrobe space. The common areas upstairs were a bit shabby and I guess from the comments so are some of the older rooms. The whole hotel was really clean. The pool man spent hours every day getting every spec from the pool. Our room was spotless every day and clean white towels changed daily. The breakfast was great. As much as you wanted and everything including Glutin free cereals and soya free dairy. The staff try really hard to make your stay as enjoyable as they can. Belgirate is a bit dead and public transport isn't very regular. Especially in the evening but unusually for the area they have plenty of parking. We had a lovely stay and I would happily return.

Hi - was the pool operational?
The pool isn't operational until around mid June, really disappointing as it does look like it will be lovely. Nice hotel as a base if you can live without the pool!

Hello, I don't know about the shuttle but I can tell you that sadly the pool doesn't open till June. Enjoy your stay.
