The Reni Pani lodge is a lovely place to stay to get good access to the Satpura tiger reserve. The room (small house really!!!) was fantastic... large, comfortable, well looked after and private. The food was excellent and the staff team were lovely and did everything they could to make us fell welcome and give us a great experience. The only very minor fly in the ointment was communication from the management about the types of game drives we could do. If you go it is worth deciding beforehand whether you want to take part in the night drive or canoe down the lake beforehand so that it is all clear on arrival (all brilliant and worth doing). The swimming pool is unheated, but nice once you were in!!! The naturalist we had, Sagar(apologies if the spelling is wrong) was absolutely outstanding and was highly knowledgeable about every aspect of the wildlife.
Would definitely recommend.

Reni Pani is accessed via several kilometres of unmade road, giving it a feeling of appealing isolation. It was one of a number of excellent lodges that we stayed in during twelve days of safaris in Central India. It would be impossible to find any fault with Reni Pani. We stayed in one of the cottages, which was beautiful: a huge bedroom/living room with very high ceiling; stairs leading up to an outside covered seating area, and a cleverly designed bathroom with lots of storage space and an excellent shower. The style might best be described as luxurious contemporary rustic, if such a category exists! We loved it.

The hospitality was fantastic, and in keeping with the food, which was creative, varied and consistently delicious. Some meals were served in the outdoor eating areas, by firelight, with billions of stars overhead, and an almost tangible sense of tranquillity.

Service was impeccable at all times, from all involved, but we wanted to particularly mention our naturalist, who was extremely knowledgeable and worked very hard to enable us to see the various species we wanted to see. His enthusiasm and interest made our safaris highly rewarding and left us with memories that will last a lifetime. Overall, a fantastic experience in every respect.

We stayed in this property for two nights. It was a family stay for a new year vacation. This place is at a distance of two hours from Bhopal. Road is good. This place is literally in the middle of forest but has all the amenities and comfort one can ask for.
We stayed in luxury tent and it was luxurious. The bed was huge, it has a nice separate sitting area, his and her wash basins, locker, tea maker, study table, nice bathroom with 24 hours running hot water, all the necessary toiletries. There is a nice porch outside tent where one can enjoy morning tea and evening drinks. All tents have different view but very safe.
The food and its quality is top notch. Staff is excellent, polite, courteous and ever smiling. There is a nice pool in the property. They also have one small library which has some games too and one small gift shop. There is no room service but without reminding the staff, they make up bed morning and evening, room is cleaned twice a day. We noticed that every time we came in our room after dinner, there was a hot water bag in our beds to make it warm and comfortable before we sleep. We went for a safari in the buffer zone and it was good too. I would like to thank Jason our naturalist who made our safari trip memorable.
One should be mentally prepared that in this property signal and internet will be an issue. Though there is a free wi-fi in the library but it doesn’t have good strength. The positive side is that you get to spend quality time with the family or friends rather than hooked up on mobile. In my opinion this is how a vacation should be.
So if anyone who is looking for a good family time and want to disconnect from rest of the world then this is a place to be.

The Best Jungle Property So Far ! Must Visit Place ! Camping highly recommended !
Reni Pani is simply an amazing jungle property. We stayed in Tents which overlooks a beautiful small lake. Tents are simply amazing and very very beautiful. The comfort level is next level & every small detail is taken care of.

The highlight of our stay was the Reni Pani Food & Camping in the Forrest ! Chef Dheeraj makes excellent food & makes sure that our dietary requirement is met. The different soups every meal are the hightlight. Too Good.
Camping in the forrest was the best thing we did in Satpura. It really is the best and I personally feel everyone must do once in their lifetime.

Satpura gives the best forrest experience with so many different options to choose (Like safaries, camoing, walking safari, canoe, boat safari, etc ). We were very close to spotting tigers & leopards but werent lucky enough. Infact there was a lot of activity in and around the property itself. The breakfast view everytime in the forrest were excellent. Special thanks to our Naturalists Omkar & Arvind for the excellent recommendations & the superb experiance in Satpura. Knowledgable & always fun to be around them.

The Staff of Reni Pani is very kind, helpful & the always make sure to take care of every small details. Manager Erwin was very helpful throughout our stay.

Visit to Satpura & Reni Pani is must ! Highly recommend Camping & different soups in Reni Pani !

Wasn't expecting to go glamping in the middle of India, but was so pleasantly surprised. Right from the friendly and courteous staff that waved us in when we reached to the time we left, it was a unique and memorable experience.
We had 3 cottages, went on a morning safari, and ate all our meals at the hotel. Each of the cottages had a veranda, an outdoor shower, large bathrooms, king size beds and bedrooms.
The keen eye to sustainable living is highly commendable especially for a luxury accommodation and little touches like providing insect repellent etc is a great idea.
The pictures of the rooms definitely don't do justice to the actual rooms.
Shout out to Irwin and Sharna who manage the property really well, and each of the staff members who were super attentive, and polite.

My only critique would be signage/directions to the resort are a little lacking and can be improved so that guests who don't have GPS access can get there more easily. Also while there were a lot of options for food, the taste was catered more towards non-indians, so it felt a little meh compared to typical Jehan Numa style meals.

Overall - Highly recommend, and would visit again.

This is not a typical hotel stay, or a resort or an offbeat resort. It is a lifetime experience. Loved every bit of it. On my radar list from the last 7 years, I finally managed to tick it off this October.
The place has an own charm of its own with the lavish rooms, excellent in house organic food, beautiful common areas and the team. They go that extra way to give in to all your demands starting from room décor, to surprise cakes to private dining setup, to guiding you with your daily activity. A special shout out to Erwin, Arvind and their team for making us have the best time of our life.
We were very lucky to spot a Leopard, bear, snakes, deer, barking dogs, bison to name a few. The kids were amazed to see the leopard walking Infront of our jeep from a distance of just 50 feet. The jungle is very neat and it stills has a sense of being original and unexplored as it is not yet commercialised like the Corbett and the Kanhas of the world.
The best luxury we enjoyed was being disconnected from the TV, phone, internet, social media and ipad. No other resort will ever be able to provide you this facility and we as a family really had the best time together without any of the outer distractions.
We went on 3rd October, just as the resort started operations and we missed out on the horse riding, Tandoor, outside dining to name a few because of the delayed rains. On our departure day, it rained so heavily that the roads were blocked due to over following streams. Ideal time to visit would be November on wards when the entire setup is back in shape.
Overall we like to give a big shout out to the entire team for making our Durga Puja vacations one the best.

Exceptional hospitality overall. Experienced naturalists ensured games drives were informative as well as fun. Manager helped plan our stay on arrival in a very relaxed and friendly manner. Chef went above and beyond to cater to special diets and even planned custom menus to celebrate a family celebration. All staff in general were amazing and the attention to detail was faultless.

The property itself is exceptional and leaving after 4 days felt like leaving a natural paradise. Highly recommended, don't miss out !

Have been to a lot of safaries in India but Reni Pani is truly an incredible forest lodge which is right in the middle of the forest while giving us luxurious stay. We came here for 2 nights and both the days were truly magical! This place exceeded our expectations in everything stay, hospitality, service, safaries. We stayed in tent as well as cottage and the tents were super luxurious. No one can beat the hospitality and management of this place it is just superb, very warm and courteous people and staff who always make you feel very homely and even where the smallest thing of ours is taken care of. Both the nights, there were different and exclusive setup for dinner for us which gave us a very lively atmosphere. A big and special thanks to SHARNA the lodge manager who took care of us made us feel special and also who gave the best surprise on my birthday in the middle of forest. A big shoutout to OMKAR and ARVIND, our naturalists for the safaries who were very friendly, warm, welcoming ,very knowlegeable and enthusiastic people who made our two days the best and who have become our friends now.
Have come back with the best lifetime memories
100% recommendation to all the people.
I am definitely visiting Reni Pani again this year.Looking forward to those days again.
Thankyou Reni pani team

Lovely place to stay when visiting Satpura. Great staff - all very helpful and friendly. Excellent local naturalist. Very good rooms (cottages). Sadly let down by the food, which was dull and boring, including the picnic breakfasts. Seems to operate on minimum spend on food ingredients, with little variety and very little flavour. No early tea and biscuits offered before early morning game drives unless (like us) you asked for it. Food was not a patch on the other resorts we stayed at in Madhya Pradesh. Pity. Otherwise it would have been 4 or 5 stars.

We were there in mid-February and I was happy to have brought a warm sweater, a coat, a scarf, and even gloves for the early morning drives and the late afternoon returns when it was chilly. I have no first hand knowledge of their temperatures in April. What I wished I had brought were clear goggles to prevent dust from irritating my eyes.
