The resort is next to the golf course with a direct access to it. The room was well equipped and ideal for 2 persons. Very clean. One of the best RCI resorts we stayed in since 2000. Very helpfull staff.
From the minute we arrived to the day we departed all the staff were extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It had all the facilities you needed for self catering. The Wi-Fi was very good. Happy hour was very popular in the evening. Every day there was a different cocktail. This was a time to get to know other guests. All the guests that we spoke to were all very positive about the resort and most were return guests. We ate in the restaurant most nights and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. There were also themed evenings with al a carte still being available. The house wine was a very good Portuguese wine at less than 15 Euros. There was also a very extensive wine list. The resort had a very good system for sun bed allocation. You could book where you would like to sun bathe on the day or the day before and when you were ready the pool staff would provide the bed covers and sanitise them for your use. My wife and I would like to say thankyou for a great holiday and to all the staff including reception, catering, cleaning and pool service. We hope to visit again next year.…
Having not been able to visit for 2 years it was great to be back once again the minute you walk through the front door we were initially met by Ruben and his colleagues at reception all of whom are very welcoming as indeed are all the staff, you do feel part of the four Seasons family, your apartment when you close the front certainly feels like home, the efforts that have been made to deal with the Covid outbreak can readily be seen, the apartment was spotless with additional visits to change bedding towels etc, sadly the indoor swimming pool was closed for works, the bar service was a little slow, with the 2 hour happy hour period which was impacted by both Social distancing and reduced seating especially as the winter was starting to set in meaning it was not popular to sit outside, never the less we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning once again in April 2022.…
What an absolutely fantastic place to stay! We were only in Portugal for a weekend break and chose the Four Seasons based on its location and great reviews…we we’re definitely not disappointed! The 2 bedroom apartment was so spacious and well equipped and all of the staff were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this fantastic hotel and would definitely recommend it.
Like many members this was our first return for 2 years for obvious reasons, we didn't know what to expect so here is our view of it. On arrival the place looked great and our greeting was good, the reception is Covid friendly with Winston ( model dog )showing the way with his mask on. We were told fairly quickly that guests do not need to wear masks but all staff do....ok no problem. Our room was well updated and again as always well stocked with everything possible and immaculate, we has 5 visits from cleaners new towels/bedding during our 2 weeks. The pool areas again good but we don't sunbathe. The indoor pool was being renovated the indoor jacuzzi gone for a shower area, this will be great when finished. Outdoor seating areas remodelled and all Covid friendly. So all in all no change of standards all areas extremely clean, well organised, and a good team of backroom staff keeping on top of it all, well done. So we expected to be met and greeted at some point by familiar faces in particular the Clubhouse/Bar Managers, members will know who we mean! but no sign of them or some other long-term familiar personalities, where and why have they gone ??? So as expected, there was no entertainment, no Monday meet and greet drinks but the Happy 2 hours is still on and here lies a problem. You want to maintain social distancing quite right but you also want as many people as possible in the resort as allowed and you entice them all with a Happy 2 hours to the same place only one outcome NO SOCIAL DISTANCING and to make matters worse at the Clubhouse bar area the seating is spaced for social distancing and a certain amount of guests, so now you have far too many guests possibly arriving at the same time. Groups move chairs so they can sit together, so tables are left bare of chairs. The new untrained staff (at the moment) cant cope with the amount of guests, there is only one order/pay area at the bar, answer put another one ? All in all we again enjoyed our stay. So until things get back to normal ???…
