This is a small family run hotel about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Limone. We stayed in May for hubbies 50th belated birthday treat with 5 of our friends. We had a top floor room with an amazing view of the lake. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The owners run the hotel with their two sons and nothing is too much trouble for them, even bringing drinks out to us whilst we were lounging around the pool. They were also more than happy to keep the bar open late in the evening and I'm sure we're cleared them out of Gin after we discovered their Marmalade Gin cocktail !!! This is a fantastic hotel and if you book elsewhere in Limone then you miss a real gem of a hotel. Keep up the good work guys you are great !!
I really liked this place. Located in a great area with a small walk in to the centra. The staff of the hotel was fantastic, nice and helpfull. They recommended a day trip over the lake witch we enjoyed very much. No aircondition and that was a big issue for me, I should gave checked more thurrow before booking. Shame on me :) everything else was so great! I truly recommend to stay here if you csn handle the heat :D
The only reason for us to make a 300? km detour on our way from Venice to Milano, was to stay in the (still existing) hotel where my point of origin lays (and "hence" my namesake too). It was a more than pleasant surprise to find out the room was very spacious, very clean and most inportant, very comfortable. All rooms have a Lago di Garda view, which is great, of course. It was too cold to test the pool. but it looked pleasant and would be very comfortable in Summer. Lago di Garda was more or less across the street. During diner and breakfast, we noticed that the patron was very busy showing his personal attention to every guest, and making sure everything around dinner/breakfast went smoothly. The quality of the food and choice at the buffet were good.
A beautiful room overlooking the stunning view of the lake was very welcoming after a trip North from Milan. The hotel is very well-appointed; provides an excellent hot or cold breakfast, & has a well-tended bar. It is about 5 minutes' walk from the lakeside. In Summer, provides a swimming pool & a few outdoor activities which would be good for families on holiday. We were very reluctant to leave after only 1 night en route to the Dolomites.
