Initially I was simply looking for a decent value-for-money hotel, to spend the night while I was in Transit and I booked a room because it was in a good location and had a decent price. I was really in for a treat however. The room was very decent in size, for one or two people and especially the bed was huuge... The functions of the room could be used through an iPad Nano that was next to the bed, which allowed for the lights to be switched off and the colour of a hidden light to be specifically set, allowing me to set a cosy mood in the room. All of the information (food menu, room functions) I needed were shown in the device, which allowed me to familiarise myself with my options, without having to interact with people, which makes me nervous sometimes. The shower was really lovely and spacious as well and as a taller person I appreciated that the shower-head was significantly taller than me and I didn't have to crouch underneath it. Moreover, the two shampoos that were provided smelled really nice (especially the citizenM PM, gotta try it) and made me smell all fragrant :D I did not come in much contact with the staff due to the pandemic so I can't speak much about the service, but they were very helpful in our few interactions and came off as friendly. I would truly recommend it, especially for couples.

I stayed for one night before taking a flight at CDG. I was looking for an affordable hotel, for the price I didn't have the highest expectations. Citizen M was a lot better than expected. The rooms have everything you want in a small package: while the dimensions are not very large, they have a large bed, a rain shower with 150+ nozzles and impressively high flow, better than Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, or any other big brand hotels I have ever been to. Nice shower gel/shampoo (doesn't feel cheap, smells very nice) - Large TV with free movies on demand, ipad control of the lighting in any color you want (also light patterns), ipad is also controlling temperature and blinds. Very clean. Congratulations, I will not stay at any other hotel while transiting at CDG, and I will look for that brand in other places..
Only small negative, the restaurant has limited choices, my meal was average, and the service is with a buzzer. But I am still rating 5 stars as my primary use for this place was the hotel and the hotel can't be beat

Had a great experience at the citizenM. It is well organized and well thought through, allowing the hotel to provide great value at an affordable rate. The location is perfect if you need to catch a plane, in particular at Terminal 3 in CDG (walking distance).

Very practical if you travel from CDG, it is a good option for a good price. Room are comfortable and service standard. The cleaning sometimes is not the best. Easy to reach from the terminal and there is a covered runway to reach the hotel so in case of rain you do not need to hold an umbrella.

I felt very welcome, the personal has been very kind and helpful. Also the room was silent, with a view onto the airfield, big jet liners passing by. A comfortable bed, free cinema, including adult films. For me its been the first time i experienced smart home appliance , ruling everything with an easy to use mini iPad. All worked seamless, light, air condition, blinds, curtain and media.
The breakfast was very good including fresh orange juice.

We stayed here for 1 night and booked last minute as a strike had led to us having to stay near the airport.

The Good.

1. The place is quite funky, with a cool bar area. The rooms are also minimalist in design and have modern decor.

2. The rooms are pretty small and the bed can only be accessed from one side with the other against the window. The sink is in the main room and the bathroom door is right opposite it. Overall it is a bit cramped although the IPad for controls and the options for changing the lighting are quite good. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable. The shower is very good and easy to use.

3. The hotel was good value especially as booked last minute.

4. The location is convenient to Terminal 3 and the bus station.

5. The bar is good, the food was reasonable and service was also good and multilingual.

6. The check in and check out are all done via computer terminal with helpful staff on standby if needed.

The Bad.

1. As mentioned above, the room is very cramped. I think it would be fine for a single person but feels very lacking in space for two.

Overall

A reasonable option but the rooms are pretty small.

Overall this is a nice hotel. The employees were all great and the breakfast buffet is decent. Short uber ride to local restaurants and short walk to the airport train. The bed was very comfortable and the black out curtains worked great. The bathroom offers a stand up shower with a removable wand and a rain fall facet. The bathroom’s shape makes me think it belongs on a space ship. The room didn’t have an ironing board and the hotel doesn’t have a gym but for the price it’s hard to complain

I have enjoyed very much the stay at the hotel! Especially commendable is the protocol around COVID-19 (buttons in the elevator were cleaned every 30 minutes). All staff members are friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the art in public hallways.

I had the best customer service I've ever experienced in the greater Paris area. The staff at the CitizenM at CDG were attentive, friendly, and frequently went above & beyond their responsibilities. The rooms are a little on the smaller size and probably best for 1-2 people maximum but the beds are very comfortable and the shower is amazing. I also liked the scent of the soaps and shampoo in the hotel.

Very loud, very bright and very busy. Decor all reds and black, and every wall covered in things. Not restful at all! Cheap, yes, but the rooms are tiny ie 2 metres wide. The basin and shower are built within that 2metres, so you have to squeeze by your partner. You have to climb up high to get into your bed. You switch on lights, alter the blinds, turn off the tv all by an ipad - WHY? What was wrong with ordinary switches? Our ipad malfunctioned on both our visits to this hotel and we had to call staff. Then when my husband checked out, leaving me to do a final check in the room, the blackout blind was suddenly rolled down and all the lights turned out , leaving me in the dark and having to finish packing by the light of my phone. I called Reception who for some reason promised to call back - why not just restore the power? - but they did nothing. Yes, they did nothing. They left me in the dark. I left the wretched hotel in tears and late for my onward connection.

Hi there citizen MimiYorkshire, First of all we are grateful for the time you spent writing to us, your feedback help us to grow and answer to your wish in a better way. It is true our room are answering to simple need, and we believe after a long trip human needs a nice shower and a comfy bed to have a nice recovering night. We do have a funny and different design, we were looking for more colors and efficient furnitures which change. We understand everybody doesn't have the same taste, also the ipad is the funny gadget of the room you do not need to use it compulsory, there are regulars switches on the wall. We always try to give the best help to any request from your side, and the team is available 24/7 to give you a hand, this is unfortunate something wrong happened with the lights and we apologize if you felt not understood. We can promise we will give our best to any future request. We hope to see you again and we wish you had a safe travel, Manon

Yes, Citizen M offers day deal rooms. I absolutely love this hotel where I stay every time I have a transfer flight in CDG with a night or a day to spend. The welcome is great, service excellent, restaurant and bar available, great decoration in the whole hotel, and moreover super design in the rooms. Ask the staff is spelling a perfect English (almost foreigners) a very good quality for the price. Enjoy.
