The Rose & Crown Hotel is WA's most historic hotel and recognised by the National Trust as a significant historic landmark. Situated in leafy Guildford WA, surrounded by restaurants & on the doorstep to the Swan Valley wineries. The hotel has 28 3.5 motel units in its lodge and 4 boutique rooms within the hotel (some entry restrictions). The hotel & lodge have undergone a recent major renovation since being purchased in mid 2004 by the current owners operators Mark & Tracy Weber. In 2007 the hotel was selected by the Sunday Times as a tourism hotspot with the biggest beer garden in the city and two well known restaurants. The Rose & Crown Hotel is the ideal location for a stayover or outer city getaway.

Plenty of time to sit and sip or eat big or small; great areas to be in the crowd or alone. Fires in winter and shade in summer. Inside or out this ones a good location close to the train and easy access to the valley.

Good accommodation and excellent food, both in variety and quality - from silver service to bar snacks. All the staff were helpful and very friendly too. Guildford is an interesting town in the Swan valley with antique shops and access to wineries, breweries, chocolate factories

We got there after office hours easy to get room key. Room was small but well appointed & very clean and we were able to get a good meal in the beer garden although the food and drinks were very expensive for what we ordered that was the only disappointment

You don't need a shuttle service !! you are at the end of the runway so just stand with your thumb out!! No, it's Perth, no shuttle service available - get an over priced taxi .......
