Westbrook Park at Little Hereford, Ludlow, Shropshire, is nestled in a pretty orchard on the banks of the River Teme. It is a peaceful ‘get away from it all park’ easily accessible from the Midlands. With fishing along half a mile of the river and public footpaths throughout the valley. The park is just a few miles from the delightful town of Tenbury Wells and charismatic Ludlow

This is a great site, facilities are clean with most people abiding by the current restrictions.
Arriving at the site was pleasant enough and the staff were helpful.
The pitches are a great size and the waste water mechanism is fantastic was really impressed with the ingenuity of what they had, made life so much easier.
We were there over the bank holiday so it was full, there were lots of kids but at least they were not screaming and shouting they were just playing nicely riding their bikes. Had more of an issue with an elderly couple who were obviously a little hard of hearing and insensitive to others and each evening had their windows and door open with the tv blasting.
Except for that it was mainly tranquil where we were.
The dog walk area was pleasant and on the whole people picked up.
Nothing to do with the site but as soon as you got a couple of miles away on the footpaths as often happens these days they were impassable due to ill repair or dangerous conditions. A shame because it would have been great to have enjoyed more of the area on public footpaths.
It is only this latter point which will stop me from returning in the future.
If you are not a Walker, I would certainly recommend you try out this little gem of a site.

Come back for the second year running. I am not a keen camper but I love this site. It is kept immaculate by Alwyn and the team. It is in a secluded location which I like right next to the Teme. The pitch areas make you feel you are in your own private area. The toilets and wash facilities are kept immaculate. There is a little football pitch and a park for the children. I cannot really fault the park at all. The only suggestion I could make is that would it be possible to have an essentials shop in reception area just selling bread and milk etc.
We will definitely be visiting the site again and I am writing this whilst still here for the next few days. Excellent.

My wife and I enjoyed a Birthday Weekend at the Westbrooke Holiday Park together with our Miniature Schnauzer dogs.

This was our second visit this year and again we thoroughly enjoyed our break. The park is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities anyone could require whilst touring in a caravan.

The dog walk area is alongside the River Teme and has a lovely walk to a nearby church. The dog walk area also incorporates a picnic area, which we were able to enjoy with our friends, who accompanied us.

Julie the site manager and Alwyn the site owner are friendly and helpful and always have time for a chat.

The site is conveniently located near Ludlow and Tenbury Wells in an area of wonderful countryside.

There is no doubt that this site will become one of our favourite return to locations and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Visited Westbrook which seemed a lovely well run site facilities were clean and immaculate and within a 2 minute walk you were on the riverbank, such a shame that on the 2nd night we were told to turn the music down by the owner (it wasn’t loud but we obliged and apologised)
the 3rd night we decided not to put any music on but this time we were told again at 9.30pm we were laughing too loudly, and told we’d have to be totally quiet by 10,
(bear in mind there was a festival going on nearby) we said well you’re advertising free Wi-Fi and not once could we use it and the tv was intermittent so we couldn’t watch anything either, we felt so uncomfortable that we said we wouldn’t return again to him responding “we weren’t wanted anyway” the next day we asked other visitors in close proximity to our caravan if they had heard any noise coming from our van and they all said they hadn’t heard anything and we’re quite shocked, our son came down with a 5 and a 2 year old and he was showing them how to use the swing (he’s not a heavy man) and again the owner told him “get off that swing” it’s for under 12s, totally acceptable if said in the right manner.

So to summarise If you DONT want Wi-Fi you DONT want to watch tv, you like to go to bed at 9.30 you like the feeling of being in a prison camp where the warden patrols at 6pm every night in a golf buggy, then this is the site for you !!! and if you have kids don’t think of taking a bike/scooter or roller skates as they aren’t permitted.
The staff that we encountered were all helpful and pleasant just a shame the owner is a miser in 28yrs of touring and going to masses of different sites we’ve never encountered one like this and never want to again.
P.S. if any of the information was on the website about being on a curfew at 10 and kids could use the park but do nothing else we’d have saved ourselves the bother of what would have been a pleasurable stay, totally disappointing stay and will not be returning !!!!!

We arrived at Westbrook holiday park for a 4 night break with our friends - bank holiday.

1. We were told at at 9.30pm to turn our music down even though it was on very quiet

2. A couple of nights after at 9.15pm we were told to stop laughing loudly in our own awning our response was ‘we won’t be coming here again’ and the owners response was ‘what makes you think we want you back here’

We go away in our caravan regular and have never been treated this way.

Only go to this caravan site if you want to read a book and sit in silence not if you want to enjoy yourself as it simply is not ALLOWED.

We will NOT be returning, owner is mannerless and has no people skills what to ever.

We could not wait to get away from this place.

The only one positive is the site was lovely and well kept, but the owners attitude was simply bang out of order and unprofessional.

We are in our 50’s and was made to feel like we could not enjoy ourselves, that’s what you go on holiday for isn’t it?!

STAY AWAY.

Had a short two night stay with husband and three children. I can honestly say this is an amazing site. Fantastic clean showers , all procedures in place for Covid. Wonderful play park , as it’s mid September I did expect a more mature non child group of visitors, but I can say everyone was very helpful and friendly as were the site owners when we asked for a late stay on our last day .
Lovely and quiet in the morning and evening, very well placed for Ludlow and lots of National Trust parks.
I can’t wait to visit again .

We have been visiting this lovely immaculate site for quite a few years, and I must say it comes out tops. We recommended it to a few friends who who also visited and they agree its one of the best. It's so relaxed on the river dog walk. Left alone, what more can one want. Julie goes out of her way to make sure she finds a pitch that suits your needs. The facilities come out trumps. The fully serviced pitches just make it so much easier. No filling up the aqua roll. Yes, the pub is closed so just fill up your fridge more and chill. Tescos is 10 minutes away. We've had takeaways and sat on the picnic tables next to the river. Best ever. Thankyou to all at westbrook. See you soon.

Not a child friendly place. Kids aren’t allowed to ride their bikes or seemingly make any noise at all.
I wouldn’t advise to go if you have children or want to enjoy yourselves. Owner is a strange character.
Very clean and tidy site but very expensive.

Don’t be fooled by the nice pictures and write up.
Whilst it is a pristine site - there is absolutely nothing here. The pub is derelict and there is nothing nearby that is walkable. The owners attitude is abysmal! You honestly couldn’t pay me to stay here again! Lots of seasonal and store and stay ‘residents’ who quite frankly do not want tourers there! A very strict no noise policy after 10 - everyone in bed by 9 and constant patrolling of the owner in his buggy telling every man and his dog off.
Avoid like the plague!

We are 3 miles from Tenbury Wells and about 5/6 miles from the lovely towns of Ludlow and Leominster . The pub which is not on the park is sadly closed but is nothing to do with us. We have a picnic area on the riverside which is lovely and good for spotting birds - Kingfishers if your lucky . This is part of a public footpath along the river . We are surrounded by lovely countryside. We have 14 Seasonal and our stay and store is very popular we also have a lot of guest who return to us regularly . I don't understand why you say they don't want tourers here because we only have tourers motorhomes/ campers and tents . Our regulars are always friendly and helpful i.e. will help with awnings or setup of free view boxes . We ask guest to be quieter from 10pm which we do not think is unreasonable . Everybody in bed by 9 is a silly comment to make! We use the buggy to check the facilities and drive around to make sure everybody is ok or if they have anything we can help with and also to be social with our guest the only people who see it as "patrolling" are perhaps not the most considerate of campers to other guest.

What a lovely welcoming campsite. Reception etc. couldn't do enough for you. Clean and tidy facilities, very impressed, especially the privacy curtains and individual shower cubicles. Great family bathroom available, washing area and laundry facilities exceptional. Great childrens play area, and easy access to the riverside (great for paddling) Even tables and chairs there. Perfect for family holidays. Large pitches for XL Tents.
Owners and Manager really polite, great hidden gem, only downside was the Wifi which was great near reception, but near our pitch non existent.
Will be going again.
