Generally a good site with good service and facilities, but there are some points to be aware of. It is noisy at night, music till 11 (ok), but low flying helicopters and a nearby trunk road give lots of background noise. Secondly the waste disposal is inside the toilet/shower block so when someone empties, standby to wretch! And then the loos. They have no seat so you squat, but no loo roll. The loo roll dispenser is on the wall outside, so you guess the amount, go in and cross your fingers!

For the same price one could get either a good spacious pitch or a very small one. Many pitches doesn't have a regular size or shape, thus it could be tricky to find one appropriate. Bathrooms are also begging for the renewal, which is apparently planned during next years.

Stayed here for a week in late August. Ideal base for getting out and about to explore the area. We stayed in one of the cabins which had enough room inside and out to relax and enjoy the stay. We had a friendly welcome from the team at the campsite setting us up for a good stay. We did visit the pizzeria one night which served a good meal to keep us happy. All good with the site kept in a decent state and laid out so not all too close to each other. You are close to the main road so there is some noise from that but not enough to be an issue.
Lovely stay.

Very comfortable camping with lot of trees that provide ombre for summer time. The Serre-Chevalier valley offers many many kind of activities. The Camping is very closed to Briançon's city center.

When our motorhome broke down in Briancon, we became 'stranded' at Camping 5 Vallees for 4 unplanned days. The owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming, we cannot thank them enough for all that they did for us.
We really enjoyed our stay at Camping 5 Vallees. The campsite has a great pool area which our children loved, and the overall site is relaxed and peaceful.
The owners could not have helped us more with our motorhome problem, they really looked out for us and went above and beyond to help my family. We are hugely grateful, and will consider them 'family'!
A huge thank you to Michel and Fabian for everything during our stay.

Arrived today 6 September 2017 reasonably full with a mixture of camper vans & tents cost for 1 pitch & 2 vehicles €37 not the cheapest we've had, I would have thought both shower and toilet facilities would be open NO they aren't which haven't been for 2 weeks so every time you need them you have to trail to the reception area if campsites are open they should be fully open they're not reducing rates.

We really enjoyed our fortnight here. Very peaceful, friendly atmosphere, full of trees so most pitches are shady and you get lots of privacy. It is quite a big site and was only full around cycling events (etape , TDF) so you should be able to get in.
Little grocery shop, bar, pizzeria, big games room, table tennis, pool, pétanque court.
Ten minute walk to carrefour supermarket. 25 mins to lower part of briancon.

There is an industrial park opposite this site so the noise of trucks started quite early in the morning. The pitch was large. The facilities were average, but not as clean as some campsites and do take your own loo roll. A pizza restaurant on site. Open a few nights a week. Food available in the reception area/shop. A pool to cool down in. The really annoying part though was a tannoy system that kept announcing things. I'm sure that it was appreciated by some campers, but we prefer a bit more peace and quiet. Dog friendly.
