Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is exceptional. The cabins are fully equipped, even more complete than most of the homes, with salad dryiers, multiple pans, pressure pans, and a long list of etc.
The host has been very kind and helpful. Our experience started when our car stuck in the snow. Marc and Magali came to us to rescue in their quad. total heroes!. We had ordered the baguettes and croissants on the mornings. We totally recommend this place. Marc and Magali: just keep with the good job of being excellent hosts.

Excellent stay in the mountains rejuvenating, very quiet in a small chalet very well equipped, very clean with hosts with little care. Plus the Nordic bath with a very nice mountain view.
Great location. We recommend +++.

Fantastic place to stay - great location - beautifully appointed rooms - modern bathrooms and lovely quaint furnishings.

A really friendly, chill and welcoming team.

Local cats super friendly. The goats have the best life! Which is saying something coming from a vegan!

Vegan breakfast exactly what we wanted.

Highly recommended

I will only speak in my review about the “6 seat duplex chalet” and have no reviews or a priori on other accommodation.
In addition, I do not question the welcome and availability of our guests.
We liked our comfort, we preferred this accommodation for 6 when we are only 3 adults.
First surprise, the almost total absence of storage means, apart from a small metal chest of drawers in the lower room.
So we're gonna put the stuff in one of the upper rooms.
Second surprise, the very “alpine” character of the staircase which I strongly advise against for people with medium mobility.
Third surprise, at the top of the stairs, is the height of the ushers. I caught myself in the forehead at the top of the door, and I am only 1.70m tall.
Fourth surprise, the other upper frames are all to the same size of garden gnome and dangerous in fact.
We invest the lower room, leaving our daughter to test her cranial strength.
Fifth surprise, in this room, we must make a choice for the one who will be allowed to pass along the bed so there is no room between partition and bed.
I lost in the draw ....
Sixth astonishment and surprise when we want to invest the bathroom, or what should function it.
It is a mini corridor at the end of which there is a mini sink and shower. Still no storage and the corner is so cramped that it is only usable for one person at a time.
We wondered how can do, in the middle of winter, 6 people in this accommodation.
Obligation to make watchtowers ....
I will ignore the water cut, the obstruction of the taps and shower by the scale not allowing to have the flow sufficient for the water heater to go off.... And other little miseries.
This is to say that, out of season, the rental amount is totally excessive and does not correspond to the service provided for this type of accommodation.
Too bad, but we're not going back.

We spent 2 nights in a very well equipped 2 person chalet - clean and nicely decorated.
Special mention to the hot bath after the day
Friendly welcome
We highly recommend.
We will return there during a next stay in Serre-Chevalier

Many thanks for the welcome, the chalet was brilliant. A relaxing spot up in the hills above the town, perfect location to get away. Excellent home made breakfasts in the ancient farmhouse, transfers to the ski station, food deliveries to your door.

It was a pleasure to meet you and hope to visit again.

Wether skiing or trekking this is a great place for your stay. The owners have restored an old farm. Our room was fitted with a large jacuzzi, ideal after day-long skiing. The evening meals they propose make you feel at home with friends. Very nice people and first class service.

The hotel is outside Briancon, it is an old building, renovated, full of wood, really very nice. Rooms are spacious and clean, we had the one with Jacuzzi. Children loved the Jacuzzi.
The owners were very friendly and helpful, they drove us every day to the ski center of Chantemerle even if we could use our own vehicles. Breakfast was excellent, full of home products. For the weekend only they offered us dinner in good price.
Our overall impression was very good. Although the Hotel is not in the ski center (but not far), I believe is a good choice for winter holidays in Serre Chevalier.
