My family and I went on a trip to Vietnam recently and while in Da Nang, we chose to stay at Vin Pearl Nam Hoi An based on recommendations from a close friend. We were so glad we chose to stay at this 5 star resort as from the moment we booked to the day we checked out, the experience was nothing short of amazing. Thao from the booking office was so friendly and helpful. She advised us to book an executive suit to accommodate the two cots we needed for our children. The room she picked out had the most spectacular view and she even helped find us a great deal which had three meals included daily.
The resort is situated right on the coast line and has its very own private beach front that is always kept clean and pristine. When the seas got a bit choppy, we swam in their massive, crystal clear swimming pool instead. Whether we were splashing in the waves or in their pool, we always felt safe under the careful watch of Huy and his squad of dedicated life guards. These hardworking individuals were so friendly and patient despite having to be out in the hot sun all day. Three of them, Nhut, Nghiem and Hai even instructed us on how to improve our swimming stroke on the days they were on.
When not lounging by the pool or sea side, our family would spend time at one of the three theme parks attached to the resort. We could either see the animals at the river safari, ride the slides at the water park or take a wander through their replica of the Hoi An ancient city and watch the different performances.
Our meals were served at the Cocoon buffet, managed by Huong. This restaurant had the most expansive menu I had ever seen, ranging from Vietnamese, Korean, Indian, Japanese, Italian and Western. Not only that, the menu items were rotated daily so we were never bored with what they had to offer. The head chefs from each section would meticulously inspect each item to ensure it was well presented and up to standard. One of the Asian Head Chefs, Chef Hoa, even came around to our table to asked how we enjoyed the food. He explained to us the different dishes they had to offer and made recommendations based on what tastes and flavours we preferred. One of the highlights during our stay was the corn festival Huong had organized. She explained that once a month, on top of the already plentiful offerings, the restaurant adds another dozen items including savory foods, desserts and drinks that celebrates a particular produce that was currently in season within the region. This brilliant initiative not only creates a fun, festive atmosphere for patrons in the restaurant, it also supports the local farming community.
My wife and I were so impressed with every aspect of our stay that we will certainly book here again and highly recommend anyone visiting Da Nang/Hoi An to spend a few nights here.

Had a very disappointing experience during our stay at the 3 bedroom pool villa. It was our first family trip of 11 pax with 3 babies. The first floor bedroom where one of the babies stayed(less then a year old), the bed was full of ants. We asked the concierge to check the bed while we were out and heard back that they could not find any ants and had checked thoroughly (I was actually a bit offended because the tone of the concierge was a bit sarcastic, as if to say whats the fuss). The baby and the family that stayed there had gotten ant bites all over and the baby had some sort of an allergic reaction. They could only provide ointment which was for adults and could not answer basic questions such as how many times do we need to apply the ointment even though they have an in house clinic (the instructions were in Vietnamese so we had no idea). That night we came back to find the bed full of ants coming up from somewhere near the headboard. It was seriously traumatizing… if they had checked thoroughly in the morning we wouldn’t have had to wake everyone up, pack and move at 11pm night (not to mention some of us had an early golf rsv). What was really disappointing is that the duty manager asked me what they should do… and another duty manager apologized in the morning but had no knowledge of what had happened and offered to give us a 10 dollar discount on the laundry service… (which we refused because whats the point)? We understand there could be ants in this sort of environment but the way the concierge dealt with the situation was very disappointing and really ruined our stay there the last couple of nights.

The hotel is very nice, the beach is beautiful, the room is good, and if you want to combine Hoi An with a nice pool area and beach location, you have to accept this distance to the old town. However, the customer orientation was irritating. Online, after mentioning the guests, two adults and two children, we were suggested a suite. When we entered the suite, there was no sleeping arrangement for the children. The couch could not be converted into a bed, as we have often seen in other hotels. After inquiring at the reception, we were lectured that we had only booked a suite with one bed. The children are only considered for breakfast! Instead of the lecture, they could have offered us the extra beds right away and charging 8 EUR per bed per night on site seemed very petty. And the room cleaning could have been better. When we pointed out that the dirty glasses had not been replaced, the cleaning staff rinsed the glasses with water in the room next to us. I hope they handle this differently with new guests. But it was important to the staff that you give five stars and mention their names - so important that you are ambushed with the request at breakfast.

Really great stay, we just departed this luxurious property with my family of 8. The rooms are sleek, modern and clean, with great service to boot.
The beach was pristine and well manned with lifeguards, at one point we had 2 lifeguard to each of our family members on the beach. The pool was also gorgeous, humongous pool with not that many people made for a relaxing time by the pool.
The service staff was also on our beck and call, we had so many small requests and they attended to each in a timely manner. My mom had some issues with her booking, and the manager of the hotel even went out of his way to get us an upgrade for one of our rooms to a suite level, which really made our experien e great!
This is a gorgeous property with top of the line service, it’s well worth a stay albeit being a small drive from Hoi An. Thank you vinpearl! Until we meet again!

The Vinpearl resort and golf Nam Hoi An is a wonderfully relaxing resort within easy reach of Hoi An and Da Nang. Hotel staff were waiting at Da Nang airport and the pick up and trip to the resort was very much stress free. We stayed in a King Ocean View Room which is one of the bigger hotel rooms we've stayed in. The room was comfortable, the bathroom large and the view over the resort and along the beach was fantastic. This truly is a 5 star resort. The staff were amazing from concierge to restaurant staff and the pool bar. Everyone was professional and helpful. The resort offers a shuttle bus for the short (20 mins) trip to Hoi An which is convenient but the small charge is disappointing - a free service would be more guest friendly. The resort has one of the biggest swimming pools we've ever seen and was spotlessly clean. The food at breakfast and dinner (buffet at both sittings) was good with a wide selection of local, Asian and European options. Perhaps the only complaint was only the one coffee machine to serve the large number of guests at breakfast. The grounds of the resort are beautiful and next door is the Vin wonder theme park which has a zoo, rides and a Vietnamese folk village with exhibitions of paper making and silk weaving. We can't wait to make a return visit.

This was the best hotel I’ve been in the vinpearl cooperation. We booked a deluxe twin and king size room. The rooms have a nice modern touch and a view of the beach and villas below. The balcony was big and the room was very spacious and felt comfortable, although it was a little tricky to open the door, overall it was a very high quality room. They had complementary services like the pool, a wide Long Beach, Wi-Fi, etc. there was also a bar to get drinks and relax. The lobby was very spacious with lots of seats and a fountain inside. For meals. I highly recommend suggesting on getting a breakfast package, because the hotel is far from downtown and going down to eat breakfast is easier than a drive to downtown every morning. There are 2 restaurants to chose from for breakfast, one near the main entrance or one near the pool entrance, any is fine, consuming the same food in both restaurants. The service was OUTSTANDING. The workers were really nice and helped us when we needed. There are also free shuttles to and from the airport as well as to and from the park (VinWonder). I highly recommend to come stay at this hotel and experience the theme park any time when you come to Hoi An or Da Nang.

Had a good experience in Vinpearl. Huge 3 room villa with private pool. Most staff are attentive and give good service. Whole resort is well kept with cleaners coming to clean different areas like the private pool to picking up the leaves. We like the buffet breakfast with huge spread and lots of staff cooking and servicing. Need to take a taxi out to town in Hoi An about 20mins away, costs about 270000vnd. No cooking utensils or cutleries. About 10 minutes buggy ride away from the theme park Vinh wonders which was a nice park to spend your day with animals watching in safari and theme park rides. Well designed placed Remembered a helpful with bright smile staff named Tan Quy on the last day. Very well designed resort and theme park, infrastructure, and thought out service procedures. Would be great if they spent some resources on the staff on English and attract more international guests.

On Christmas day we went to the buffet party at Lantern restaurant. There are many customers, but in return the service staff here are very dedicated and attentive. Especially Mr. Toni, even though there were many customers, he always took care of our table very carefully, he was very friendly and always supported us whenever we needed it. Next time if I have the chance, I will come back here to use the services at the Resort.
