Val, thank you to you and your capable staff for hosting our mini conference today. Superb service, attention to detail and a great lunch . Biscuits and coffee on arrival hit the spot and was just what we needed to get us going. We will definitely make use of your fantastic venue again..
The Andros never disappoints - whether it is a stay for a business trip, or for recharging next to the pool while listening to the rustle of the leaves. Although the garden rooms need a bit of an update, the spacious rooms make for a comfortable stay with the lounge area perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine.
I had the privilege of staying at The Andros last weekend.. What I can say about this magnificent hotel... I am actually struggling to find the correct words for it... Magnificent, delightful, stunning, homely, luxurious, welcoming, I could go on and on. From the moment you walk into reception you are greeted by the most welcoming staff I have experienced in years. They are beyond accommodating and that goes for every single staff member that I met also. The hotel itself is set in spectacular grounds, Beautiful garden areas and beautiful appointed areas from the drawing room to the Champagne Bar. My room was spotless! Gorgeous finishes and a bed I did not want to get out of.... Breakfast was superb their homemade muesli and eggs Benedict was the best I've had and I'm even drooling a little as I write this at the thought of it. One of the highlights of my stay was getting to meet Harry a gorgeous labrador puppy with such personality. This is truly one of the greatest hotels I have ever stayed in, honestly it's probably the best. Please please if your coming to stay in Cape Town, stay here! I am already dreaming of going back.. Thank you Andros for creating a memory I will have and cherish forever... …
This is a superb hotel set in beautiful grounds and gardens. What sets this hotel apart from many of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in around the world is the outstanding personal service provided by the staff and management team. They made our stay memorable and if we needed a reason to return to Cape Town for the fourth time then it would be so we could stay at the Andros again. Our bedroom was huge and well furnished. Sleep quality was excellent. Breakfast choices were amazing. We enjoyed a complimentary (large) pink gin and tonic in the drawing room every evening from the selection of spirits that were available. Lovely pool area also. the Andros is a superb hotel.
My wife and I regularly visit South Africa and for the first time stayed in this Cape Dutch style small luxury hotel. Our bedroom and bathroom were spacious with a terrace overlooking the swimming pool, the gardens attractive and the restaurant served excellent cuisine. We particularly liked the drawing room where guests can help themselves to gin, whiskey, brandy and port. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
