The room was clean, the coffee good but the room is very basic and having a bathroom across the passage if you’re a woman traveling solo, is not ideal. If you’re out all day it’s fine as there is no lounge and cooking facilities and eating utensils non existent

Great stay overall for max 2 days No bare necessities like microwave, plates and utensils. The place is clean which is a big plus! The pottery is pleasing to the eye. The service by the host is excellent

Room was very convenient. Manager was helpful and accommodating for needs. Location for access around that part of town was good. Room requires air conditioning due to afternoon sun. Became very uncomfortable in the afternoon and evening. Servicing of the room was late on Saturday and not at all on Sunday

The place was unfortunately dirty, ugly. The passage and the garden was badly decorated, the pillows are old. It is just not welcoming at all. I would never recommend it to anyone. The bathrooms are not

Harefield village is the ideal location for the Newlands Cricket Ground as well as accessible to Cape Town itself. There is plenty of very good eateries around the Village at great value for money. Cris the Manager was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend
