Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Friendly welcome and tidy site. Nice pitch for motor home near river. Great location if you want to take advantage of local pickup and drop off for cycling wine tasting. Apparently there are friendly eels in the river who pop up to say hello if you stamp on the bank but we did not succeed.

I stayed here in our camper last year for 2 days but extended it to 10 days because I loved it so much. I returned again this year for a night in the busy Easter season, but then rang a week later to add a night, and then of course rang the final week to say I want to book again on the way back through. Every single time the owner of the Business Judy was so accommodating and went out of her way to make it work. I had a call from family to say our house accommodation was being cancelled due to a burst water cylinder. This was heartbreaking as it is our yearly all family get together. Once again Judy came to the rescue and got me the contact of her plumber who was the only one to agree to come out and sort. Holiday rescued. We had changed to a larger caravan and although it was more challenging for a site she organized all with a smile. The bathrooms are super clean and the setting beautiful with also a chance to feed the resident eels. Its not ultra modern, but is clean, friendlily and just perfect. would never stay anywhere else in Blenheim.

Only 2 options for Holiday parks in/near Blenheim. as the other park was virtually under the road bridge for NZ State Highway 1 with heavy transports at all hours to / from Picton (Interislander / Bluebridge ferries) right in Blenheim, we thought Spring Creek a litttle way north of Blenheim in amongst the grapevines would be a better option.... More suited / set-up for itinerant workers / backpackers with very basic facilities including having to pay for showers on a limited time basis, lack of privacy between sites and backpacker accommodations, park appeared to be overcrowded and their Blackwater Dump Point was out of order. The local unattended Fuel station up the road suggested as an alternative dump point by park manager, had no water to rinse out the blackwater cartridge.

We had two nights here. But after booking, we decided we wanted to book a local wine tasting trip, & rang the day before for some advice. Gert & Judy couldn’t have been more helpful, & immediately emailed some suggestions. The park is well run, & the toilets & showers clean. Although, I’d imagine at really busy times they would get busy, as only two showers in the block we used. We had a powered site by the creek which was very peaceful & a nice setting. It was a pleasant stay, & they are a very welcoming couple.

A lovely park north of Blenheim. We stayed 1 night on a powered caravan site before making the trip up the road to get on the ferry at Picton. It was & had been raining quite heavy when we arrived, so grass sites near the creek were very wet. Gert & Judy were very helpful. Our caravan is 8.5m in total length so a tight squeeze between hedges on a grass gravel powered site. We would definitely book the concrete hardstand sites next time which were more open & would of been easier to navigate into. Amenities were clean & tidy, would highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Very clean and tidy. Great bathrooms. Beautiful deep Creek next to us. Would definitely stay again. Hardly any noise from highway. Privacy hedges high around each Motorhome makes it quite snug and private. Very handy place to stop on your way to Picton for the ferry the next day.

When my son’s ferry was rescheduled at the last minute due to bad weather, he was left in a very difficult and potentially unsafe situation. Spring Creek came to the rescue, finding him a suitable room, with secure car parking and allowing check-in during the early hours of the morning. Thank you so much for your excellent service and can-do attitude!

Stayed here for one night with my Dad in his caravan. Easy to get to with the bonus of being not far from Makana chocolates! Very pretty campground with super clean amenities. Loved the music in the toilet/shower blocks. Would highly recommend.

Gert and Judy the new owners ( 8 weeks ago ) are a very lovely helpful couple , nothing is too much trouble and they are working on updating , everything is immaculately clean , The kitchen very well equipped with Fridges/ freezers ovens and even pots n pans to borrow . The main house is historical and being restored on the inside. The creek and amazing eels are lovely , the camper parks are big with good distance between each other and lots of hedges , plenty of room for a7.5 metre Motorhome , it really is a little bit of paradise and the wineries will collect you from this site . Thank you for a lovely stay highly recommended
