Hyatt regency Huahin is the best hotel in Huahin. There is the longest beachfront in huahin, very nice pool, playground, slider in swimming pool is the best. Good breakfast and good bed. I will come back here for sure.
I had a stay at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin a few years ago and knew this hotel was solid value so I returned this time on a shorter stay as part of a road trip. The hotels I can compare to in Hua Hin are Sheraton, Anantara, and a couple others not far away in Pranburi; I can confirm based on my latest stay that HR remains a good choice for the price paid. I booked the entry level room and proactively received an upgrade to a suite as Globalist guest. The room was still in decent condition similar to a few years ago and I liked that our suite had direct pool access but without losing much on privacy due to the layout of the resort and the position of our room with an angle and some distance from the patio deck which had two chairs. As in the past we had free t-shirts to take home as gifts. Baby Minnie was quite happy to wear her “World of Hyatt” gear – a nice gift received from my Hyatt Concierge sent in the post – and really thought the big bed was fun to play in and relax as can be seen on the picture attached to the review. Since the two Sheratons in the area cut their club lounge, there are not so many hotels in Hua Hin which still have a lounge but the one at Hyatt Regency remains. The offerings might have been a slight notch lower than what I remembered from the past but still decent considering the other options in town. Alcohol was not allowed to be served in the lounge due to provincial covid regulations but guests were able to get drinks sent to their room between 5-7pm nonetheless so kudos to the hotel for not taking shortcuts by simply removing a benefit of the club lounge access. Breakfast was not offered in the lounge, it was restaurant only. The spread was quite nice; in terms of quality it was average in my opinion. One major strength of the hotel is the large pool with several nooks including the remote corner where our suite was located, and the slide which children can enjoy. The main pool is quite close to the beach so there are some views unlike from the rooms, and the beach itself is one of the better ones in Hua Hin which is generally not a destination for top Thailand beaches; for the best beaches Phuket or Koh Samui are preferable to Hua Hin. The common areas of the hotel were well maintained and included other facilities to keep guests occupied for example a basketball and tennis courts. Overall for Hyatt loyalists this hotel is a no brainer – it’s good quality for a reasonable price and elite benefits are generous. Even for guests with dual status with many hotel chains HR can hold its own relative to competitors and I can recommend it.…
Great service, many activities for different age level, love Thai food and pizza at Fig (Wow experience don’t miss it)… My parent, me and my daughter give the hotel a thumb up. Don’t miss it, you will not regret.
Convenience location, very nice staffs and have it all for everyone in your family and treat your pet as an important one.My dog got a good massage and back to her room with full energy. They also have afternoon tea for you and your pet :)
All are very good; staff, facility, room, Regency club, fitness and clean beach, especially Food. Breakfast at Figs restaurant are so delicious and has variety of food with good quality. Steak at McFarland house was good, too. My room has spa service for complimentary and it was nice and relaxing. I would definitely come back again.
