Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a private, residential bungalow which does Bed and Breakfast. My double room was clean and comfortable. Toiletries, coffee and tea making facilities, bottle of water plus hot chocolate and biscuits on arrival. Lots of parking, easy to use TV and a comfortable chair to sit in. Very quiet at night. All good. However, these people are really milking tourists in the Summer. prices have escalated far beyond anything I have ever known. For breakfast, all I wanted was sausage and scrambled egg with one slice of toast. I received one paltry sausage, not much bigger than my thumb, which I considered mean. Come on! Are'nt you making enough profit? just crossed you off my list of places to return to, in the off-season when you may be glad of the business.

Rosie and Bob are extremely pleasant hosts and they go out of their way to make your stay special. Rosie has a vast local knowledge and certainly made our visit to this area exciting with her recommendations. Our room was perfectly clean and comfortable with all you'd expect, some nice touches of African artefacts for decoration. Our breakfast was superb. For an evening meal give the White Hart Inn a try in the village, a 10 minute stroll down the road. All in all, if you want a homely and comfortable base to explore this area, we would recommend Paths End.

Room and bathroom were very small. No fridge in room. Biggest disappointment was the Freezing Cold Shower I had to make do with in the morning - (The fastest shower I have ever taken!) I told the owner about it at breakfast. He said he had checked the tank and it was working ok.... HONEY- I DIDN"T IMAGINE IT ! The breakfast was just ok. Breakfast was served in a tiny hallway. Be sure to have extra food with you, especially if you arrive late. Shops may not be open.

The room was very clean and tidy. Everything was as described and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. The bed was very comfortable with a good quality mattress which is important after a very long journey. The breakfast was very good and freshly prepared

We stayed for 6 nights in August in this small friendly B&B, Location is in a small village with one pub and a couple of shops, parking was good, breakfast also good, local knowledge was freely shared (thank you) ideally located for easy access to all of the surrounding destinations. Would we stay again? Yes, without a doubt👍
