We stayed in our caravan on a powered site while our relatives stayed in tourist cabin. We really enjoyed our time at Moeraki Village holiday park and will definitely return. It was great to come across a well managed campground ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable time is had by all campers. There were some regular campers there that also made us feel very welcome. The communal facilities and cabin were all clean and well maintained. Everyone had a great time.

Overnight stay in a 2 bedroom cabin, was warm with good TV coverage, all the channels that we were interested in. Simple accommodation but very good and plenty of parking for boats etc. Moeraki is a nice place to visit and even better if you manage to get a table for a meal at Fleurs place.

We hired a campervan for a long weekend and travelled South. Our first overnight stop was here. We arrived at around 5pm and there were plenty of powered sites to choose from, we were lucky enough to get one with great sea views. I'm pretty sure this place would fill up quick in Summer so it would pay to book ahead. The usual amenities were available (laundry, kitchen, shower block) and all were scrupulously clean. Free unlimited wifi and a great pub within walking distance makes this a great little place to stay, only 5 minutes drive from the moeraki boulders beach.
We would highly recommend this place for a stay.

We have been coming to this holiday park for over 20 years and love the location and our experience. It is a special place for us. Unfortunately on our most recent visit we did not have such a good time. We booked a unit with a spa bath for a treat but the spa bath did not work. Instead of a relaxing bubbly bath we shared a leaking lukewarm bath- not a fun experience. What really made our experience worse was on check out, when we advised that the spa didn't work, instead of empathy we were met with denials of any problem. Terrible service. Honestly acknowledging the situation would have been acceptable, but this was not.

We stopped on a whim while travelling through to Dunedin. The lady in reception was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a cabin which had the most amazing view of the Ocean. There was a large picture window with two recliners placed right in front with a windowsill for a cuppa to sit on. Although the cabins are outdated and need remodelling we did not care because it was the view and the peace and quiet that sold us. The cabin had a shower, toilet, kitchenette which was well kitted out, a small table, fridge, a double and a single bed. There are laundry facilities onsite and plenty of room for parking. The local pub serves takeaway which was very nice. We both enjoyed sitting and watching the fishing boats coming and going in the bay all afternoon. But be warned it is quiet and so easy to fall asleep. Wonderful.

I just LOVE this place. Ask for a cabin a little higher up so you can watch the fishing boats come and go. Perfect location to get away from it all. This was my second visit. Owners very friendly and welcoming Will most definitely be back

We stayed here one night in a kitchen cabin that had everything we needed including free wifi, but no TV in our cabin. Great unobstructed view out over the sea. Great value for money. There are a couple of places to eat in the village but no store to buy groceries etc. We got some lovely cooked fresh blue cod at the Tavern.

Upon arrival I was greeted by a lovely lady in the office and after being unhappy with my cabin she was lovely to help me move which cost me a bit more money which I was happy with but after doing some research I realised that I was charged for the 2 person rate as a solo traveler which in my opinion is way too much to charge someone so after much consideration I decided to get some of my money back which made me mad but that’s life and left because I wasn’t happy staying after what my trip was all about in the first place.
The cabins really need a good spring clean there is a lot of dirt on a lot of things and some things need replacing.
The manager needs to be smiley and greet people with respect because that’s half the reason as to why left!!

We spent 2 nights in Moeraki at the camp. What a great location overlooking the harbour and within a stumble of all the bars and eateries in town.

Our cabin was very spacious, clean and had a wonderful balcony were we could sit and watch the boats come and go from the harbour and have a glass while watching the sunset.

This wee holiday camp, tucked away in a cute wee village is a must stay. The outlook is fabulous, parking spots on several levels overlooking the seaside, the facilities are fantastic, everything you need is here, lovely hot showers, hairdryer, full laundry facilities complete with iron and ironing board. A large kitchen stocked with everything you need. The camp overall is very, very clean and tidy. Just a short walk down the road to one of NZs best restaurants Fleurs. The local Tavern is highly recommended too. The camp owners generous and kind, the locals are friendly and welcoming.
