Detailed Reviews
We had a very good stay here after a rather fraught booking process, whereby booking.com gave inaccurate details, and then our booking arrangements were unexpectedly changed again, including on the day. Leone was keen to make sure all was well: the high winds were frustrating, as it prevented sundowners on the deck. But we enjoyed the view. The accommodation was well equipped, clean and comfortable, even if some smaller details were lacking. If I had any real concern it would have been over value for money.

We had a lovely, comfy one night stay end of November 2023. Easy check-in. Extremely sweet, kind, and helpful host. Nice well sized room with a comfortable bed, good amount of space, great heater for a cooler rainy day. Parking was easy. Shared kitchen space is available. There also is some food options within an easy drive. We enjoyed a night here to break up the drive between Dunedin and Mount Cook. This allowed us to enjoy more of the beaches, nature, and area along the way. There are many other wonderful stops along the coast between Dunedin. A great stop not only for the boulders! We had a great stay and lovely conversation.

We stayed 2 nights at Noah's for my birthday weekend. Leonie was so friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean and the furnishings and linens were good quality. We enjoyed meeting the cat and dogs too. Would certainly recommend to others and would definitely stay again.

stopped in by chance and innkeeper was very gracious and not only was able to accommodate us but pointed us to the best location in town to see the Penguins and seals...the room was nice but more importantly the bed and linens were top notch - 100% cotton linens...

Had nice clean room with great view. Pleasant and helpful hostess who made a booking at Fleur's for us. Was only a small heater even thought the evening was cold. Most frustrating thing was the timer switch in the bathroom which turned the lights off while you were still shaving or showering.
Also the large number of notices telling you what not to do was a bit over the top.

As the new owners of Noah's Boutique Accommodation we wanted to learn from guest reviews and with to thank this reviewer for taking the trouble/time to point out where we can improve the experience whilst staying at Noah's. All three points (heating, timer switches and notices) have been addressed and will hopefully not be cause for anyone else to feel cold, over directed with do's and don'ts, or left in the dark when showering. Thank you once again for providing us with the necessary information for us to learn from. We do hope you may have the opportunity to visit us again sometime. Kind regards

Most definitely stay here if you can. Place and hosts are beautiful. Tonight we were meant to be spending our first proper night in New Zealand at Noah's. After travelling literally half the way round the world to see the wonders New Zealand has to offer and spending a year planning our trip we were foiled at our first hurdle.... we arrived in Christchurch, had a rest night there, then ready for our adventures.... pick up hire car and "o where you off to?" Down the east coast right down south then up the west we say excitedly.... the response of 'you'll not be going anywhere south of Christchurch, bridges are down after a flood' is the response. Queue horrified faces and tears. Rang Leonie to say we cant get there. Straight away, are you my guests for tonight? I saw on the news last night but didn't have a number to contact you. What follows is her trying every possible Avenue to get us on our planned trip. Not for her to get money from us but to genuinely try to help us out. Find any route or option, including people on Facebook looking for people to share a helicopter!!! Unfortunately we have a hire car so that doesn't seem feasible. She even offers to drive 4 hour round trip if we can possibly get to a tiny airport past the flooded roads. In the end we cant get a flight down unless for 10 x the general fare and no car at the other end to actually get us onwards. We really wish we were spending the night at Noah's with what we know would be most wonderful host. They had previously offered to take us down to restaurant and back so we didn't have to drive. Hopefully catch you if we are ever lucky enough to visit again. What a lovely woman who made an awful day so much brighter

I am so taken back with such wonderful words from guests that must be feeling totally at the end of their tether. My disappointment is that I was not able to help alleviate their dilemma in some way. I can only imagine what it must feel like to fly across the world to be met with these unusual and unfortunate circumstances. I wish them all the best for the remainder of their New Zealand trip and do hope the experience will not put them off, maybe, returning to New Zealand sometime in the future. All the best for a safe and memorable experience in our country from here on. Kindest Regards Leonie NOAHS

“We had such a lovely time at Noah's! My friend and I, as well as our dog Jack, were warmly welcomed. Our hosts were helpful with suggestions and made for a great conversation. Our room was very clean and decorated with taste. The compact little 'service station' in the room was a nice touch: everything to make coffee, tea and hot chocolate, as well as a toaster and a few other practical necessities. In term of location, Noah is located right in front of the beach - and offers a really nice walk along the sea to the famous Moeraki boulders. We highly recommend staying at Noah's and we will be sure to stay there again on our next trip!”

We would highly recommend Noah's! Bruce and Leonie were the the utmost hosts, and made us feel so welcome. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and inviting, and the special details, from oversized bath towels to the sweet bedtime chocolates, were so appreciated. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Next time, we will!

Even if you're not intending to stay in Moeraki, you should just to be able to experience Noah's Boutique Accommodation. Leonie and Bruce are incredible hosts and everything is thought through from the luxurious bedding to the ample bathroom and stunning views. We particularly enjoyed meeting their Alpaca's Kala and Jet and the sheep who thinks he's an Alpaca - Larry. The gardens are beautiful and the view (needs mentioned again) is unforgettably gorgeous. You can walk to Fleur's Restaurant which is renowned and authentic via the Millenium Beach Walk and you can walk up to the Meoraki Boulders from Noah's up the beach. They are very well situated to see the Yellow Eyed Penguins and seal colonies at the Lighthouse and we enjoyed day trips to Dunedin, Oamaru and Karetin (Don't miss Karetin for some lovely walks). I recommend making Noah's Boutique Accommodation a destination on your itinerary if you are in New Zealand.
