The perfect location, friendliest staff, beautiful breakfast, lovely atmosphere in the bar/restaurant and spotlessly clean I can generally recommend The Atlantic Hotel.

Room 35 however I would not return to. Probably an after thought for accommodation, the electric heater was warm when on but as I felt it was unsafe to leave a room with the electric heater running, I returned to a cold room each time though it heated in 10 minutes. The bath water ran cold for an evening bath so I attempted to fill it with the shower water which was tedious so I gave up.
The carpet is stained and the wardrobe wobbles.
The bed was clean and comfortable and I had a great sleep. My friends stayed in other rooms on the same night and their rooms were a world away from Room 35 in terms of heat, clean carpet and warm water. The access door to the bedrooms from the car park was unfortunately locked every time I tried it, so I had to walk through the bar/ restaurant several times with my luggage which felt uncomfortable.
I would return to The Atlantic Hotel and request any room bar 35.

This hotel says a family loves every inch of the property and keeps it up for the guests. Whether ringing a taxi, preparing eggs on special request at breakfast, or offering to carry luggage upstairs, they leave no detail unattended. Their cleaning goes beyond a quick dusting; they polish baseboards! Furniture has character, and every room is different. That said, rooms are European-small. A "double" means one double bed, and the commode in our room was ready for replacement. In a world of modern decor, this hotel is worth a visit. It could be called "cozy elegance."

This is a very nice, quiet restaurant in town with an associated hotel. The service was top notch. We were seated quickly and our server was extremely attentive and pleasant.

The Guinness was fresh and delicious. Not many places in the US serve the Guinness in a room temperature glass (they use a frosty glass that does not allow for all the flavor to come through) the way it's supposed to be done. I felt like I was really tasting Guinness for the first time.

I had the three-way combination fish dinner and each was better than the last. Of course we also had a selection of delicious potato dishes. I did not plan on having dessert but just had to try their chocolate mousse and it was awesome.

Breakfast was mislabelled on the menu and 1 staff member was very rude to us. Will not be going back. I also felt that charging 3 euro for the likes of beans was very expensive when it comes with a breakfast everywhere else. It also came out in a very small portion.

Just had a most wonderful family breakfast feast. Service was fantastic and friendly, pot of coffee instead of just a mug, childrens' variety options and food preferences accommodated without a problem, and all very reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend The Atlantic for food at any time of day.
They also accommodated us eating outdoors with our little dog.

Three of my family had dinner here. We shared mussels served in tasty sauce with brown bread. We then had 3 different dishes. We had fish cakes, hake and cod. The portion sizes were very generous. The food was tasty. I had 3 large portions of hake which was served on creamy mash and vegetables. All of us enjoyed our meals. The vegetables were a little disappointing. Fish cakes and cod were very tasty. All of us were happy with our mains. We also had delicious banoffi pie and coffee. We enjoyed our meal. The dining area is quaint and a little tired. It couldd be improved upon and yet retain a relaxed charm. The toilets were spotless. All the staff were friendly and efficient.

Myself and a group of 3 friends rented a house in Lahinch for one week, returning 7 days ago. We ate out 5 nights during our 7 night stay. For the 5 nights dining out, we dined in the bar area of the Atlantic every night.

Fantastic food served in a very cosy, warm environment with wonderful staff. A great buzz here and I would advise booking in advance Nothing is a problem here. They have a very good specials menu, which is available every evening.

Everybody expects to get a warm reception on arrival at a restaurant, hotel or whatever service you request. This place provides the full package. Well done Alan and all your employees

Great experience.. needed accommodation at short notice and Declan was super helpful. He came out to guide me into parking and made sure extra requests were followed up and all with a can do attitude. I know Lahinch well and it is great to see the Atlantic keeping up great hospitality service in spite of challenging times. Well done and thanks.

Friendly and cozy hotel close to the Cliffs of Moher but also in one of the most beautiful seaside locations. Excellent breakfast in the morning and dinner service at night. On a rainy, cold night, it was grand to have a cocktail by the fire and enjoy the company of locals who frequent the dining rooms. Everyone was friendly and treated you like family. As my travel companion was sick, they gave us another empty room beside each other so we could both get a good night's sleep. The hotel is across from two other eating and drinking establishments. Great location.

Stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend in January.

Hotel had a very homely feel to it and the staff were the friendliest that we have met in any hotel (hats off to Declan).

Food was amazing and the Guinness was top notch.

Only complaint was having to wait ages for the hot water to come in the shower and other guests having to bang the room doors for the Yale lock to catch.

Will definitely stop for food here if we’re ever passing through lahinch again.
