Patrica was a wonderful host,
Providing us with a beautiful large family room,
Decorated to a high standard,
The full Irish breakfast was amazing, served with plenty of toast and beautiful
Brown bread,
The main Road was busy during the day, but very quiet at night, and we all had a great night sleep,
Her large garden provided a great play area for my young son, and I found Patrica Children delightful, taking the time to get to know him, playing football,,
I will recommend this bed and breakfast to all my friends back home

This is my 3rd. vacation in Ireland in 6 years, and I love it !
First time I found Brookfield Lodge B & B, just a few km north from Dublin Airport.
A perfect first pit stop after flying in from Norway.
Patricia`s generous hospitality make me feel home from home ! And then I could choose the full Irish breakfast or smaller one, or a continental breakfast. Well, I allways go for Patricia`s full Irish breakfast. That`s a jummy way to start the day for a Norwegian viking, going on a friendly vacation raid on the green island.
Rooms are clean and cosy. The garden has lots of room for playing.
I could see an austrian lady had criticised a toilet`s flushing, and filling up again so slowly. Well, when it fills up slowly, you don`t hear nothing of the sounds from the water splashing back. Perfect if you ask me. And she ordered a continental breakfast
- and got it. In Norway we say thanks when we get what we order, not criticise.
Brookfield Lodge have 2 bigger rooms with 2 double beds. And a smaller room (bathroom across the corridor), to help out people searching for housing late in the evening. Very good ! It helped me once.
Want a nice stay and a tasty breakfast, Brookfield Lodge is ready for YOU !
Close to Dublin Airport, with WiFi and the Full Irish Breakfast !

We arrived at 6pm and Patricia was there to give us a warm welcome. There is ample parking and the setting is very peaceful. We found our room to be spotlessly clean and the WiFi was fine..

We were given helpful advice for getting into town on our first night, using the bus that stops right outside, and we also found Patricia very flexible about the timing for breakfast. Our room had ample space and the beds were comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent with generous amounts of toast, bread and juice. The cooked breakfast is the traditional Irish affair and Patricia was accommodating and knocked up a fried egg and toast for one of our party who was feeling a little worse for wear.

Patricia and Joe were extremely friendly and always on hand to give us advice such as where to get a good curry in Swords, the benefits of a Hilux and how to get back to Brookfield after our concert (Patricia had recently had a bad experience and ended up stuck for a number of hours). The B&B is ideally situated for access to Croke Park but make sure to park to the north of the stadium.

Our time at Brookfield Lodge was fantastic and we shall be returning for U2’s Experience and Innocence Tour next year. Next time we’ll be bringing the golf clubs in the back of the Toyota Hilux!

Had good fortune to stay at Brookfield Lodge last weekend & from moment we checked in to check out found it to be terrific. Had everything you would need including the all important Wifi! On arrival we were given a lovely Nespresso just what Dr ordered after our long journey! We went out to lovely Indian restaurant in Swords for dinner on Patricia's recommendation. Breakfast next morning was excellent! It included fresh fruit salad, cereals, home made brown bread(to die for) and we had to treat ourselves to the deliciously fresh Full Irish! As we were leaving Patricia gave us fresh fruit to take away for the journey ahead!

The room was clean, bathroom clean as well, but the toilett flush didn't work. Waters needs very long till it is filled up again, I mean really long. Breakfast consisted of fruitsalad, yoghurt, cornflakes, orange juice, tea, coffee, toast, 2 slices of ham and 2 slices salami, a few slices cheese, no fresh fruit, fried egg was cooked with lots of oil. On the arrival we were asked to use WIFI just for checking mails because they had just few data volume, arriving on the second evening WIFI was turned off, they had no free volume left, the host Patricia told us that her son hat uploaded too much. As the use of internet was one of our reasons - near to the airport, was the first one - we booked, we moved to a hotel near the airport. For our trip to Dublin Patricia explained us well who to get there by bus, the bus stop is in front of the house.

Thank you Sabine for your review. I would like to reply to some of your cristicisms, The toilet issue, you said it didn't flush but it did, water was slow in filling up was the issue, we have sorted this small issue. The wifi, yes there was an issue for 24 hours, children will be children, I did offer for you to use my mobile hotspot, you declined as you said you had your own wifi, We will not have this problem again as I am keeping tabs on it and looking into getting a better system. Breakfast, you were offered Full irish or Continental and you opted for Continental. I fry my eggs in rapseed oil and it is difficult to put them on the plate without some oil, you could have had poached or scrambled. The fresh fruit salad consisted of freshly cut pineapple, apple, Plum, peach and banana and a bowl of prunes.. Thank You for your custom Patricia

Brookfield lodge is a home away from home. Beautiful spacious rooms which are tastefully decorated and immaculate. Patricia is a fantastic host, she is so thoughtful and considerate and her breakfasts are top notch. I've stayed here many times and will be back.
