Our family went to the Shoreline on Saturday last to have a meal and some drinks. Upon arrival we were met by a man, presumably the manager, who said there's no food available because there was a wedding on. I thought he was joking at first but then realised he was serious. I've never experienced this in a hotel in my entire life. We decided to go in for a drink because we had driven quite a bit but were told by bar staff that they didn't have any chairs because of the wedding. I found a table in the corner with three chairs and scouted around and managed to procure three more by myself (there were a couple in a dark snug). This place is run very badly. Its such a pity as the staff are very friendly and the setting so nice. It could easily be transformed into a great hotel.

Just home from another wonderful stay in the Shoreline Hotel.Myself,Wife an Daughter had 2 most enjoyable days. From Check in on Monday to Check Out on Wednesday our visit was thoroughly enjoyable. Had a slight problem in 1st room. This was sorted by upgrade to room with seaview,No 121.Really spectacular view.As always the jewel in this hotel is their attentive and ever friendly staff.Nicole,Caoimhe,Sandy, Elle and a young lady whose name I did not get ensured we enjoyed all our meals.Olivia and Janet on reception were always ready to assist and always with a smile. And then there is Rose.An absolute Gem who seemed able to deal with anything from A to Z.Will definitely be returning

This hotel is part good, part poor. The location on the beach is excellent, and the local walks are great. If you book, you should know that many of the rooms are occupied by Ukrainians - who were lovely, very quiet, almost invisible, and have little or no interaction with the paying guests. Consequently there are few rooms available to book, and staffing levels are light, though those there are willing and helpful but fairly disorganised. Food is average, prices seem high, views are lovely, cleanliness average to poor, organisation iffy (breakfast timings vary from 0730 to 0800 to 0900 depending on who you ask).

Myself and my fiance ate at this lovely hotel on Tuesday for lunch after a stroll on the beach and I have to say we were looked after by one of the most loveliest attentive waiting staff I have ever came across. Sandy was just so friendly, professional and accomadating she put us at the most beautiful table with stunning views of the sea. Restaurants need more fabulous staff like this lady Sandy, we will definitely be returning and happy to recommend to all of our friends family! Food was delish also!

We had a coffee, a mint tea and a cheese and ham toastie from the van outside the hotel. The coffee and mint tea were very nice but the toastie was fantastic. Thick slices of ham, tasty cheddar cheese and the bread was fresh and crusty and seared in a pan. Several notches above what often passes for a ham and cheese sandwich. Worth the whole trip!

Spent a few nights in the Hotel in a nice room with Balcony and lovely beach view. Bed and pillows very comfortable Food good but unfortunately chef had a leave early on our last night and we had to eat outside hotel. Luckily there was a lovely Italian restaurant close by. Staff friendly and helpful.
