Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have been here a few times and every time has been great. Good food, good staff, good music and good prices.

I highly recommend the restaurant, its second to none and very reasonably priced. Its a pleasure to call in.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. We were only booked in for one but were so impressed we decided to stay another.

The hotel is in the town centre and there was a little traffic noise but not too much.
There is a pub downstairs which was rather noisy on the Saturday night, but quiet on the Sunday. In my room I was not disturbed by this.
I had a double en suite room to myself and my daugher had a twin room to herself. Both for only £25 per night each or £20 without breakfast. Great value. The rooms were spotless and comfortable.
The breakfast was huge and filling, if a little greasy.
The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful and you could take breakfast any time you liked before 11 a.m.
I would recommend the Manor to anyone travelling on a budget.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst traveling around Ireland. The staff member took us up to the rooms to choose which one we wanted. The rooms were a good size and clean and comfortable. We spent the night at the bar chatting to some of the locals that dropped in and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast was great and included in the price. Free wifi as well.

I booked one of our guys who was travelling on business into this hotel. Read the one review that looked OK, but should have known better as it was £25 per night B&B! They said the restaurant was not open as it was out of season, so he had to eat out. My guy said the place was very dirty and not very nice at all, he nearly counted his losses and left after the first night, but deciced to see it out. Will never book this one again.

We stayed last Saturday night, Found the staff very unfriendly for a family run hotel. The was a function on so the music was playing til late. Deep fat fried breakfast was an experience... I booked with my credit card and the cook left the receipt on the breakfast table while we were having our breakfast and said "that was left on the bar for you" . No thank you or anything else. It was like they just wanted our money and wanted us out and we were not welcome there. Could certainly not recommend this hotel!

I have been to and eaten in some of the most reknowed places in a number of countries but there is no place like home. The husband and I had lunch in the Manor again today. We were on our way to Belfast and anyone that follows my recommendations knows that I enjoy a good meal ... Mandy is the best home grown chef ever. Add to that Grand National day and the craic was mighty. As for the feed ... we were so stuffed we almost fell asleep on the train. Good job we were going to the end of the line. One cannot beat the Manor for wholesome and extremely reasonably priced food and accommodation and the hospitality is free. A bowl of soup in the Lobby at the Europa is £5 ... for 95 pence more (and often less) you get a dinner that would feed two in the Manor. OK ... no Jazz on Saturday afternoons, but Karaoke nights and live bands and the McAllister brothers beats the Jazz afternoon hands down. The loved up peeps come from all around to have their wedding receptions here and I have seen why. They cater for every need. Even veggie ...

This hotel is in the centre of Ballymoney town. Whilst the bedroom and communal areas i.e. dining room/bar etc is a little dated, it nonetheless was spotless, very clean and warm.

Added to this, the staff were very friendly and efficient. The bedroom was comfortable and there is a modern bathroom (en suite) with a good shower. Depending on when you stay, there could be late night noise entering your bedroom from a nearby music venue but this ends at around 1.30am and may not impact on you depending on your room location.

If you like a good old fashioned fry up, the full English breakfast is mighty with massive portions and was served by a friendly staff member.

If you want a basic honest hotel that's good value, then this could be for you.

Great place for access to the local sites, Dark Hedges, Causeway, Rope Bridge and more. The hotel reception is a bit dated but the staff are very welcoming. I was shown up to a room on the top floor which was clean and had a very comfortable bed. A good powerful shower was a pleasant surprise as in the majority of hotels most showers in top floor rooms struggle to put a candle out.
I had booked an early round off Golf at Gracehills (highly recommended) and the staff at the hotel kindly ensured a had a full fry on the table at 7.00am "to set me up for the day" When I say full fry... I mean full, it was very good but a challenge....food won!
Ballymoney has a number of good bars and plenty of eating places and the Manor has a local reputation for its quality food. Good location, comfortable rooms, great value.
Will return again.

Stayed here a few times and visited once before I stayed. Prices are brilliant for the quality of the rooms and breakfast has always been cooked to perfection the next morning. Staff are incredibly friendly and they’re always willing to help you if you need something. Rooms are lovely, very clean too. The restaurant and the bar are great, prices are very reasonable. They have everything you’d need including a good sized function room and a conference room. Overall The Manor is somewhere I would highly recommend!

"Main Street Ballymoney near every site on the North Coast. Home of the late great Joey Dunlop. Great wee town for shopping and the Manor is the only hotel in town. Well worth a visit if only for a reall good meal or a drink in a friendly bar. Go eat, drink and enjoy and let me know you read this when I'm in"
