The stay at Riverway house is an unbelievable stay, Paul and Peter make their home into your home! It was the most perfect stay me and my boyfriend could of asked for, they are so helpful it is unbelievable! They drive you into the town and tell you the best places to go for food and drinks! Paul and Peter are the best host you could have, bedrooms are beautiful and the view of the mountains is unbelievable! Delightful ambience in a most lovely & contemporay boutique style B&B. The owners Peter &Paul are consummate professionals in their role as hosts. Attention to detail is truly the jewel in their crown !! My late evening arrival was greeted with a pleasant welcome and survey of entire home .Coffee & amazing scones served with jams &cinnamon cream was a treat beyond spectacular .Later in evening,a welcome evening meal was provided at my request &at late notice ,for a very small extra cost. I was also offered a night time drink; and my choice of hot milk with cinnamon was promptly provided with such care in presentation! Large Candles lit in fireplace and around guest dining room making ambience more personalised and intimate. The scenery outside is tranquil and rustic and obviously great for walks. Bedroom tastefully decorated and provision of numerous useful toiletries inclusive of ear plugs .Chocolates in a little bag,&water on bedside table- just gets better &better!! .Shared bathroom is a perfect sanctuary finished in grey tiles and white fittings. I was on an overnight business trip ;and should opportunity arise to stay in Kilkeel again,Riverway House would be my first and only choice. Highly commendable ,gracious hosts who made my guest experience, one of the most positive ones for me. Wishing Peter &Paul well deserved success in their relatively new busines venture and hoping they go from strength to strength. Thanks so much for everything Peter &Paul .Love Linda A.McCrea

My husband and I decided to go to Ireland for our 10 year anniversary. We found this cozy little bed-and-breakfast and absolutely fell in love with it. I felt like one of the natives. The owners were warm, friendly and went above and beyond to be accommodating. Thank you for making this such an incredible experience for us which We will always remember and cherish!

We landed in Dublin and drove north. I had seen Riverway House on Trip Advisor and hoped we could stay there. I tried calling that afternoon, but our phones were still being adjusted to calling in UK and could not contact them due to our phone issues. We decided to just drive up and see if there was a vacancy. Peter was working on a new patio area when we drove up and asked about a room. Actually that day they had closed for working. However, graciously he let us have a room even thought they did not plan on guests that day. I am SO glad he let us stay!!. He and Paul went out of their way from the get go to make us feel warmly welcomed and pampered. They directed us to town so that we could get an evening meal and when we returned they had tea and biscuits ready for us. Their whole place is immaculate and comfortable. Lovely grounds. Spacious and modern bedroom and bathroom. The next morning, as we sat in the dining area, our most difficult decision was who would face the spectacular Mourne Mountains and who would face the amazing Irish Sea. Their Samoyeds were a delight. We've stayed in a lot of B and B's and this was easily in the top five. You will not regret a stay with Peter and Paul. You will want to stay longer than one night!!! Super experience. Great value and just great fun time.

I stayed in riverway house for one night and just wish my stay could have been longer. I had the ensuite room and it couldn't have been more perfect. The room was more than comfortable and excellently decorated right down to the smallest of details and personal touches. The hosts Peter and Paul are fantastic, there is nothing too much to ask of them and they cannot make you feel any more at home. I slept like a baby in a stunning home from home in a beautiful part of northern Ireland with the sweeping Mournes behind you. I woke up to the poached eggs with avocado and salmon on toast and steaming pot of good Irish tea. I honestly had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had and cannot recommend this place enough.... Seriously guys you have to stay here and you'll be sure to return. X
