Antrim House commands a central position in Portrush, with private off street parking (a must in the busy summer months!) We have five guest suites each having its own private patio area with hot tub. The large Victorian building (Hamilton House) is separate and is let on a self catering basis with full kitchen, separate dining and lounge areas and private outdoor hot tub exclusively for guests of the unit. The house has retained a lot of its original features with larger than normal rooms and high ceilings. The property is within walking distance to the Royal Portrush Golf Club and a large selection of first class restaurants. Leaving the property and either turning to the left or right you can reach two magnificent beaches with golden sands within minutes. Antrim House is ideally situated to visit the Causeway Coast area with the Giants Causeway being just a 15 minute drive away, the city of Derry/Londonderry is 45 minutes and Belfast just little over 1 hr away by car alternatively if you wish to travel by public transport both the bus and train stations are located a 2 minute walk away if you are planning your travels maybe staying in one spot for more than 1 night will give you a chance to relax a little while still visiting all the must see sights in the area.

Antrim House was recommended by friends who were staying there so we booked a double room. It is in the centre of town with private parking but you can walk to anywhere in the town quite easily. On arrival we were met by the owner and she was so welcoming even gave us a choice of rooms and it had a double and single bed and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast is served in your room due to Covid and you preorder online the day before and it comes to your room at the time you selected. The quality of the breakfast hot or cold is excellent.
They also have apartments and suites and the apartments are modern with a sitting room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
This will be my first port of call whenever I return to Portrush

Easily our favourite place to stay from our trip around Ireland. The suites are lovely with king-size beds, a sofa/dining area and some basic kitchen facilities enough to make snacks/tea/coffee. The bathroom was huge with a really beautiful walk in waterfall shower.

Breakfast is currently delivered to your room post covid, you pick your time slot and order whatever you want, which comes in reasonably generously sized portions and the food is good.

Location is ideal overlooking the seafront as it's situated on too if a slight hill, only 2-3 mins from the beach on foot. The high street with all the shops and cafes is just around the corner but we never had an issues with noise at night.

Hopefully will get to come again.

We stayed here for one night and it was very clean and comfortable. The location couldn’t be beaten to be honest as it is right in the centre of the town- there are plenty of options for food and drinks around and only a tiny stroll! The breakfast is very well organised and delivered right to the room- very generous portions and was piping hot. Thanks to Janice for being so welcoming during our stay.

One block from the sea, within walking distance of the town’s restaurants and shops, very centrally located. There is a parking lot. There is a main building that is Victorian and quaint in décor, but two separate buildings that are very modern. We had booked a family room and they put us in room 12, in the separate building. It was basically an apartment. There were long stairs from the entry way and another door that led into a sizable living room with couch, dinette table for 2 coffee table, flat screen TV and then a kitchenette with small refrigerator, kettle, microwave and sink. Utensils, plates, bowls, toaster, dish liquid were included. No pots and pans, and there is no cooktop. Bedroom with king size bed and a TV. Bathroom had a very large walk-in shower with both a rain shower and handheld. Living room had a very comfortable pull-out couch. The apartment was beautiful, but the wow was the huge terrace spanning the full length of the apartment with doors from both the living room and bedroom. There were four or five lounge chairs with thick cushions and glass walls on the terrace. The front of the apartment was floor to ceiling glass sliding doors, so the apartment was very bright, and the terrace fronted the town square or intersection, and you could see over the harbor and shops. Absolutely beautiful. The owner was very friendly. We preordered breakfast and you could either eat in the breakfast room, or have it delivered to your room. Breakfast options were everything from a full Irish to porridge, yogurt and fruit to eggs and bacon. A wonderful stay and very highly recommended. Close to restaurants, beach, as in 1-4 minute walk.

Stayed here with friends for the weekend. We got room 3 which was lovely! High ceilings, big bathroom and really clean. We were arriving a bit later than last check in time and this was no problem. Janice was so lovely from the very start of our visit. Nothing was too much trouble, she even let us put our wine in the fridge and then gave us an ice bucket and glasses for it! Breakfast was served in our rooms due to covid and this was amazing! Great choices and food was delicious! We had full ulster frys, and it also came with fruit and yogurt, toast, tea/coffee and fruit juices. The breakfasts were always on time and piping hot! the place itself is in a great location, only minutes from the seafront and within walking distance to everything. Our room had a sea view as well. The buildng is really nice with lovely sitting rooms if you need it. Social distancing very well done. It's nice to find somewhere that makes you feel so welcome. Would highly recommend.

My husband & I stayed here for 1 week in a private apartment separate to main hotel which made it feel much safer and comfortable in these CovidTimes. Our host Janice was friendly and did everything to make sure our stay was most enjoyable. The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern & had a huge wetroom with double sinks, thick fluffy towels and luxurious toiletries. Our delicious "breakfast box" was delivered each morning .. filled soda, croissants, fresh orange juice and fresh fruit salad with yogurt, plus coffee/tea. I highly recommend this guest house and will definitely return next time we are in Portrush ❤

Don’t hesitate to book a room here. Rooms are wonderful and spotless. Breakfast was very generous and delicious! I loved my stay here and I can’t wait to return, which I will! The owner is very kind and takes great pride in her beautiful B&B. The area of Portrush is such a perfect spot to see all the sights from and in the evening you have a lovely spot to return to. I booked directly through their website and was so pleased with the easiness of it and the morning we were due to arrive I was sent an email with detailed instructions on how to find their location. Perfect stay!!

Stayed here for 2 nights over the May Bank hols and I have to say it was the best apartment we have ever stayed in. We cannot fault this place one bit. Lovely modern apt with the comfiest bed and with a balcony that was an absolute sun trap.
Breakfast served to the room in the mornings was very tasty and well prepared. Staff were lovely lovely people and nothing was a problem. Can't wait to stay here again soon. Thank you so much Antrim House for a wonderful stay.

Just back from a two night stay in one of the apartments at Antrim House (No. 10) Spotlessly clean and cleaned during our stay with replacement fresh towels left, many other hotels etc have used COVID as an excuse not to clean during your stay which is a shame. Lovely outside space to sit and relax in, hostess tray on arrival with lovely biscuits and everything necessary to make tea/coffee. Complementary water and tins of coke, Fanta etc in the fridge for each guest. Janice and all staff we met were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Great tasty breakfasts delivered piping hot to your apartment. Definitely will be back, free parking is also a bonus and great central location.

The Antrim House is a great little B&B right in the middle of Portrush. The innkeeper was very friendly and due to government restrictions her staff actually brought breakfast directly to our room. Breakfast was very good and the location is as well…would definitely stay here again.

The original house would be a problem for people with mobility issues - stairs and no lift - but the new part has units at ground floor level which would be more accessible and with parking at the door.
