After reading reviews of most of the hotels in the area I plumped for the Golflinks for its location close to town centre and opposite the famous golf course . On arrival we where greeted warmly and check in was quick and easy , our room 11 was as I had hoped overlooking the course and what a view . The rooms are quirky in their shape but have plenty of room and huge windows with unspoilt views . The only thing the rooms are missing for me was a small fridge but that didn't spoil our stay . Great modern hotel , great food and drink , superb scenery and very very helpful staff , so much impressed we have booked again for next month 😀 . Excellent 10/10

The hotel is newly refurbished, loved the new modern bathrooms and the rooms decor. My only negative ( a big one though) is cleanliness in the room - the room wasn't properly/deeply cleaned as there was visible dust around the bed and in corners and some rubbish left from previous guest in the bedside lockers.
Restaurant staff was lovely and attentive, food good quality ( we had dinners and lunch there), breakfast is served as per menu. Hotel close to Portrush center and excellent base to explore the Antrim coast as we did.
Overall would not mind to go back.

We were searching for a place to stay while we toured the area and most hotels were sold out for the weekend. My partner found this place and called to inquire about availability and we were in luck! Not only was the rate within our budget, the room was a lot better than we expected. We were both very impressed with our accommodations and the staff were extremely helpful. We plan on making this hotel our go to place whenever we are in the area. Our only complaint was the noise of "Kelly's" next door and the patrons of the club out all night in the parking lot with their loud cars and the screaming. When you book a reservation, be aware that they will charge a small deposit which will be put towards your total room costs.

It's a shame because the location is great for the Causeway attractions and the staff are great but the poor sleep quality and breakfast let them down badly.

The bedrooms have an automatic bathroom light and a frosted door. The light stays on for 10 minutes after you turn it off which is like having someone shine a torch in your face waiting for it to go off. I asked reception and was told to remove the room key from the light socket, wait a bit and put it back in to reset the system. For two of the nights, the light came on by itself 5 times which meant a few trips to the door to reset it. What's wrong with a simple switch at the bathroom door?

Breakfast was a huge disappointment. If you want to eat a fry=up every morning you might be OK but they claim to have a Continental Breakfast Buffet which is shocking and an insult. It consists of packets of cereals, flavoured yoghurts and some fruit juice. No bread, pastries, muffins, plain yoghurts, fruit, preserves. They could learn a lot from the Premier Inn.

There's also a loop of the same music going round and round all day and night, it doesn't change for breakfast or evening meals or in the bar.

Room Tip: Get a room at the front, otherwise your view is a wall. And get the 2nd floor.

I recently stayed here with my friend on Saturday 12th august we had 3 issues with our room which I highlighted on check out
1) bathroom lights are sensored there’s no switches, they are supposed to go off after 7 minutes but ours never did very annoying when trying to sleep (be sure to bring an eye mask!)
2) dirty pillow case left on bed side cabinet
3) small marks on the bed sheet which looked like blood picture attached

I understood the hotel was at full capacity and we were only going to be in the room for an hour or 2 before dinner so highlighted the above issues when checking out, the receptionist was apologetic and said we shouldnt have had this experience and that she would take my card details but no payment would be taken until a manager had called me.
To my shock and surprise a card payment for the room was taken on Sunday evening with no call from the manager I actually had to call the hotel to speak to Shannen who was never actually going to call me but just knock £20 of the room!! She then proceeded to tell me that a fly in the bathroom or a towel on the floor can effect the lightning!! She also proceeded to tell me that the cleaners found a bloody tissue in our room which wasn’t ours! So begs the question were the bins emptied and sheets changed!! Cleaners and staff can make or break a hotel and completely agree with the other reviews they seriously need to up their game! If your looking for a girly break or couples retreat just book Me and Mrs Jones much smoother transaction!!

The hotel is in a convenient location and the room was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in . Good size rooms nicely decorated with very comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the hotel has a nice atmosphere. We were going to eat outside the hotel but when we checked in the food smelt amazing so we booked a table for evening dinner. The menu is large and varied with lots of options for diners. Unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations and we left most of it as it was inedible. The fish and chips were dripping in grease and the batter tasted terrible thankfully there is a pizza takeaway and we took pizza back to the room after having to pay for food we could not eat. The cliental in the hotel leaves a lot to be desired we were surrounded by people who were extremely drunk and loud at 6pm and this lowered the tone. You expect people to drink and enjoy themselves whilst they are away but when it ruins other guest experiences it is unacceptable. I think a lot were from the adjoining eye sore that is the caravan park and the foul language was very of putting when you have small children. We actually had to go to the room to escape the swearing and shouting it does not make for a safe or relaxing environment for families. The next morning we had breakfast which was also inedible and it is a very small menu selection I noticed it was a complementary breakfast and I would rather have been served good food and paid extra than what we were offered. When we are away food is an extremely important aspect of our stay and this area really needs looing at. I think the menu is geared towards the cliental that use the hotel so maybe it is in line with limited palate's and cheap food options. It was such a shame as the food does not reflect the quality of the rooms.

Stayed in this hotel with my partner for a 2 night stay (thurs-sat). This hotel is absolutely stunning. We got upgraded at arrival to a premium room. Massive king size bed, beautiful views of the golf course, modern clean bathroom. Flat screen tv with netflix, Amazon prime, bbc iplayer. We got a great affordable offer of a 2 night stay with breakfast both mornings and an evening meal. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast both mornings was lovely!! We got breakfast in bed on our second morning, staff couldn’t be more accommodating and helpful. Cant fault this hotel in the slightest! Perfect for a little couples getaway!!

Booked here at short notice and like many, I’m quite familiar with Kelly’s over the years, but never stayed in the hotel.

We were met by friendly reception staff and given a room. Unfortunately this room was slightly cramped with no view other than 3 walls and air conditioning units.

A quick trip to reception remedied this, and we were given a much better room with views out to sea. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar after a meal in the town, staff were very friendly & helpful, and little touches such as walking a quest to the hotel lifts don’t go unnoticed.

Only complaint was that although the room was good, it suffered from an electrical system drone which was very obvious during the night. I raised this with staff who acknowledged this was an issue with the room and have promised us a treat the next time we return…and we’ll be happy to do so.

We stayed in this Hotel as a couple and the service was great. The room was very modern, spacious and clean and has everything you need. There was no fridge in the room but it didn’t really matter to us. The bed is very comfortable and the room temperature is easily adjusted. The shower is great and was serviced with Shampoo etc.
The room had tea, coffee and hot choc as well as a coffee machine and kettle.

I will be back to stay in this hotel. They also have a complementary minibus taxi if you are stuck for a lift at certain times.

Highly recommended! 5*

Spent two nights here beginning our two week journey travelling down the west coast of Ireland. Having spent the last 7 weeks travelling across France, Germany, Austria, Czech republic and England let me tell you the food and staff at this hotel were amongst the best of our trip.

Food was very tasty and enormous portions. For £17 per person for two courses it is the best value for money food we have seen anywhere. I guess that explains why the joint is always full both lunch and dinner. Bookings essential!

The hotel room was comfortable and cosy, only downside was no bar fridge!

Highly recommended.
